Chapter 1573: Cain vs Lady Azure’s faction
Lady Azure’s glowing eyes locked onto Cain as her energy surged through the battlefield. Even before the enhancement from the city’s towers, her energy pool had already surpassed the limits of the Soul Realm. But now, with the amplifications, claiming that her Essence Origin had reached the Third Realm would not be an exaggeration.
Of course, she could not yet wield Prima Deity’s spells as she still only possessed an Inner world, and her control over cosmic forces was not high enough. Still, the immense pressure radiating from her was undeniable, and she could deploy abilities normal Peak Divine Transcendence Master could only dream about.
The Anima clasped her hands, and the spider-shaped Gu Insect on her forearm shone with ominous light.
The very fabric of space-time trembled.
Dimensional rifts tore open around Lady Azure, massive fractures in reality from which chaotic space-time turbulence poured forth. At first, there were only a few, but within seconds, dozens of them manifested, distorting the battlefield.
Cain’s golden eyes narrowed, his gaze sharpening as he analyzed the technique.
“Instead of channeling all her power into one overwhelming spell, she’s spreading it across multiple rifts… making it even more obvious that she knows about my Redirection.” Solemnity arose in Cain’s heart as that thought crossed his mind.
And it wasn’t just that—Cain also noticed that each dimensional rift’s strength was calibrated to a level high enough to surpass his body’s overwhelming defenses.
“She knows exactly how much power is needed to wound me. How?” His frown deepened.
Unless Karun had relayed the information about him, Lady Azure’s detailed understanding of his abilities didn’t make sense. But Cain had no time to dwell on the mystery.
No matter how she had gathered this knowledge, it would not change the outcome of this battle.
His grip tightened around the Shooting Star Dragon Halberd, the weapon pulsating with ferocious Star Power and Laws converging around him.
A moment of tense silence settled upon the battlefield.
Lady Azure’s forces focused all their attention on Cain, their bodies coiled like springs, ready to unleash their full might.
And finally, the battlefield erupted as a sea of spells busted forward, with what could only be described as a cataclysmic power.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!”
A devastating explosion shattered the stillness as a tsunami of spells came surging toward Cain.
There were more than ten thousand of them.
Individually, only a handful of those spells posed a real threat to him. But the problem lay in their execution—the truly lethal ones were hidden within the overwhelming barrage, making them hard to detect or dodge in time.
“Smart.” Cain’s lips curled slightly in appreciation.
Even though these people were his enemies, Cain couldn’t deny the effectiveness of their strategy.
Unfortunately for them, Cain was not out of moves. Ever since his Essence Evolution Path of Power had evolved, his spellcasting prowess had skyrocketed, more than high enough to counter what was coming.
“ROOOOOOOAAAAARRRR!”
Cain unleashed a deafening dragon’s roar, sending forth shockwaves infused with Laws powerful enough to obliterate anything beneath the Divine Transcendence level.
The battlefield trembled as thousands of weaker spells were shattered instantly, leaving only the true threats behind. There were still over a thousand, but Cain could handle them.
Cain’s eyes flickered like molten gold, his vision locked onto the remaining dangerous spells. Without hesitation, he charged forward, his speed tearing through the water like a comet.
He ignored the weaker Divine Transcendence spells, letting them slam uselessly against his body, not even leaving a scratch.
Until, finally, he reached the heart of the danger—The dimensional rifts.
The dozens of spatial rifts came at Cain from all directions, ready to tear his body apart.
But he did not collide with them. Instead, he extended his left hand, brushing against one of the rifts with precise control.

In an instant, Cain shifted its trajectory, sending it crashing into another rift.
“BOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!”
One after another, the dimensional rifts imploded against each other, causing chaotic surges of space-time destruction.
The cultivators watching the battle felt pure dread take root in their hearts.
Cain was untouched. He had ignored most of their spells and turned their strongest ones against them. And with each passing second, he drew closer to their army.
“KEEP ATTACKING!” Lady Azure’s eyes burned with fury and desperation as she shouted at her soldiers.
Her voice carried a mix of rage and fear as she continued summoning more dimensional rifts, hoping to overwhelm him through sheer numbers.
But panic had begun seeping into the ranks of her army. Even the most disciplined cultivators hesitated as they watched their best spells fail to stop the monster in front of them.
Yet there was no room for hesitation—not against Cain.
He moved like an executioner, unfazed by their magic, cutting through their ranks with methodical precision.
Cain thrust forward, closing the last few meters between him and Lady Azure’s battalion.
With one final, ferocious swing of his halberd, he roared.
“STELLAR DRAGON CLAW!” His Laws and Star Power merged, forming the shape of a titanic dragon claw, the size of a colossal mountain.
The attack struck with overwhelming force, sending Divine Transcendence Masters flying like ragdolls, their formations shattered instantly.
Hundreds of Divine Transformation Masters were killed on impact, their bodies disintegrated under the sheer magnitude of the strike while thousands more were sent spiraling away, their injuries grievous.
Yet, Cain’s eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the battlefield.
The casualties—while massive—were still less than expected.
The city’s energy enhancements had reinforced their defenses, allowing many to survive what should have been a complete massacre.
Cain’s expression remained cold. “You’re only delaying the inevitable.”
His Star Sealing Runic Formation glowed as it absorbed the Gu Insects of those who had fallen. Then, he locked his gaze on Lady Azure, making his killing intent explode.
Not only did he harbor personal vengeance against the Anima, but killing her would break the morale and defenses of the remaining forces.
In a golden flash, Cain lunged forward, his halberd aimed for Lady Azure’s throat.
