The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1535
Chapter 1535: A sun rising from the ground Chapter 1535: A sun rising from the ground A figure soared across the Everlife Continent, his flight so rapid it seemed as if space-time itself parted to make way.
He wore an ornate martial robe draped over broad shoulders, its fabric appearing almost alive-tendrils of dark energy rippling across it.
Although the robe could not match the imposing might of plate armor, the truth was its durability was something no Divine Transcendence Treasure could match.
The man’s arms, chest, and head bore black, glowing runes.
These were not the sort engraved by Runic Masters but rather ones that had naturally formed under the massive amount of energy coursing through his body, and it was so much that it could surpass that of a Primary World’s sun!
He had leathery skin, a hairless body, and pointed ears, an unsettling blend of elf and vampire-indicative of the Atrox Immortus race.
His eyes were a sea of darkness, each with a tiny, fiery center, radiating enough destructive potential to burn entire worlds.
The man’s speed was breathtaking, the air splitting around him with every moment.
Only a Third Realm master following the Astral Rebirth Path of Power could reach velocities that seemed to brush the speed of light!
This man’s name was Alucard, a Prima Deity and one of the leaders of the Eclipse School, itself a Lord-Tier Organization-one among three that ruled the Everlife Continent.
As a cultivator on the pinnacle of the continent, there were few situations that could truly provoke Alucard’s anxiety.
Short of an all-out war engulfing the entire continent, he usually spared little thought for outside events, focusing instead on his cultivation.
Yet on this day, an occurrence so startling had taken place that his calm shattered, plunging his heart into turmoil.
It happened during one of his usual cultivation sessions.
Someone disrupted him, reporting that a group of Divine Transcendence and Divine Transformation Masters sought an urgent audience.
At first, Alucard was furious-why should he be disturbed by a summons from those he considered relatively insignificant?
But everything changed the moment he learned they claimed to have knowledge that could place his son’s life in extreme danger.
For Alucard, few things mattered beyond cultivation; family was one of those rare exceptions.
Though he knew his son had suffered defeat while exploring a secret realm, the boy had eventually returned alive, recuperating well.
Still, the world housed many unpredictable powers, so Alucard would not dare be careless.
Without hesitation, he agreed to meet with this delegation.
The moment Alucard appeared before them, he allowed the full might of his Prima Deity aura to roar into being-a demonstration usually sufficient to terrify any Soul Realm life form into quivering submission.
Yet these visitors displayed neither trembling nor pleas for mercy.
It wasn’t that they felt no fear; rather, they seemed to be mere puppets under someone else’s remote control.
Then, in a monotone chorus, the entire group spoke in unison.
“I let your son live, but I gave him a gift-the same gift I gave to this group.
Come to the Purgatory Volcanic Range within three hours.
If you let me go, the debt for sparing your son’s life will be paid, and I will owe you a favor.” No further explanation followed.
As soon as the final syllable left their lips, the hearts of each of those visitors exploded, one by one.
It was a gruesome sight-each puppet’s chest burst open in a wet explosion of gore, killing them instantly.

The events unfolded so swiftly that even Alucard barely had time to react.
Everything about that bizarre message shocked him, but he was an old monster, so he was able to release his Ego Wave and take control over the bodies of the two puppets before they exploded.
As he desperately attempted to halt the violent detonation, Alucard sensed a strange entity entwined within their hearts, yet his efforts failed to impede the self-destruction.
Despite his best efforts, all members of the delegation perished in a shower of blood.
Despite the horrifying spectacle, Alucard remained focused.
Once the final puppet died, he instantly raced to his son’s healing chamber.
Concentrating on the boy’s heart, he detected a faint echo of that same malevolent presence.
Though weak and currently dormant, Alucard knew all too well that it could be activated at any moment.
He recognized he could likely extract it given ample time, but time was a luxury he did not have, and the one that put it in could trigger the explosion at any time. Therefore, in a single decisive moment, Alucard made a choice.
Leaving his school behind, he flew at top speed toward the Purgatory Volcanic Range.
Of course, he had no intention of merely chatting with whoever threatened his son’s life.
His plan was to trap this unknown foe, seal their soul, and ensure the individual couldn’t even form coherent thoughts until Alucard was certain his son was safe.
He was less than thirty seconds from reaching the Purgatory Volcanic Range when he felt a sudden change in the atmosphere.
The fiery, violent presence usually permeating the region was gone, replaced by something else.
Third Realm spells of colossal scope had evidently unleashed their fury, warping the area’s aura.
Alucard scanned ahead and saw a vast ocean covering where the volcanoes had once stood.
‘What happened here?’ confusion flashed in his mind.
The Purgatory Volcanic Range was unrecognizable, transformed into a churning sea.
But he pushed forward.
No matter how much had changed, he would not be deterred from his objective.
Moments later, his eyes widened as he beheld a sight so startling it shook him to his core-something he had not witnessed once in his millions of years of life.
‘Is that… a sun rising from the ground?’ It was his first, instinctive thought.
A radiant, golden orb of seemingly infinite energy emerged in the middle of the ocean that covered the devastated volcanic region.
Majestic in its brilliance, it appeared large enough to dwarf the entire range.
Merely by existing, it made the whole continent tremble.
Not mere tremors, but massive earthquakes rumbled through the land.
Fiery shockwaves rolled outward, incinerating anything in their path.
