Chapter 1674: Ten ArchDeities united in purpose?
Alucard found himself momentarily at a complete loss for words. Throughout his countless years of existence, he had never encountered a scene as bizarre and unsettling as this. Cain had not only discovered his most deeply guarded secret but openly revealed that he shared the very same secret himself.

It took several moments for Alucard, the revered Grand Elder of the Eclipse School, to regain his composure. His eyes narrowed thoughtfully, their sharp intensity returning as he finally spoke in a calm, controlled voice.

“What exactly are you seeking?”

Cain’s gentle smile persisted, but a meaningful and peculiar glint flashed through his eyes as he looked at Alucard directly.

“I seek friends,” Cain said sincerely, his tone measured yet resolute. “People who share my vision of the future.”

At this point, Cain paused briefly, allowing his words to settle into the room’s atmosphere. His smile gradually faded, replaced by a more solemn and serious expression.

“Can I ask,” Cain continued cautiously, his voice carrying genuine curiosity, “what happened to Leorio’s mother?”

It was clear to Cain that Alucard deeply loved his son and seemed untroubled by the hybrid nature of his heritage. However, before continuing any deeper alliance, Cain required a thorough understanding of the circumstances surrounding Leorio’s conception and his mother’s fate.

Alucard gazed at Cain silently for several moments, collecting his scattered memories, before finally letting out a deep sigh filled with profound sadness and an overwhelming sense of longing.

“I met her long ago,” Alucard began, his voice steady yet tinged with sorrow. “At the time, I was severely wounded, so much so that even a cultivator in the Physical Realm could have ended my life with ease. By fate’s grace, she was the one who discovered me first.”

A faint smile appeared briefly on Alucard’s lips as he recalled her, yet the sadness reflected in his eyes deepened further, overshadowing his fleeting happiness.

“Despite being a Godslayer Human, she treated me with kindness, compassion, and care greater than anyone else had ever shown me, including those I called friends. She diligently tended my wounds and patiently nursed me back to health. Even after my body fully healed, I stayed at her side, and gradually, love blossomed between us.”

Alucard paused briefly, his gaze distant and reflective.

“Because of my power and cultivation, having a child was immensely challenging. Still, knowing it was her greatest wish, I used every resource at my disposal. Eventually, after countless trials, a miracle occurred. We had Leorio.”

His eyes darkened once more, and his voice trembled subtly with renewed grief.

“Unfortunately, by then she had entered the twilight of her life. Only a few years after Leorio was born, her life slowly faded away.”

Cain’s eyes glowed subtly with a golden light as he carefully analyzed each of Alucard’s words. Although cultivators at the Third Realm were skilled enough to deceive emotional detection techniques like The Flow in brief moments, maintaining such deception through a prolonged emotional recollection was impossible. Thus, Cain was confident Alucard spoke nothing but the truth.

“How unfortunate,” Cain murmured to himself. “Had she been alive today, I could have assisted her in achieving rebirth, restoring her lifespan entirely.”

Cain wasn’t particularly moved by Alucard’s heartfelt story. It wasn’t because he lacked compassion or empathy, but simply because he hardly knew Alucard, had never met the woman and was not an emotional little girl. Nonetheless, the story had served its purpose perfectly, providing Cain with precisely the insight he sought and making his decision simpler.

“Tell me,” Cain continued softly, his tone subtly persuasive, “wouldn’t you desire a world where your son doesn’t have to hide his true heritage? A world where he could proudly speak his mother’s name openly, without fear of persecution or discrimination?”

Alucard’s mind abruptly snapped out of his painful memories, his sharp eyes immediately refocusing on Cain. Within Cain’s hypnotic gaze, he saw a vision of an ideal world, a place where Leorio could freely embrace both halves of his lineage. However, reality swiftly intruded upon the fantasy.

Alucard sighed heavily, shaking his head.

“Ah, even if I were to become an ArchDeity, such a world would remain beyond reach. Our culture’s biases run far too deep. Even those at the Third Realm, who ostensibly care little about such matters, cling to the status quo.”

Cain smiled knowingly and nodded slowly, satisfied that Alucard fully grasped the immense challenges facing anyone who attempted to reshape society—even those with unrivaled power.

“You are correct, of course,” Cain conceded calmly. “But what if you were not alone? What if it wasn’t merely a single ArchDeity calling for change, but two—or even ten ArchDeities united in purpose?”

Alucard’s eyes widened slightly, a brief tremor flickering through his composure as he imagined Cain’s scenario. Before he could recover fully, Cain pressed further.

“And suppose those ten ArchDeities had the unwavering support of a hundred Prima Deities who shared their convictions. Would the world truly refuse to change under such overwhelming influence?”

The tremor running through Alucard’s body intensified, and the glow in his eyes grew brighter and more resolute. He stared at the extraordinary young man sitting calmly before him, unable to suppress a shudder of awe as he contemplated the scale and audacity of Cain’s grand vision.

Alucard remained silent, however, cautious in his response. Cain’s proposal was extraordinarily dangerous, something that would make them direct enemies of countless powerful entities. Reckless commitment could prove catastrophic.

Cain felt no need to push further. He could see clearly that the seed of desire and ambition had already been planted deep within Alucard’s heart.

“Well, that’s all I wished to discuss today,” Cain finally said, rising gracefully. “I must return to my sect now. However, before I leave, bring your son to me. I will evolve his Leviathan Shadow into a Royal Scarlet Leviathan Seed. As a Prima Genetic Coder, I can also fully conceal his hybrid lineage. Not even other Prima Deities will detect his true heritage.”

Alucard’s previously tense expression relaxed into genuine relief and appreciation. A subtle smile appeared on his lips, as he fully recognized the magnitude of Cain’s offer. The coming Omega War would undoubtedly involve countless formidable experts, many capable of detecting Leorio’s hybrid nature. But if Cain truly possessed Prima-level Genetic Coding skills, such fears would vanish completely.
