Chapter 1608: The Scarlet Throne of the Conquest Sovereign!
“Merc—” Reverend Madness could no longer produce sound as his energy was sealed, but the horror in his soul was so immense that his broken mouth attempted to move, his lips cracking apart, causing chunks of burned flesh to fall away. It was clearly painful, but the man was desperate.
Sadly for him, it made no difference.
Cain’s gaze remained unwavering as he carried on, his voice calm yet carrying the weight of an unshakable decree.
“I am the end of your path. Your power, your life, your very will—mine to devour.”
The moment the words left his mouth, a terrifying change took place.
From Cain’s forehead, the Eye of Gluttony manifested, its abyssal hunger igniting the very air around it. Simultaneously, the power of The Flow burst through his right and left eyes, forming a triad of divine energy.
And then, from the void behind him, his Alter-Ego emerged.
“ROOOOOOAAARRRRR!”
The sky trembled as Leviathan’s colossal, cosmic form materialized, its chest splitting apart to reveal a monstrous, vertical-slitted eye—the evolved form of the Eye of Gluttony.
It pulsed with an infinite hunger, its golden glow laced with the power of The Flow, distorting space itself.
For the first time, the two greatest abilities Cain had wielded since the beginning of his journey had fused into one force—a power that transcended everything he had ever known.
Cain lifted his hand, his voice echoing across the heavens.
“All shall kneel before the throne. Their power, their will, their very existence—mine to consume, mine to command!”
The air shuddered, space distorted, and then…
A massive, blood-red gate emerged, stretching across the entire sky, its sheer size rivaling continents. Embedded at its center was a colossal engraving—the same golden eye of hunger that pulsed within Leviathan’s chest.
From within the Soul Dimension, a pair of eyes watched the scene unfold with shock and awe.
The Sky Sovereign gazed upon the massive portal that had appeared, and a grin of pure admiration spread across his face. He could feel its power and the incredibly profound principles behind it.
“Amazing.” His words carried an undeniable thrill.
The Third Realm phantom had no idea how Cain obtained that power, but he was impressed beyond measure by it. But elsewhere in the Soul Dimension, far beyond even Cain’s reach, another being watched in absolute shock.
The golden humanoid stood frozen, his eyes wide in disbelief as he stared at the blood-red gate that Cain managed to summon.
“When!?” Apex could not stop himself from shouting, his very essence trembling from the revelation that assaulted his soul as he turned around and gazed at the gate covered in chains of lighting and fire.
Although their size and design were different, there was no doubt that the aura of that gate in the sky was equal to the one behind Apex.
“How? How did the boy obtain access to a power like this?” A deep frown appeared in the System Spiirt as he went through his memories, and then, clarity struck.
Decades ago, when Cain had barely begun forming his Alter-Ego, the power of the Red King had flooded into the Sun Seed, which would once evolve into Leviathan.
At the time, Apex had assumed the Red King was simply expanding Cain’s potential, fortifying the Alter-Ego with raw cosmic force.
Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that the Red King had instead been sealed a replica of the gate within the Alter-Ego, silently growing, adapting, fusing with Cain’s Eye of Gluttony and The Flow, molding itself into something new.
Although Apex did not understand the purpose of such actions, the Red King always had a plan behind his schemes. But it was too late, and now, all he could do was watch.
Back in the Gu World, Cain stared up at the massive gate in the sky, his smile widening as he roared to the heavens.
“The Scarlet Throne of the Conquest Sovereign!” As those words echoed across the world, the gate opened, revealing the realm within Leviathan’s heart.
A landmass of immeasurable size spread out before them, stretching for thousands upon thousands of kilometers—so vast it surpassed Leviathan itself.

The crimson-tinged landscape was filled with towering mountains, endless canyons, and infernal volcanoes, their eruptions forming storms that raged eternally.
Yet, there was no life within this realm. It was not a physical world but one forged of pure psychic force—a dominion of absolute conquest.
Reverend Madness stared at it with horror as it felt like that dimension was taking hold of him. A force beyond reason, beyond resistance, wrapped around his soul. He struggled, tried to fight back—but it was futile.
Cain’s voice was calm, yet final. “Those that fall to conquest… can never escape the throne’s power.”
Reverend Madness’s body trembled violently as his very essence was torn from him, ripped from the Night Prince’s broken vessel that he had possessed.
His phantom-like soul was dragged toward the open gate, unable to resist the force that claimed him.
“PLEASE STOP! I BEG YOU! DON’T DO THIS!” Inside the psychic dimension, he could produce sounds—but it did not matter.
No screams escape.
No prayers are heard.
No mercy is given.
The moment he crossed the threshold, the half-billion-year-old monster known as Reverend Madness ceased to exist.
He became nothing but an offering to conquest itself.
“AHHHHHHHHHHH!” A wail of agony, unlike anything he had ever felt before, tore through him. It was as if an invisible blade had severed his connection to reality itself, isolating him in a world where escape did not exist.
“NO! NO! NO!”
Reverend Madness continued to scream, his voice fading into the abyss, as the massive gates of the Scarlet Throne closed behind him.
Cain lowered his hand, and the blood-red gate that had once loomed over the Gu World vanished.
But the realm itself remained. Inside Leviathan’s heart, Reverend Madness’s torment had only just begun. His soul would now face a fate that was worse than death and from which there was no escape.
