The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1627
Chapter 1627: Family trip
“BOOM!”
Immediately, a burst of energy surged violently through Cain’s body, filling him with immense strength. It took several seconds before the energy finally stabilized, settling into a powerful yet manageable flow.
“Excellent.” Cain allowed a satisfied smile to spread across his face as he felt the profound improvements to both his body and soul from consuming Anark’s colossal corpse. However, he knew it would take months if not years for the Scarlet Throne to assimilate it.
Quickly, Cain refocused his attention, taking a deep breath as his energy surged once more. His Ego Wave and Essence Origin expanded, flooding the sky where Amazon once floated. Under the combined force of Cain’s immense psychic power and his dominion over Elemental Laws, a new floating city slowly began to rise.
A full day passed as Cain meticulously rebuilt Amazon, painstakingly replicating every detail of the former floating city. Soon, a perfect replica hovered gracefully where the original had been—identical in every aspect except for the Sacred Bloodline Realm beneath it.
“Return to your homes,” Cain commanded softly, turning toward the hypnotized lifeforms on the enormous platform he had created.
Upon hearing his words, the inhabitants obediently began ascending the stairways back to the restored city. Naturally, some of the more powerful individuals might sense differences in the city’s structure or energy flow, but Cain was content to leave the handling of such issues to Wanton, the Chief Counselor of the Deus Behemoth Race.
After ensuring that everything was in order and no one was left behind, Cain vanished instantly from the Hyperion Continent. A moment later, he appeared once again high above the Tower of Babel.
With a gentle wave of his hand, four familiar figures appeared before him, their expressions filled with surprise and anticipation.
“Father!” Rylanor and Magnus cried out simultaneously, excitement sparkling in their youthful eyes.
“Husband,” Astrid and Shura whispered warmly, their gazes softening with love and relief upon seeing Cain’s face once more after all these years.
Cain greeted them all with an affectionate smile, opening his arms to warmly embrace his wives and children.
In that tender moment, surrounded by his family, Cain felt as though he stood in a gentle river, the soothing current washing away the fatigue and strain accumulated from years of relentless conflict and bloodshed.
Even for Cain, whose willpower burned perpetually like a brilliant star, such peaceful moments of respite were essential.
The embrace lasted several comforting minutes before Cain reluctantly released them. He gazed lovingly into their faces, engraving each of their smiles deeply into his heart. He knew, without doubt, that those smiles would become the strength he would need during long periods of isolated cultivation or large periods of bloodshed.
“Dad, how long will you stay this time?” Rylanor finally asked, voicing the question that had been on everyone’s mind, though none had dared speak it aloud.
Cain looked gently at his son before responding honestly, “Actually, I’m leaving immediately. I still have many tasks awaiting me.”
At those words, a visible disappointment clouded the eyes of Astrid, Shura, Magnus, and Rylanor. However, before the sadness could fully set in, Cain quickly continued, “But this time, I’m taking you four with me.”
Stunned silence briefly overtook his family, their eyes wide in astonishment at his unexpected announcement.
Although the two women and the children had always longed to see the legendary Nine Suns Empyrean Universe, none had ever openly expressed that desire. Each was acutely aware of their special status—they were the family of the Scarlet King, but also a vulnerability to him, soft spots that enemies might exploit.
On Aether, Cain could guarantee their safety regardless of any threat, but outside this protected realm, dangers multiplied exponentially.
Cain himself had been repeatedly forced into life-threatening battles since stepping onto the Everstrife Empyrean World, often narrowly escaping death. Bringing his loved ones along under such perilous circumstances would have been both reckless and irresponsible.
However, now things have changed significantly. Cain had ascended, becoming a Prima Deity. While far from invincible, his newfound strength was more than sufficient to protect his family effectively, even amidst the endless dangers of the greater universe.
Smiling warmly at their stunned faces, Cain waved his hand once more, and all five vanished from Aether without a trace.
An overwhelming pressure immediately assaulted Astrid, Shura, Rylanor, and Magnus as they appeared within the chaotic void outside their world.
The endless waves of chaotic energy that surged violently through this dimension made it difficult for them to move or breathe. Yet, barely a moment later, Cain effortlessly summoned a powerful force field, swiftly dispelling the overwhelming pressure and shielding his family from harm.
Rylanor and Magnus gazed in awe at the terrifying storm of chaotic energy that crashed relentlessly against the protective barrier without penetrating it.
“Cool,” whispered Magnus breathlessly.
“Awesome,” echoed Rylanor, his voice filled with admiration as they stared proudly at their father. To them, Cain’s effortless command over such devastating forces was beyond awe-inspiring.
Cain chuckled softly at his sons’ genuine amazement but suddenly shifted his gaze toward a distant point in the chaotic expanse. “Oh? It seems we have a ride,” he murmured, an amused light flashing in his eyes. “How convenient.”

Astrid, Shura, and the children looked confused for a moment, unsure of Cain’s meaning, until suddenly, a massive creature surged rapidly toward them through the turbulent void. It resembled an extraordinary combination of fish and eagle, immense in size, and each mighty flap of its enormous wings scattered powerful waves of chaotic energy across space.
The sight of such a terrifying creature startled the women and children. Yet, as shocked as they were, the Void Creature appeared equally intrigued by them—particularly Magnus and Rylanor, whose unique energy radiated intensely.
An insatiable hunger gleamed in the creature’s eyes, recognizing the profound benefits it would gain from devouring these special children.
Yet, as the colossal Void Creature’s gaze finally settled upon Cain himself, absolute terror overwhelmed its soul. The immense beast froze mid-flight, utterly paralyzed by sheer primal fear.
