The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1621
Chapter 1621: Dad is back!
Two young boys, around ten years old, sat in a meditative position in the sky, their small figures radiating immense and powerful auras. One had striking red hair, while the other had pure white hair. These two were none other than Cain’s sons—Rylanor, the Human-Atrox Hybrid who carried the might of the Primordial Race within his soul, and Magnus, a pure Godslayer Human blessed by the power of The Flow.
Despite their youth, the power surging from their bodies was formidable, though highly unstable. This instability stemmed from the trials they had just endured—Rylanor had undergone the True Flesh Calamity, while Magnus had recently faced the Wind Tribulation. These were critical thresholds in their cultivation, marking a significant step in their journey to true power.
Their energy remained turbulent for a while, but slowly, it began to settle. As they opened their eyes, a profound sense of strength and wisdom gleamed within their gazes. Although they were still far from the peak of the Physical Realm, Rylanor and Magnus had already reached a level where they could defeat most Divine Ascension Masters with ease, thanks to their exceptional bloodlines, abilities, and domain over cosmic forces.
Despite their impressive achievements, neither boy displayed arrogance. They had been raised on the legendary tales of their father—how Cain had slain Divine Ascension Masters while still being only a Wave King. Unlike them, who had access to the greatest teacher, vast resources, and an endless ocean of treasures, Cain had risen from nothing, forging his own path through relentless hardship and battle.
Though still young, Rylanor and Magnus had been groomed from an early age to value hard work, perseverance, and discipline.
“What should we do now?” Rylanor asked, glancing at Magnus.
Magnus’ eyes narrowed in thought before he spoke. “We should return home. I want to see if there’s any news about those tremors. I felt a fundamental shift in the world’s foundation.” His voice carried a sharp awareness as his golden eyes glowed with the light of The Flow.
Rylanor nodded in agreement. He, too, had sensed a change in the natural energy flow—it had become far more potent, almost as if the entire world had strengthened overnight.
Just as the two boys prepared to ascend toward the Tower of Babel, a massive entity materialized in the highest part of the sky, far above the tower.
It was a gargantuan, so massive that they could not see the end of its body. Its draco-serpentine body shimmered with scales that radiated more energy than the sun itself. Though it possessed an overwhelming and terrifying presence, the two boys’ faces lit up with broad smiles.
“Dad is back!”
Rylanor and Magnus shouted in unison before bursting forward, dashing through the sky toward their father.
Inside the highest level of the Tower of Babel, Cain stood, surrounded by his Six Chief Counselors. Minxet, Razputin, and the others found themselves unable to look away from him, their eyes filled with awe and wonder.
They had witnessed the colossal Alter-Ego manifestation of the Scarlet King and could scarcely comprehend the depths of his strength. To them, he was no different from a divine god. Just standing in his presence was enough to make them feel a deep sense of reverence.
“Report on the current state of Aether,” Cain commanded sharply, his voice cutting through the air with decisive authority.
The counselors snapped out of their astonished stupor. The order had come so suddenly that they did not even have time to think. One by one, they began spouting data.
Though Cain could have easily projected his mind across the entire world using the power of his evolved World King Avatar and Ego Wave, he chose to hear their accounts personally. He knew the counselors had worked tirelessly in his absence, and he wanted to give them the opportunity to present their achievements.
Before his departure, Cain had ordered them to maintain absolute order and ensure that no dark organizations emerged to exploit the power vacuum left behind by the exodus of the Thirteen Stars of Doomsday and the warriors who had departed with them.
Each counselor spoke in turn, detailing the state of the continents and the progress of diplomatic relations among the six Sacred Races. They confirmed that no dark organizations had risen to power, new emperors had successfully replaced those who left, and stability had been maintained throughout the empires. Additionally, the number of hybrids continued to increase each year, proving that the dissolution of racial divides was progressing well.
As Cain listened, a pleased smile slowly spread across his face. His satisfaction was evident, and the growing warmth in his expression eased the tension in the room.
Once the final report had been delivered, Cain nodded approvingly. “Excellent work. You have done very well in my absence.”
The Six Chief Counselors straightened with pride upon hearing his words. For them, receiving praise from the Scarlet King himself was an acknowledgment of their dedication and hard work.
However, Cain was not finished.
The next moment, spheres of flames, each glowing with 31 different colors, appeared above the heads of the six counselors. These flames descended upon them, flooding their bodies with an immense surge of power, both inside and out.
Then, an ocean of world energy surged into them—far more than any of them could have handled under normal circumstances. However, none needed to worry, for Cain personally guided and controlled the enhancement process, ensuring their safety.
Having achieved Mind and Body as One and ascended to the level of a Prima Deity, Cain’s mental faculties had reached an unprecedented level. Performing six simultaneous 31-Revolution Refinements was effortless for him.
The tribulation enhancement process did not take long. Once it was complete, the counselors’ eyes glowed with astonishment as they felt an immense boost in their talents and cultivation potential.
Though they were not warriors by nature, having powerful cultivation bases granted them longer lifespans and greater resilience, which was invaluable in their roles. The enhancement had elevated their potential to new heights, and they were beyond grateful for this gift.
“Thank you for this blessing, Scarlet King!”
All six counselors immediately bowed, lowering their heads by more than ninety degrees as a sign of deep gratitude and respect.

Cain merely smiled. “Great work deserves great rewards.”
He gestured for them to rise before continuing. “Minxet and Razputin remain behind. The rest of you may leave.”
