The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1510
Chapter 1510: Facing the Sky Sovereign (I) Chapter 1510: Facing the Sky Sovereign (I) Cain’s eyes were sharp and focused as he channeled the energies described in the Indestructible Herculean Technique, blending Fire and Gravity Star Power within his flesh and blood.
Each minute, the density of his cells increased as he painstakingly compressed and refined his physical form.
For an entire week, he remained in that meditative state, pushing his body further along the third step of the Second Level.
At last, Cain opened his eyes-but not because he had completed the step.
The reason was far more straightforward: the Gravity Star Power flowing from the Rebirth Heart he had salvaged was nearly depleted.
After all, the organ was no longer linked to an Astral Supremacy Star, so its reserve of cosmic energy was finite.
Despite this interruption, Cain did not seem frustrated.
“It was bound to happen,” he murmured, extending his left hand.
A 27 Revolutions Flame blazed in his palm, a swirling conflagration of intense multicolored light.
He directed the flame toward the Rebirth Heart, initiating another Revolution Refinement.
This process drew upon even greater amounts of world energy to mend and replenish the heart’s innate Gravity Star Power than before.
The second Cain applied the flame, the air around him thickened, charged with potent astral currents.
The heart glowed, absorbing wave after wave of energy.
Although the process was more complex than the previous refinement-and more taxing on Cain-he persevered, finely controlling the flame’s intensity so the heart would neither shatter nor burn out.
After many grueling hours, the organ stabilized and once again radiated a steady, powerful pulse of Gravity Star Power.
With his renewed energy source secured, Cain resumed training.
He sank back into meditation, channeling Fire Star Power from his own Astral Supremacy Star and siphoning Gravity Star Power from the Rebirth Heart.
The synergy of fire and gravitational forces continued to compact each cell in his body, forging a level of physical resilience rarely seen among cultivators at his rank.
Two more weeks passed in this way.
Then, once again, the Rebirth Heart began to wane.
Cain repeated the procedure a second time, this time conjuring a 28 Revolutions Flame.
Sweat slicked his brow as he managed the refinement, for the more times he revitalized the heart, the greater the strain on his own reserves.
When the refinement ended and the heart was restored, Cain breathed heavily.
He had reached his mental limits.
“But it’s worth it,” he said, regaining his composure.
Indeed, the newly revitalized Rebirth Heart now pulsed with even denser, purer Gravity Star Power than before.
He returned to his meditation, once again merging Fire and Gravity within his cells.
Thirteen days later, a radiant smile finally blossomed on his face.
The ground beneath him cracked, unable to withstand the sudden increase in the density of his body.
At that very moment, he felt a surge of triumph course through his veins.

“So this is it.
The third step of the Second Level of the Indestructible Herculean Technique is complete.” His eyes gleamed with excitement, the joy of having pushed his body to yet another tier of might!
However, just as exhilaration soared within him, a sharp wave of agony stabbed into his consciousness.
The pain was so sudden and intense that it nearly drove him to the ground.
Through blurry vision, he caught sight of a strange mark appearing on his forearm.
It resembled an intricate spiderweb, and it scorched into his flesh as if seared by a branding iron.
“What-?” Cain hissed, clenching his teeth.
Confusion flooded his mind as he tried to purge the mark using his Ego Wave, Astral Origin, and Essence Origin.
None of them had the slightest effect.
Then, he attempted a more direct approach, calling upon the Absolute Life Form System.
Again, there was no response.
“A Third Realm power…” he muttered, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
His unease turned to dread when a powerful tremor shook his Soul Dimension.
Alarmed, Cain focused his senses inward and beheld a startling sight: Leviathan roared furiously at the sky, where a massive spiderweb-like seal had manifested.
Jagged lines of spiritual energy spread across the vaulted “ceiling” of his Soul Dimension.
“Apex?!” Cain’s mental voice rang with urgency, distress clear in his tone.
He rarely liked to rely on his System Spirit for solutions, but the situation was too dire for pride.
A seal at this level of power was beyond anything he had encountered, and if it threatened even the sanctity of his Soul Dimension, he needed help immediately.
But Apex’s answer was grim, echoing inside Cain’s mind with solemn finality.
“That is a seal and not an invasion of your soul.
I’m sorry, but I can’t interfere with that kind of force.” Cain’s fury and frustration ignited at once.
His fists clenched so tightly that his nails bit into his palms.
He could do nothing but watch as the seal finished forming above Leviathan.
In the next heartbeat, it activated.
“BOOM!” A shockwave radiated across the entire Soul Dimension, sending Leviathan hurtling backward and causing the ground beneath Cain’s mental avatar to quake.
As Cain tried to regain his bearings, a flicker in the periphery of his consciousness caught his eye.
The seal’s eruption of energy had illuminated a hidden corner in his Soul Dimension.
In that remote corner, Cain spotted a faint, phantasmal figure-so transparent that, under normal circumstances, it could have remained undetected.
But the tremors stirred by the spiderweb seal exposed it.
“The Sky Sovereign?!” Cain exclaimed.
He recognized the shape: it was the image of the same being whose corpse he had taken from the tomb.
Only this phantom version appeared as the Sky Sovereign might have looked at his prime-over three meters tall, with a muscular physique, dark hair cascading over broad shoulders, and clad in golden robes that radiated an aura of might.
His face was strikingly handsome, dominated by fierce, commanding eyes.
Those eyes flicked toward Cain, filled not with hate or wrath but with a stark indifference born of reaching incomprehensible heights in the universe.
The shock upon shock assailing Cain threatened to overwhelm him.
But he had fought too many battles to crumble under sudden adversity.
A cold resolve replaced his momentary confusion, and lethal intent flared in his gaze as he shouted inwardly, “Apex!” This time, his System Spirit did not hesitate to respond.
Although it couldn’t interfere with the cosmic-level seal swirling like a spiderweb overhead, it could confront the phantasmal entity that had revealed itself in Cain’s Soul Dimension.
An immense golden hand-the size of a small world-materialized above the phantom figure of the Sky Sovereign!
