Chapter 1641: Bow before the Scarlet King!
Pation’s eyes widened in shock and absolute horror as, the very next instant, an enormous red gate as large as a continent manifested behind Cain.
He had heard tales of this dreadful construct from the Divine Transcendence Masters who survived the Gu Contest, but witnessing it firsthand was an entirely different experience.
The Inferno Daemon had lived a perilous life, continuously clashing against countless nightmares, yet that crimson gate was undoubtedly the most terrifying entity he had ever encountered. Every instinct in his body screamed danger, warning him that whatever lurked beyond that scarlet threshold was infinitely worse than death itself.
Cain observed the massive gravity dragon’s stunned expression with cold satisfaction and raised his halberd, causing the gate to emit a sinister glow. He had hoped not to rely on the Scarlet Throne so soon, but Pation proved far more challenging than anticipated, forcing his hand early.
Immediately, streams of potent energy surged forth from the gate, infused with primordial might and an eerie, corruptive spiritual force. These forces stemmed from Anark’s formidable corpse and Reverend Madness’s tormented soul, both now integral to the Scarlet Throne’s power.
The destructive energy flowing into Cain caused his strength to explode to previously unimaginable levels. Cracks formed along the massive arms of the Lord of Conquest Leviathan, the intense pressure nearly shattering even his formidable body. Despite the pain, Cain’s eyes blazed fiercely with a relentless killing intent, utterly determined to see this through.
Cain knew that this next attack could very well annihilate Pation completely. While he preferred keeping the Inferno Daemon alive as a subordinate, if Pation proved too stubborn to submit, Cain wouldn’t hesitate to trap his soul permanently.
After all, Pation’s heart held exactly what Cain required for the further evolution of his Indestructible Herculean Technique.
“Wait!” Pation shouted suddenly, interrupting Cain’s devastating charge. Without delay, the towering Inferno Daemon returned to his humanoid form, raising his hands slightly in a gesture of reluctant surrender.
Cain’s eyes narrowed sharply. Although he halted the attack temporarily, he refused to lower his weapon, maintaining an icy, vigilant gaze locked onto Pation.
The Inferno Daemon sighed deeply before finally speaking, resignation clear in his voice. “As long as there are benefits, I’m willing to acknowledge you as the King of the Gu Sect.”
Cain’s eyes immediately flashed with golden brilliance, and through the power of The Flow, he quickly assessed the sincerity of Pation’s words. He saw no true loyalty within the Inferno Daemon’s heart, merely a potent mixture of fear and begrudging respect.
“Fear and respect are sufficient for now. I can mold him from here.” With that understanding, Cain slowly redirected the energy flowing through him back into the Scarlet Throne, causing the enormous crimson gate to fade away, vanishing as quickly as it appeared.
In mere moments, he returned smoothly to his humanoid form, casually dismissing the overwhelming aura of death he’d previously unleashed.
“Good,” Cain said calmly, his voice firm but noticeably less aggressive. “Serve me well, and I promise you a suitable sword.”
Pation’s eyes sharpened slightly upon hearing Cain’s promise. Although skeptical, he nodded silently, choosing not to voice his doubts.
Without further delay, Cain and Pation descended swiftly from the void, reappearing high above the Gu Sect.
Once Cain hovered steadily over the city, he waved his hand, causing the massive protective force field surrounding the sect to disperse harmlessly into the air.
Cain then glanced meaningfully at Pation. The Inferno Daemon sighed again, clearly exhausted from the intense battle and the weight of submission, before silently taking his place atop the highest tower alongside Karter and Lancer. Silence engulfed the entire Gu Sect as all eyes locked onto Cain, waiting breathlessly for his next command.
Cain raised one hand skyward, his authoritative voice booming loudly enough to make the heavens themselves tremble.
“Bow before the Scarlet King!”
The powerful command reverberated deeply through the minds and souls of everyone present. Within moments, every cultivator in the Gu Sect knelt obediently on the ground, bowing their heads submissively.
Of course, the three Third Realm Masters did not fully kneel; instead, they respectfully lowered their heads in acknowledgment. Pation merely offered a shallow but respectful bow.
Cain quickly noticed these differences in behavior. Through The Flow, he clearly sensed the emotions and intentions radiating from each cultivator. Most felt only fear toward him—certainly not the strongest foundation for a prosperous, long-term organization. However, fear would suffice as a starting point.
Cain didn’t dwell too much on these issues. Right now, his mind was rapidly entering a profound state of enlightenment. He had successfully reached the stage of Mind and Body as One, fully stepping into the Third Realm as a Prima Deity, but this was merely the beginning of the next step on his path.
Conquering such an enormous Lord-tier organization greatly enhanced his mastery over the Path of Conquest, the foundational force within his Ego Eternal Path of Power. This victory not only stabilized his position but also expanded his comprehension of conquest to new heights.
After a few moments, Cain regained full clarity, his sharp gaze now returning firmly onto the three Third Realm Masters before him. When he spoke again, the icy coldness in his voice made the trio feel as if their very blood had frozen in their veins.
“Bring me to that whore.”
Pation, Lancer, and Karter knew instantly that Cain referred to none other than Marlin. They could all easily imagine that whatever fate awaited the woman would undoubtedly be worse than death itself. Nevertheless, none felt particularly inclined to intercede on her behalf.

Although they had collaborated with Marlin for a very long time, her abrasive personality and arrogant mentality prevented any of them from forming a meaningful relationship with her.
Secretly, they blamed her reckless actions for bringing this calamity upon them all. In their view, her pathetic decision to hunt down a young Soul Realm Master—and failing spectacularly at that—was the ultimate humiliation and the primary reason they had fallen so low.
“She’s recovering in the subterranean level, submerged within the Pool of Golden Blood,” Karter quickly revealed to Cain.
Yet, as soon as the words left his lips, Karter felt a terrifying chill run down his spine. Cain’s merciless eyes locked onto him instantly, cold and emotionless like an endless abyss ready to consume his very soul.
