Chapter 1537: Victory over a Third Realm life form!
“Alucard!
That boy managed to unleash this Astral Supremacy Star, and I am certain he holds countless other treasures!
Help me capture him, and not only can you keep everything he has, but I will also give you a Fragmented World Core!” Marlin’s voice was barely more than a rasp due to the injuries ravaging her body, but her power allowed her to manipulate sound waves and distort the air, carrying her message clearly across the battlefield.
Despite the long-standing tensions between the Gu Sect and the Eclipse School and the fact that they belong to Light and Dark Races when one lived for millions of years, old rivalries and xenophobia could be overlooked in the name of profit.
A Fragmented World Core-such a thing was precious beyond measure, even to a Prima Deity like Alucard.
His eyes narrowed as he weighed the offer.
Though he did not trust Marlin, her reasoning was solid.
A mere Soul Realm cultivator had unleashed a Tier 9 Astral Supremacy Star, fought toe-to-toe with a Third Realm master, and somehow lived-which meant he must possess other unimaginable treasures.
A single second was all it took for Alucard to reach a decision.
His body shuddered, and then roared to life.
Dark flames erupted from his skin, hungrily devouring the heat from the Astral Supremacy Star.
His form expanded, nearly doubling in size, his muscles swelling with power, the black runes carved into his flesh pulsing in resonance.
‘This is it!’ Marlin thought, a vicious smile forming despite her agony.
Even after everything-the humiliating wounds, the severed limb, the burning agony-she would finally get her revenge.
Meanwhile, Cain kept pushing forward, using every ounce of strength he had left to put distance between himself and the two Third Realm monsters behind him.
He could feel the overwhelming energy gathering behind him-Alucard charging his attack-but he could do nothing except keep running and trust his plan.
Then, the booming voice of the Eclipse School’s Prima Deity echoed like thunder across the battlefield, reaching Cain’s ears.
“Boy, remember this!” Cain gritted his teeth, expecting an attack.
“You owe me one!” Cain’s eyes widened, and a slow grin spread across his face.
At the same time, horror flashed across Marlin’s burned features.
“Abyssal Tyrant Fist!” Alucard roared, shifting his focus away from Cain and onto Marlin.
His mantle of dark flames expanded as his right fist launched forward, channeling all the energy he had absorbed from the Astral Supremacy Star.
A massive imprint of a fist shot forward, carrying an overwhelming aura of destruction.
The sheer speed and power behind the attack made it impossible for Marlin to dodge.
Desperation flashing across her ruined face, she summoned a water dragon, letting its immense body coil around her like a protective shield.
The flames met the water construct in a violent collision, sending shockwaves that shattered the surrounding landscape.
The attack didn’t fully penetrate, but the force behind it was still enough to send her flying, her body tumbling like a broken doll through the air.
She vomited blood, along with pieces of her internal organs, her already-ravaged body taking even more damage.

“Alucard!
You bastard!” Marlin’s voice was full of rage and incredulity.
“Do you wish to start a war with the Gu Sect?!” Her voice was shrill with rage and disbelief, but she didn’t stop fleeing.
Even at her peak, she would have struggled against Alucard; in her crippled state, fighting him was suicide.
“Hahahaha!
Shut up and die, bitch!” Alucard’s laughter thundered across the sky as he devoured another massive wave of flames from the Tier 9 Astral Supremacy Star, his dark silhouette flashing after Marlin like a shadow of death.
His intent was clear-he was going to kill her.
As Cain watched Alucard chase Marlin, he felt an immense weight lift from his shoulders.
He exhaled deeply, his chest heaving, a sense of exhausted relief flooding him.
The Eclipse School’s Third Realm Master had been an unpredictable variable-a wild card that could have easily turned against him.
The odds had been terrible, and the risk was extreme-but in the end, it had worked.
‘I never actually expected to kill her.’ Cain thought, his vision still blurry from exhaustion.
‘Hell, deep down, I never even expected to wound her so much.’ The difference in power between them had been monstrous.
Yet somehow, Cain had accomplished far more than he anticipated.
He had left deep, irreparable wounds on Marlin.
He had destroyed her leg, severed an arm, and burned her beyond recognition.
However, from the start Cain knew that even if he had somehow managed to defeat her, he wouldn’t have had the strength to finish her off.
That was why he had taken such a dangerous gamble-sending men implanted with the Leviathan Shadow to Alucard.
‘If I’m truly lucky,’ Cain thought, a smirk forming, ‘I’ll never have to deal with her again.’ “Hahahaha…” A small chuckle escaped his lips.
Then, without warning, his laughter grew.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Cain’s laughter echoed across the ruined battlefield, a sound of triumph, of relief, of pure exhilaration.
‘I fought a Prima Deity-a monster with over a million years of experience, a being who stood at the very peak of the Everlife Continent!
I fought an enemy that all Soul Realm cultivators are forced to bow to… Not only did I survive, but I made her run like a dog!’ Cain’s entire body had been pushed to its absolute limit, forced to the brink of death over and over again.
But he had never given in, never stopped, never let himself collapse-not even for a nanosecond.
And in doing so, he had achieved the impossible.
He had defeated a Third Realm life form!
…
The battlefield was eerily silent in the wake of Cain’s laughter.
The Tier 9 Astral Supremacy Star still burned above, its cosmic flames licking at the sky.
The Purgatory Volcanic Range had been utterly devastated-an entire region wiped away, its volcanoes reduced to molten slag.
In the far distance, the battle between Alucard and Marlin continued-while Cain kept getting farther and farther away.
