The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1497
Chapter 1497: Revealing the dual cultivation Chapter 1497: Revealing the dual cultivation A hush of shock fell across the battlefield as two words seemed to resound in everyone’s minds.
“Dual cultivation!” The echo reverberated through the dome, striking Diamon, his allies, and the remnants of Lady Azure’s faction with equal force.
To hear that phrase in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe was beyond shocking, precisely because dual cultivation was so incredibly rare.
To embark upon such a path required raising Soul Force to the Divine Ascension Realm while still remaining at the Apotheosis level-an undertaking already fraught with peril.
If that weren’t challenging enough, one had to endure the Nine Heavens Ego Destruction Tribulation.
Even for those who did triumph, most devoted their newly strengthened Soul Force to a single Sacred Organ, ensuring maximum benefit in one discipline.
Splitting one’s talent to pursue two paths simultaneously was widely regarded as reckless-dangerously inefficient and nearly impossible to maintain.
Even if someone possessed the innate ability and resources to attempt dual cultivation, success required maintaining both paths at roughly the same level.
Otherwise, the disparity in growth would render the split cultivation useless.
With his remarkable luck and destiny, Cain still confronted immense challenges on his dual-cultivation journey.
Had it not been for the radiations of a Tier 9 Astral Supremacy Star found in the Sky Sovereign’s tomb, his Astral Rebirth Path of Power might have lagged behind, losing its effectiveness and crippling his advancement.
Given these obstacles, it was no wonder that so few individuals in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe chose the dual cultivation path.
Those who somehow succeeded, however, became veritable monsters, their influence and destiny so immense that entire continents could be shaken by their mere presence.
The potency of Cain’s Star Power, coupled with the mastery of Laws he had displayed, marked him unequivocally as one of these rarities.
As that reality sank in, the killing intent among Diamon and his comrades only intensified.
If they allowed someone like Cain to leave the dome alive, they would forever be looking over their shoulders.
Cain stood at the center of the maelstrom, his three eyes gleaming with an unearthly brilliance.
His left eye and right eye shone with the golden energy of the Flow, while the Royal Supernova Space-Time Eye on his forehead pulsed with swirling cosmic radiance.
Each eye moved in a different direction, tracking attacks from every angle.
Frost-covered axes, gravitational pulses, swirling shadow blades, and whirling spears all converged on him.
He inhaled deeply, and in that moment, time seemed to slow.
Cain’s muscles coiled, and with breathtaking precision, he made his move.
First, he thrust the Spear of Doom forward, meeting Diamon’s descending axe head-on.
Instead of clashing in a test of raw power, Cain angled his spear just so, deflecting the axe and causing Diamon to lurch off-balance.
The displaced force propelled the Deus Behemoth into the path of the nearby Godslayer Human who controlled Gravity Star Power; the two collided, momentarily disrupting their teamwork.
Next, the Royal Supernova Space-Time Eye flared, distorting the flow of time around Cain.
A sudden arc of shadow energy-aimed with lethal precision at his head-froze in place a few millimeters from his temple.
In that fractional delay, Cain pivoted gracefully, lifting his leg for a powerful kick.
That blow intercepted the spear of a winged crocodile-like Deus Behemoth, knocking it upward so violently that the attack cut into the dome’s ceiling instead of piercing Cain’s torso.
Without missing a beat, Cain followed through with a spinning motion and smashed his foot into the crocodile-man’s stomach.

The impact sent the Deus Behemoth staggering backward, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
Cain allowed himself a small smile.
He had successfully countered a volley of attacks that would have overwhelmed a typical Peak Divine Transcendence Master.
But the instant Cain exhaled in triumph, a needle-thin stream of sharp, inky-black shadow energy lanced toward him from the side.
He barely had enough time to raise his left arm and brace for impact.
Though the blow trembled against his flesh, it failed to inflict a significant wound.
Anger flickered in Cain’s eyes as he glanced at the Anima Machinarium warrior who had launched the stealthy attack.
The man specialized in the Law of Shadows, and his attack speed was extraordinary.
Even with Cain’s heightened senses and the Flow, fully predicting the Anima’s movements proved difficult.
Of course, for the Anima, witnessing Cain effortlessly block a technique that had previously shattered the defenses of countless foes was deeply unsettling.
Diamon took in the skirmish with calculating eyes.
While he couldn’t deny his own astonishment at Cain’s skill, he suppressed his fear and roared an order that echoed through the dome.
“Keep attacking!
Don’t give him even a second to breathe!” His voice rang with authority, snapping his allies out of any lingering hesitation.
With renewed resolve, the entire group redoubled their offensive.
Diamon himself thrust his Soul Bloodline’s frigid aura to its utmost limit, unleashing fresh waves of sub-zero energy.
The temperature plummeted, and moisture in the air crystallized into icy daggers, swirling in miniature cyclones around the dome.
Cain could feel the chill creeping into his bones, but his own Star Power flared higher, keeping frostbite at bay.
Yet, as the fight escalated into a frenzy of collisions, Cain found himself continuously on the defensive.
The Flow guided him, allowing him to dodge or parry each strike, but the relentless onslaught made it difficult to formulate a decisive counterattack.
Whenever he tried to focus on a particular opponent-seeking that perfect moment to unleash a killing blow-another foe would strike from his blind spot, forcing him back on guard.
Even with his triple-eye advantage, he struggled to find an opening in their coordinated barrage.
Diamon led the offensive with unwavering determination, his ice axe flashing relentlessly.
However, as the seconds ticked by, his brows furrowed.
He noticed that two key allies were absent: the fiery brother and sister who commanded both Fire Star Power and Laws.
They had vanished.
A sudden light glimmered in Diamon’s eyes as realization struck him.
He raised his hand, signaling his warriors to pull back into a tighter formation, momentarily halting their bombardment. When Diamon spoke, his voice resonated with barely suppressed anger.
“What did you do with them?” Cain’s lips curved into a smile that never reached his cold, gleaming eyes.
“Isn’t it obvious?
I killed them.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Redsunworld Special shoutout to Jayscribe.
