Chapter 1677: Everybody present
Although this was the first time Cain had seen the man in person, thanks to the stolen memories of Marlin and the Sorcerer, he immediately recognized the figure standing at the head of the luminous army. He was Auramyth, the leader of the Luminark Enclave, a Lord Tier Organization from the Endlesslight Continent.

Auramyth’s piercing gaze met Cain’s the moment he sensed the Godslayer Human’s eyes upon him. Immense divine power radiated from the Deus Behemoth’s form, and though no words were exchanged and they stood hundreds of kilometers apart, an intense and silent exchange began between the two apex predators.

The very air between them grew dense. Storm clouds surged in the skies above, reflecting the clash of titanic wills.

Members of both the Gu Sect and the Luminark Enclave sensed the rising tension immediately. Their expressions grew solemn, sharpened by instinct, but none made a move. All waited, breath held, to see how the confrontation between their two leaders would unfold.

Though silent, the duel of presence continued to escalate. Cain’s aura rose in tandem with Auramyth’s until behind the Deus Behemoth emerged the celestial figure of a gargantuan divine beast—brilliant and glorious, a manifestation of light and dominion. In contrast, a massive draconic-serpentine demon overlord unfurled behind Cain, its monstrous form coiling through the air like a living nightmare forged of darkness and conquest.

The scene was on the verge of eruption.

And then, in perfect unison, Cain and Auramyth broke eye contact and turned their gazes to the horizon.

Something—or someone—approached.

From the far distance came hundreds of thousands of Divine Cultivators, their arrival like a tidal wave of brilliance. Yet neither Cain nor Auramyth paid much attention to the foot soldiers. Their eyes instead fell on those at the vanguard—six Prima Deities, leading the charge.

It wasn’t hard to determine who among them held the highest authority.

She was a member of the Legio Eldritch Race, and her very presence radiated divine sovereignty. She resembled a celestial matron of the beyond—serene, incomprehensible, and sovereign over the very essence of life after death. Her figure was draped in flowing robes woven from cosmic silver and deep violet threads, inscribed with soul glyphs and sacred geometry that shimmered as if alive.

Her face was veiled by ever-shifting tendrils, and a crown-like bone structure emerged from her skull, adorned with glowing violet soul-gems. From her back extended a multitude of serpentine, ethereal tentacles—not grotesque, but graceful, like divine extensions of her soul. Her eyes glowed with a light that seemed to pierce through reality itself, as though seeing across timelines and dimensions.

Hovering around her were wisps of soul-light—ghostly spirits that clung to her presence like stars to a galaxy. Some floated freely, while others rested within her elongated fingers, gently cradled as if they were the last fragments of dying worlds.

She was beautiful, terrifying, and divine in a way that made even the other Prima Deities pause.

But what truly drew the awe and solemnity from Cain and Auramyth was not her presence—it was the violet gem embedded in her forehead, glowing like a singularity of soul energy.

“Nullavir, Queen of the Forgotten Name.”

That title echoed through Cain’s thoughts like a whisper. His instincts roared even louder than they had in his standoff with Auramyth.

Nullavir hailed from the Shadowcradle Continent, the third and most mysterious of the domains under Divine Calamity Heaven’s rule. She led the Noctis Spire Monarchy.

Unlike the Everlife and Endlesslight Continents, the Shadowcradle had a more rigid hierarchy. Though other Lord Tier Organizations existed there, the Noctis Spire Monarchy held undisputed dominance—owning the largest territory and producing warriors of terrifying caliber.

Cain and Auramyth exchanged another look before simultaneously retracting their auras. Nullavir’s presence was not to be taken lightly. They did not fear her—but neither did they trust her.

Though they all served under the banner of Divine Calamity Heaven, alliances were built on familiarity and experience—not mere allegiance. Trust among Lord Tier leaders was a fragile thing.

Nullavir glanced at both Cain and Auramyth. She sensed the tension, the readiness to strike if necessary, but she only smiled faintly, unbothered. Without a word, she led her forces down to the land beside the Sea of Misfortune, positioning them away from either faction.

Silence reigned once again, fragile but intact.

That stillness didn’t last long.

Soon, new forces arrived—not just one, but two Lord Tier Organizations, making their appearance simultaneously. However, any assumption that this shared arrival implied unity would be a grave miscalculation.

The banners of the Golden Star Kingdom and the Eclipse School fluttered in the storm-charged winds. At the forefront of the Golden Star Kingdom stood Martin, the Crown Prince, while Alucard led the forces of the Eclipse School.

Even at a glance, it was clear the two men were mere seconds away from striking one another. Their eyes locked, each gaze filled with restrained animosity and the tension of past conflicts.

The moment they arrived, both turned their eyes toward Cain.

Martin’s expression twisted in visible disgust. Though he too was a Godslayer Human, his eyes burned with hatred and loathing that caused his body to tremble. There was no forgetting the humiliation Cain had inflicted upon him less than a year ago, nor the countless lives lost to the Gu Sect’s devastating assault.

In stark contrast, Alucard wore a faint, peaceful smile as his gaze met Cain’s. Despite their differing racial origins, a subtle understanding had been born between them.

Cain, for his part, regarded Martin’s burning hatred with complete indifference. His only response was a respectful nod to Alucard. Then, with calm certainty, he stood tall once more, his mind honed to a razor’s edge, prepared for anything.

As the hours passed, more and more armies arrived from all directions. Eventually, every Lord Tier Organization from the Everlife, Endlesslight, and Shadowcradle Continents had assembled at the Sea of Misfortune.

The air itself shimmered with overwhelming energy. The sheer number of Prima Deities present caused the fabric of reality to warp and pulse. The Laws twisted erratically in the atmosphere, disturbed by the collision of so many cosmic forces. The sky changed color, pulsing from silver to violet to crimson, mirroring the chaos brewing below.

Each Prima Deity exuded energy on par with a radiant star—and now, there were dozens gathered in one place. It was a convergence of power unlike anything the Empyrean World had seen in millions of years.
