Chapter 1623: Resurrecting Anark (II)
Cain shook his head, and a meaningful light appeared in his eyes. “They still have use. Just gather them all in one place. Call it an emergency meeting, using my arrival as the excuse. I will take care of the rest.”
Razputin had no idea what the Scarlet King planned to do, but he understood it was not his place to question his lord’s decisions. He immediately bowed respectfully and departed with Minxet, leaving Cain alone in thoughtful silence.
Once the chamber was empty, Cain glanced downward through the layers of the Tower of Babel. On a lower floor stood Shura, Astrid, Magnus, and Rylanor. Wide smiles filled their faces, excitement sparkling brightly in their eyes as they celebrated his return.
Cain couldn’t help but let a tender smile cross his face as he gazed lovingly upon his wife and children, feeling warmth within his heart.
However, that affectionate moment quickly faded, replaced by a steely resolve. A cold, sharp intensity returned to his gaze as he quietly whispered, “Not yet.”
Without wasting another second, Cain’s figure vanished instantaneously. Teleporting millions of kilometers across Aether in mere moments, he reappeared on an entirely different continent. He hovered quietly above Amazon, the majestic floating island that served as the capital city and pride of the Deus Behemoth Race.
Cain’s presence remained completely undetectable. He gazed intently at the sealed portal beneath him—the gateway that led directly to the Astral Bloodline Realm. Ordinarily, this portal would remain closed for a considerable length of time, denying access even to the strongest cultivators of the world.
But now, Cain was no longer bound by these mundane restrictions. He was already a Prima Deity, his abilities surpassing the constraints of those rules. With a simple thought, a powerful Ego Wave surged outward from his consciousness, piercing effortlessly through the sealed gateway.
In a fraction of a second, Cain’s mind traversed dimensions, reaching deep within the Astral Bloodline Realm. Or rather, more accurately, it reached the colossal remains of Anark, the Primordial.
Even now, despite having risen to such unprecedented heights himself, Cain was still amazed at the sheer enormity and magnificence of Anark’s corpse. It had formed an entire plane by itself, a realm vast beyond imagination.
“During his peak, Anark must have been an Archdeity—or perhaps even something greater,” Cain murmured softly in awe, deeply respectful of the Primordial’s immense former power.
He quickly focused his attention, channeling his Ego Wave deep into the Primordial’s remains. It did not take long before Cain sensed Anark’s dormant soul, quietly hidden within the corpse’s core.
The strain of previously imparting the Primordial Inheritance of Spirit and awakening Cain’s Primordial Path had severely depleted Anark’s soul, causing it to enter a prolonged state of dormancy to recover.
Cain did not intend to wait passively. He came with a purpose.
His eyes glowed brightly, flames flickering as the profound Concept of Life flowed from his mind into the dormant soul of the Primordial. Patiently, Cain nourished Anark’s essence, carefully and steadily strengthening it. Hours slipped by quietly, each moment enhancing Anark’s dormant soul.
Finally, a voice softly echoed within Cain’s mind. “I… am awake?”
The words were hazy and filled with confusion at first, carrying the unmistakable grogginess of deep sleep. But within moments, clarity returned, and Anark spoke once more with recognition. “Ah, boy… you have returned.”
Cain smiled genuinely, relieved and happy to hear the Primordial’s voice again. He had never forgotten the immense debt he owed Anark. If it hadn’t been for the Primordial’s timely aid, Cain would have perished under the devious schemes of the Soul King.
“I have come to repay my debt,” Cain said solemnly, respect clear in his voice. “I intend to help you fully resurrect.”
The Primordial’s soul stirred powerfully at those words, completely waking from his lethargy. Anark carefully examined Cain’s Ego Wave, astonishment soon overtaking his initial surprise.
“You have already reached the Third Realm?” Anark asked, genuinely shocked. “It’s barely been a century since our last encounter, and back then you were still within the Physical Realm!”
The Primordial was truly amazed by Cain’s progress. Although he had always known the young cultivator was exceptionally talented, reaching the Third Realm in such a short span was extraordinary, even by the highest standards.
Cain couldn’t suppress a faint smile, feeling genuinely honored to receive such praise from an ancient entity like Anark. Quickly regaining composure, Anark shifted his focus and spoke again, this time with cautious curiosity.
“I am deeply grateful and happy that you want to aid my resurrection,” Anark stated warmly, sincerity evident in his tone. “But tell me, how exactly do you plan to achieve such a complicated feat?”
Although Anark trusted Cain wholeheartedly, resurrection was an intricate and fragile process, especially for a being of his magnitude. Ensuring the plan’s perfection and identifying potential flaws were crucial.
Cain did not take offense at Anark’s caution; instead, he patiently explained his carefully designed strategy.
“I will use a unique power known as the Gu Path, which I obtained from an enemy. With this technique, I will divide your soul into millions of seeds, dispersing them into specialized vessels explicitly crafted to accommodate your essence. Over time, your spirit will strengthen and gradually absorb these vessels from within, piece by piece becoming stronger and more complete. Eventually, all these fragments will merge back into one powerful soul. This unified soul will then inhabit a soulless vessel, allowing you to fully reforge your physical form.”
As Cain detailed every step, he simultaneously sent precise waves of knowledge and insight directly into Anark’s consciousness, ensuring the Primordial grasped every intricate detail of the resurrection process.
Anark silently absorbed and analyzed each point. After a few thoughtful minutes, he responded earnestly, admiration clearly audible in his tone.
“Your plan is truly a work of art. Every step is meticulously crafted, and that Gu Path you’ve described appears to be the perfect instrument for resurrection. I find no flaw whatsoever in your approach—except for one vital issue.”

Anark hesitated briefly, his voice growing more complex and heavy with thoughtfulness.
“My soul cannot simply be placed inside an ordinary vessel. Even the body of a Prima Deity would be utterly insufficient to withstand the vastness of my soul. Moreover, if I attempt resurrection in a random body or corpse, I risk losing crucial elements of my Primordial heritage—something I cannot allow.”
Despite appreciating Cain’s meticulous strategy, Anark was unwilling to sacrifice his Primordial legacy merely to expedite his resurrection.
But Cain’s expression never wavered in confidence. Instead of showing disappointment, he calmly smiled and replied reassuringly.
“I know an ordinary body won’t suffice for your resurrection. But tell me, Anark… what if, instead of a fleshy body, we used an entire world?”
