The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1503
Chapter 1503: Time to end our fight Chapter 1503: Time to end our fight “HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Cain threw his head back in a fit of laughter as he reviewed the data from his Absolute Life Form System’s latest scan.
The first detail to seize his attention was his long-awaited jump in Wave Talent to the Second Order-a momentous shift that symbolized a higher potential for his cultivation base.
Of course, that capacity for future advancement was vital, but right now, what truly thrilled him was the astonishing surge in his physical attributes.
By his new measurements, his Strength, Agility, and especially his Vitality had soared by more than 25%.
In fact, his Vitality had climbed to a level that outmatched even many Peak Divine Transcendence Masters.
He allowed himself a brief moment of exultation, though it in no way dulled his keen battle awareness.
With a razor-focused expression, Cain turned to face Diamon and the rest of the battered group, still clinging to some semblance of a defensive formation.
Their wide-eyed stares betrayed a mixture of shock and terror, and Cain recognized that they now viewed him as something akin to a monster.
“Well, that’s not exactly an unfair description,” Cain mused.
Smirking, he strode confidently forward, reaching for the Spear of Doom embedded in the dome’s shattered floor.
Waves of radiation emanating from the Sky Sovereign’s corpse washed over him, their searing heat neutralized by the solar fire mantle that now cloaked his body.
“I’d say it’s finally time to end our fight, wouldn’t you?” A palpable tremor passed through Diamon and his comrades at those words.
Not only had Cain’s breakthrough effectively healed all his own wounds, but the merciless torrent of radiation from the Sky Sovereign’s corpse had worsened the injuries of his enemies.
Where they once might have mounted a potent defense, their condition was now dire.
Still, their hesitation to move didn’t mean Cain would show similar restraint.
A lethal gleam danced in his eyes as the rest of his body tensed.
Drawing on the synergy of his dual cultivation and the new cosmic power surging through his frame, Cain steadied the Spear of Doom.
A moment later, he poured every ounce of Star Power he could muster into the weapon.
The dome reverberated with a low hum as he took a decisive step forward, releasing the spear in a single, explosive throw.
“ZNNNNNNN-” A tearing sound of space-time disruption accompanied the Spear of Doom as it hurtled through the air.
Though the weapon measured just under three meters in length and possessed a relatively slender, ten-centimeter width, Diamon and his allies perceived it as if an incandescent sun had been flung at them at blinding speed.
In barely a fraction of a second, the spear had already crossed the distance, trailing an aura that distorted reality.
The combined might of Star Power and multidimensional Laws made predicting its true target nigh impossible.
They all attempted to dodge.
Most succeeded, more through raw instinct than any calm calculation.
However, a single anguished shriek broke over the din.
“AHHHHHHH.” Eyes snapped toward the source of the cry.
The Anima Machinarium, which mastered the Law of Shadows, was now skewered to the dome’s wall, the Spear of Doom piercing his metallic torso.
The blade ended mere millimeters from his heart, but his spine had been severed.
Unable to move, the Anima could only watch helplessly as vitality seeped away.

Cain’s grim satisfaction deepened.
Although the Anima might not have been the strongest of Diamon’s group, his silent and elusive strikes had posed the greatest problem.
With that opponent now neutralized, the rest would be markedly simpler to handle.
Not wasting even a second, Cain vanished from his spot.
The panic and disarray caused by the spear opened an opportunity to strike again.
Auron, still nursing a gaping wound in his chest, caught only a glimpse of Cain’s afterimage.
Fear roiled inside him, but he forcibly channeled it into grim determination.
If he was destined to die, it wouldn’t be with his back turned.
Sucking in a shuddering breath, Auron burned his life force, igniting a final stand.
His fist glowed a fierce gold, the accumulated power enough to pulverize a mountain.
“ARRGGHHHHH!” he roared, ignoring the pain ravaging his body.
Rearing back, he threw a punch meant to clash head-on with Cain.
The last time the Spear of Doom had collided with Auron’s golden fist, the result had been a near-stalemate.
But this time, Cain calmly met the attack with his right fist.
The air thundered with the collision.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!” A pulse of solar energy erupted from Cain’s knuckles, obliterating the bones in Auron’s hand.
The shockwave rattled the crumbling dome, sending bits of debris clattering down from the vaulted ceiling.
“AHHH…” Auron’s attempted scream came out as a strangled gasp of agony.
Before he could even process the pain, Cain followed up with a lightning-quick thrust of his left hand.
The blow struck directly over Auron’s heart, channeling a spasm of energy into his Sacred Organs and launching him backward.
The man crashed into the ground with a sickening thud, pale and broken.
“Two down,” Cain thought coldly as he watched Auron’s limp form.
The man’s injuries were so severe that even if he clung to life, he’d hardly be able to fight back.
Victory in that skirmish had been a foregone conclusion.
With the Shadow Anima and Auron out of the fight, six of Cain’s enemies remained.
The survivors gathered together, forming a tight cluster on the other side of the dome.
Anxiety and desperation fueled them in equal measure, their eyes flickering between Cain’s sun-like aura and the precarious environment of the dome, which was now dotted with fissures and glowing rivulets of molten rock.
Cain regarded them impassively.
If anything, the coldness in his gaze intensified, leaving no room for mercy or compassion.
With a single swift motion, Cain extended his right hand. The Spear of Doom came tearing out of the impaled Anima’s body, streaking back across the dome to snap into Cain’s grip like a loyal hawk returning to its master. Cain’s energy flared anew, and his silhouette gleamed.
No deceptions this time, no illusions or complicated strategy-just raw, visceral power.
He propelled himself forward in a burst of cosmic might, the dome’s floor cracking beneath the force of his takeoff.
