Chapter 1450: The power of a Third Realm life form!
After overcoming the shock of Goldker’s head exploding under the might of the Spear of Doom, a wave of confusion and unease swept through the warriors of the Gu Sect and Golden Star Kingdom.
The gruesome spectacle had rendered them speechless, and their minds raced to understand how Cain had suddenly gained control of the Tower of Power.
Only Ariel was supposed to be able to control the tower, and everybody saw him perish under the attack of the Golden Lake Avatar, his lifelessness pulling into the golden plasma.
As their eyes darted toward the faintly glowing statue in Cain’s left hand, realization began to dawn.
It was clear that Cain had somehow retrieved Ariel’s corpse from within the Golden Lake and looted the powerful man’s space ring.
The implications of this were staggering.
Ariel’s wealth and treasures must have been immense, accumulated over centuries as the Guardian of the Golden Lake Border.
Greed flickered in the eyes of several cultivators, including those from Lady Azure’s faction, but especially among the members of the Night Prince’s faction.
The allure of the treasures and the towering power of the Tower of Power statue was almost irresistible.
Yet, the memory of Goldker’s fate loomed large.
The remains of his headless corpse sprawled lifeless on the ground, served as a chilling reminder of Cain’s lethal capabilities.
There was no point in having wealth if you die, so in the end, none of them dared to make a move.
“Hmph,” Cain sneered, exuding an air of complete disdain.
Without sparing the group another glance, he bent down, collected Goldker’s body, and strode purposefully toward the Tower of Power.
There, he settled beneath its imposing structure, took a swig of high-grade healing elixirs from Ariel’s space ring, and swallowed them all before quietly unleashing the full force of the Concept of Life to mend the wounds that ravaged his body.
The battle with the Golden Lake Avatar had inflicted grave injuries on Cain.
His decision to dive into the Avatar’s spiritual core, enduring both its suffocating interior and the apocalyptic explosion that followed, had nearly cost him his life.
Burns marred his skin, and fractures laced his bones, leaving him in excruciating pain.
Even so, the rewards far outweighed the costs.
While seizing Ariel’s treasures was an unexpected bonus, Cain’s true prize lay hidden within his Inner World: a fragment of the Avatar’s spiritual core!
The fragment, a shard of glowing white crystal, radiated an aura so powerful that it seemed to hum with life itself.
The shard’s overwhelming vitality was now nourishing every corner of Cain’s Inner World, sustaining it with energy so abundant that it could last decades.
Although Cain’s attack had not destroyed the Avatar’s spiritual core entirely, it had succeeded in chipping away a piece.
Losing this fragment had weakened the Avatar significantly during its resurgence, which was why the creature was so desperate to retrieve it, but it was not able to locate it once it was placed in Cain’s Inner World.
“This treasure…” Cain thought, his eyes gleaming as he gazed at the white crystal.
“It could help my cultivation immensely.” Of course, all those plans had to wait until he fully healed and was in a safe location.
For now, the shard would remain in his Inner World, serving as a source of vitality and energy while Cain focused on his recovery.
Hours passed in tense silence as the cultivators tended to their wounds.

Ironically, despite sustaining the most grievous injuries, Cain was the first to heal.
The combination of Ariel’s potent healing elixirs and the Concept of Life worked in tandem to mend his broken body at an astonishing pace.
As he continued to heal, Cain’s thoughts turned to Ariel.
“These elixirs are exceptional,” he mused, swallowing another pill and feeling its soothing energy flow through his veins.
“Why didn’t Ariel use them during his fight against the Golden Lake Avatar?” The answer, however, was obvious.
Arrogance and greed.
Ariel had likely believed he could survive without depleting his most valuable resources, confident in his abilities and the Tower of Power’s energy.
It was a fatal miscalculation, but one could not blame the man since there was no way he could have predicted Cain would have taken control of the tower.
By nightfall, Cain’s skin had fully regenerated, restoring his handsome features.
More importantly, over 80% of his internal injuries had healed.
The remaining 20% would take longer, but they were no longer a hindrance to his strength.
As dawn broke, Cain rose to his feet, his eyes gleaming with renewed vitality.
Clenching his fists, he felt his raging strength coursing through him like an unrelenting tide.
Without a word to anyone, he turned and began walking away.
“Where are you going?” The sharp question came from Arakos, his tone brimming with irritation.
As the squad leader, he was affronted by Cain’s blatant disregard for his authority.
Cain paused, glancing over his shoulder with a cold, piercing gaze.
“The Golden Lake’s phenomenon is resolved,” he said flatly.
“There’s nothing more to be done about the Avatar.
Our mission here is over.
If you’re too blind to see that, stay.
I’m leaving.” Without waiting for a response, Cain turned back toward the horizon.
He was about to ascend into the sky when his body suddenly froze.
His sharp gaze snapped back toward the Golden Lake, his instincts screaming.
The other cultivators followed his gaze, confusion etched on their faces.
At first, the lake appeared calm.
But within moments, their confusion turned to horror.
Above the center of the lake, a massive golden palm began to manifest, its sheer size defying comprehension.
The cultivators stared in stunned silence, their bodies trembling under the weight of the palm’s overwhelming aura.
The palm’s descent was slow but deliberate, radiating an energy so vast and oppressive that the space itself seemed to warp around it.
Shockwaves rippled outward, causing the ground to quake violently.
Cain’s eyes widened as he felt the sheer magnitude of the attack.
This was no power born of the Divine Transcendence Realm-it was far beyond that.
“A Third Realm life form,” Cain whispered, his voice tinged with awe.
