Chapter 1678: Divine Calamity Heaven’s trio
Silence reigned over the Sea of Misfortune. None of the Lord Tier Organizations were in the mood for conversation, not even those who, under different circumstances, might have shared cordial relationships. Despite the fact that they would all be fighting under the banner of Divine Calamity Heaven, they were far from united. Every leader present understood one cold, indisputable truth.

They were not allies. They were competitors.

If any of them made a mistake or showed weakness, they could easily be seen as expendable. Divine Calamity would not hesitate to sacrifice an entire Lord Tier Organization if it meant securing victory in the Omega War.

That meant that every single organization would be striving to be the best and push the others down.

The old saying that “the calm before the storm is the most harrowing part of war” proved true here. The solemn expressions of the millions of Divine Cultivators gathered made it clear—they all felt it. The pressure. The uncertainty. The silent anticipation before fate was sealed.

Fortunately, the waiting did not last long.

Suddenly, the sky above them shattered like broken glass, and from the jagged void formed a dark portal the size of a small city. Cain’s Royal Supernova Space-Time Eye widened as he focused on the anomaly. The mastery over the Laws displayed within that portal was dozens of times more advanced than anything he had yet achieved.

He didn’t know where the other end of the portal led, but one thing was certain—it was not anywhere on the Everlife Continent.

Still, those thoughts became irrelevant the moment they began to descend.

From the heart of the rift, a group emerged—led by no other than Divine Calamity himself.

The presence of an ArchDeity was already overwhelming, his aura eclipsing everything else on the battlefield. The sheer magnitude of it rendered time and space brittle in his wake. But as Cain and the other Prima Deities adapted to the pressure, their eyes locked onto the three figures following him.

Only three.

And yet, their auras burned brighter than cosmic stars. Their presence alone surpassed nearly every Prima Deity gathered at the Sea of Misfortune.

Even Alucard, who had reached the Late Prima Deity Rank in the Astral Rebirth Path of Power, could barely measure up. It was immediately clear—these were monsters, beings who stood just one step below the ArchDeity himself.

Unsurprisingly, all three belonged to the Dark Races, just like Divine Calamity, who was part of the Atrox Immortus Race.

The first was a breathtakingly fierce woman of the Hell Clan, one of the Inferno Daemon bloodlines. She resembled a demonic war goddess, forged in flame and honed in blood.

She stood tall and commanding, every motion exuding calculated dominance. In her grip was a glowing, demonic blade pulsing with molten magic and blood-force—its fiery pink-and-white core radiated like a cursed star born in the abyss.

Her crimson eyes blazed with wrath and precision, cutting through darkness like twin suns of fury. Two curved obsidian horns crowned her head, while her long black hair whipped like an infernal banner in the wind.

From her back extended colossal bat-like wings—torn, ancient, and dread-inducing. Above her floated a blazing red eclipse sigil, carved from living arcane flame.

By her side stood a being who might have been mistaken for a shadow deity from a forgotten epoch—a man from the Abyssal Clan.

This man was towering and impossibly muscular. His obsidian-black skin shimmered with celestial etchings—arcane runes and symbols of lost cosmic languages.

He wore flowing robes woven from shadow itself, layered with golden chains and sacred adornments. His eyes were like neutron stars and two jagged, black horns pierced skyward from it, glowing against the backdrop of a blue-white halo. Ethereal blue smoke leaked from his body, warping the air around him. Light bent, and sound faltered. He was a presence that reality itself struggled to contain.

But it was the third figure who drew the most attention—and not just because of his overwhelming power.

Even before Cain’s Law of Life-tuned senses fully examined him, he felt a profound connection—a link to Divine Calamity himself. This was no mere follower.

This was Divine Calamity’s son!

A hybrid of Atrox Immortal and Inferno Daemon Races, the man’s bloodline sang with inherited power.

He was a towering embodiment of infernal majesty, his muscular frame carved with precision, every sinew glowing with fiery cracks that pulse like molten veins beneath obsidian-black skin.

The hybrid’s crimson eyes blaze with destructive knowledge, and a wide, malevolent grin spreads across his face — not of madness, but of absolute confidence in his dominance.

Two massive, spiraling horns erupt from his skull, inscribed with glowing runes that seem to hum with cursed energy, and his long, wild white-silver hair flows like a celestial inferno caught in an endless storm.

Jagged, flame-laced wings stretch from his back. Surrounded by a storm of ash and glowing embers, his very presence distorts the air, as if reality itself bends to his will.

Cain knew at once: this man was a dual cultivator—not only proficient in the Laws but also a master of Star Power. And not just proficient—talented beyond compare.

A thousand thoughts raced through Cain’s mind, and no doubt the minds of the other Prima Deities gathered. Divine Calamity wasn’t just here to lead this war—he had brought his legacy, into the fray.

Still, instinct trumped curiosity. The moment Divine Calamity and his trio descended fully, every Prima Deity fell to one knee, performing a deep and formal bow toward the ArchDeity.

Even the proudest among them bowed their heads.

The presence of an ArchDeity was law made flesh.

Despite the display of submission from the most powerful beings of three continents, Divine Calamity’s expression remained aloof—cold, regal, and impassive. He didn’t acknowledge their reverence. He didn’t need to.

He merely glanced over the gathered armies, his eyes moving from the Luminark Enclave, to the Eclipse School, to the Golden Star Kingdom, the Gu Sect, the Noctis Spire Monarchy, and so on.

And then, with a voice like thunder channeled through divine fire, Divine Calamity spoke two words.

“Let’s go.”
