The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1499
Chapter 1499: Plan H Chapter 1499: Plan H Thunderous explosions echoed across the dome as eight figures sprinted at full speed, their combined focus directed at a single man.
Despite the overwhelming advantage in numbers, each of those eight warriors remained on high alert, fully aware that one misstep in combat with Cain could spell their doom.
Cain’s eyes darted in every direction, guided by the Flow.
Simultaneously, the [Advanced Multidimensional Scan Force Field] alerted him to attacks that might otherwise escape his senses and Ego Wave detection.
When the hammer of the Godslayer Human who commanded Gravity Star Power crashed down, Cain deflected it with his spear, forcing its wielder back.
He prepared to surge forward and strike, but his instincts flared a warning.
Without wasting a second, Cain snapped his left hand to one side, catching an oncoming arc of formidable sword energy.
He angled this deadly blade of power upward, diverting it so it collided with a torrent of shadow bolts conjured by the Anima Machinarium.
Before Cain could withdraw his hand, two more assailants dove in.
Auron’s golden fist and the Behemoth’s spear-like tornado converged on his chest from opposing angles.
Acting on reflex, Cain unleashed the Royal Supernova Space-Time Eye at his forehead, pushing his mastery of time manipulation to its extreme.
Auron and the winged Behemoth froze in mid-attack, held inert by a distortion in the flow of time.
A red rivulet of blood trickled from Cain’s third eye, the strain of containing two Peak Divine Transcendence cultivators proving immense.
He ignored the splitting headache and lunged forward with the Spear of Doom, intending to finish them off.
Yet his momentum faltered.
Soro lunged from the flank, swinging a massive claw for Cain’s ribs.
Cain whirled, narrowly evading the blow-only to find Koro behind him.
Koro’s sweeping kick descended like an axe, powerful enough to cleave a mountain in half.
The Flow flared with a warning, and Cain twisted his torso at an impossible angle, seizing hold of Koro’s leg.
In a lightning-fast maneuver, he spun and slammed Koro into Soro, toppling both Behemoths into Auron and the winged crocodile-man.
Cain managed to handle seven of his foes in that brief skirmish, but the effort left him open to the eighth.
The snow leopard Deus Behemoth charged, his axe radiating sub-zero power.
Cain barely managed to raise the Spear of Doom to block.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!” A blast of icy energy engulfed Cain, hurling him across the dome.
He careened into the far wall, regaining his balance just before impact.
His arms trembled under the force of Diamon’s strike; the blow had nearly dislocated his shoulders.
Yet the eight Peak Divine Transcendence Masters weren’t about to let him catch his breath.
Fear spurred them on-fear of Cain’s resilience, his cunning, and his monstrous dual-cultivation strength.
They came at him again, each determined to land the killing blow.
Caught between these varied assaults, Cain drew on the Flow again, twisting sideways to avoid the arcs of sword energy and shadow energy.

Despite his quick thinking, Cain found himself nearly cornered against the walls. He fought with everything he had, always one step ahead and managing to land blows from time to time.
While far from lethal, they would harm his enemies.
Unfortunately, the exhaustion began to weigh on Cain, and the Deus Behemoth brothers took advantage of that.
Cain noticed the duo but was too late to dodge or redirect the attack.
He brought his spear up, but both of their claws landed squarely on his chest.
“Yin-Yang Implosion!” they roared in unison.
A swirling wave of opposite energies-one dark, one bright-burst forth at the point of impact, blasting Cain off his feet.
He crashed and tumbled across the ground, rolling end over end until, finally, he managed to plant the Spear of Doom and arrest his momentum.
As he rose, he felt blood welling in his throat.
Gasping for breath, Cain tightened his grip on the spear.
His vision swam, and his chest burned fiercely from the combined Yin-Yang blast.
But his enemies refused to grant him even a moment’s reprieve. A flurry of more attacks closed in.
The dome’s floor shook under the collective impact of so many high-level techniques.
In the haze of smoke and debris, Cain realized this battle was slipping from his control.
If things continued at this pace, he could end up dead.
Focus, he urged himself, forcing clarity into his thoughts.
His entire body throbbed, but he pushed the pain aside.
A decisive light flashed in his eyes.
‘Time for Plan H!’ “ARRRRGHHHH!” Cain roared, forcing the power of his Concepts to surge upward.
A fierce, fiery aura erupted from his body.
Forcing his battered frame into motion, he ducked a slash from Diamon’s axe, side-stepped gravity blasts, and brushed off a swirl of arcs of sundering energy.
Then, with a surge of speed bolstered by the Flow, Cain barreled past Soro and Koro before they could coordinate another Yin-Yang strike.
Sparks danced around his feet as he accelerated, channeling star energy into each stride.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Auron’s fist blazing toward him.
He twisted mid-sprint, letting the golden blow graze his shoulder rather than his chest, and kept going.
The winged crocodile Behemoth tried to intercept him with a whirlwind spear, but Cain ducked low.
In a blur of motion, Cain reached the Sky Sovereign’s corpse, still lying undisturbed in the center of the dome.
At first, none of the eight pursuers grasped his intention.
Confusion flickered on every face.
By all logic, grabbing the Sky Sovereign’s corpse would hinder Cain’s mobility.
And that would be a fatal mistake in a fight like this.
Halting his onslaught for a split second, Diamon felt a pang of doubt.
“What is he up to?” Cain never intended to carry the corpse.
Mustering every last ounce of strength in his right arm, he drove his fist into the dead man’s chest, precisely above the heart.
The sound of the impact reverberated through the dome like a thunderclap.
Everything went still for a moment-time itself seemed to hold its breath. “THUMP!” That single, ominous sound reverberated through the air.
In the next instant, a colossal wave of scorching radiation burst from the Sky Sovereign’s body, flooding the dome in an incandescent blaze of power.
The h in the plan was for heartbeat!
