Chapter 1703: New Astral Supremacy Star
Without wasting a second, Cain vanished from the quiet town, leaving behind not even the faintest trace of his presence. In less than an hour, he returned to the Volcano Tree, heading directly to his secluded abode. Once inside, he forged a clone and teleported into the [Samsara Arsenal Module]’s Second Level.
The moment he reached the Second Level, Cain waved his hand, summoning the living body of the old man—now comatose, his ego shattered, but his body still full of vitality.
With cold precision, Cain injected two synthetic bloodlines into the old man’s body: replicas of his own Primordial Sun Bloodline and Royal Supernova Space-Time Bloodline.
These were not true versions, of course. They lacked the core resonance and cosmic power of the bloodlines flowing within Cain himself. But for experimentation, they were sufficient.
Cain inhaled a deep breath of Soul Enlightenment Mist, sharpening his mind and expanding his perception. His Ego Wave surged into the body of the inert Prima Deity, directly interfacing with the man’s genome.
“The goal is simple,” he thought. “Fuse two of the highest bloodlines into a single cohesive force.”
But the task was anything but simple.
Within an hour, the subject’s body began to tremble violently. His skin grayed and began to rot from the inside out, the result of catastrophic genetic rejection.
Cain reacted immediately, diving into the genome and manually rewriting it back to a stable foundational state. The man’s life was preserved—barely—but the damage was growing with every reset.
Still, Cain pressed on.
The process was repeated again and again over the course of several days. Each failure brought another moment of crisis. Each emergency forced Cain to refine his genetic coding skills further, pushing his limits and gaining new insights.
But finally, after nearly a full week, Cain was forced to pause.
“Ahhh,” he exhaled, eyes narrowing in frustration. “I need more trial runs… but if I go any further, he’ll die.”
His expression twisted in annoyance but gradually softened into acceptance.
“Still, I’ve improved. My precision is much better. That’s worth something.”
With a resolute breath, Cain teleported from the experimentation chamber into the Sacrificial Grounds, materializing in the grand castle at its center.
Without hesitation or mercy, he unleashed the full results of his last six months of conquest.
He offered up the comatose Prima Deity, the remains of Black Sand, hundreds of thousands of Divine Transformation and Divine Transcendence Masters, and millions of evil treasures—each one tainted with sin and karmic weight—to the Samsara Flame.
The flame roared with power as all offerings were consumed.
A flood of Fortune burst into the air, condensing into brilliant golden clouds that stretched across the ceiling of the castle. Cain watched intently as more than ninety percent of the Fortune condensed into a glowing orb suspended in midair.
A broad smile curled across his lips.
“So much Fortune for a single Gift… it must be a Tier Zero Gift.”
As the thought crossed his mind, filling him with thrill and anticipation, the remaining Fortune transformed into Merit, which shot into his right hand and fused with the Royal Rebirth Mark etched into his flesh.
The expansion of the runic formation was agony—pure, unfiltered spiritual pain. Cain clenched his teeth, endured the searing sensation until it finally subsided.
Though pale and slightly trembling, he laughed quietly to himself as he looked at his hand.
“At this rate, I’ll evolve it to Tier III soon enough.”
The Rebirth Mark, once evolved to Tier III, would grant Cain a pseudo-immortal body—a critical upgrade for high-level combat against entities that could erase matter and soul in an instant. That kind of resilience would be invaluable.
He turned his attention upward.
There floated the Gift—a magnificent and alien crystal-organ, dense and awe-inspiring. Roughly the size of a clenched fist, it hung suspended in layered gravitational pressure.
Its surface was made of jet-black obsidian, veined with glowing threads of deep violet and star-gold, constantly shifting like molten magma trapped in glass.

Three stellar rings orbited its shell, each one forged from hardened astral essence. They rotated slowly in opposite directions, etched with ancient star-script that rearranged itself based on the viewer’s spiritual affinity.
Cain didn’t hesitate.
He released his Ego Wave, letting it plunge into the heart of the organ.
His eyes widened in an instant.
Its weight defied its size—a sensation like clutching a fragment of a collapsed star. As soon as he branded it, the Gift flashed into his chest, piercing through his flesh and merging seamlessly into his Rebirth Heart, settling at its core.
“Congratulations,” intoned the voice of the Samsara Lord, echoing from within the flame. “You have obtained the Tier Zero Gift: Starflesh Obsidian Core. Forged from obsidian neutron marrow, it was harvested from a collapsed Astral Supremacy Star so dense it fractured space itself.”
But Cain barely heard the voice.
All his focus was on the treasure now embedded within his Sacred Organs. As his mind linked to it, full understanding poured into his soul.
“Once implanted into the Rebirth Heart,” Cain thought, “it acts as a hyper-dense gravitational core, drawing all energy inward and compressing it into dense, ultra-potent Astral Origin.”
That alone was incredible.
But it didn’t stop there.
“It also reinforces my entire body with obsidian-tempered Star Power, creating a physique that can endure—and unleash—unimaginable force.”
Cain’s exhilaration grew exponentially as he felt the Starflesh Obsidian Core activate. It took hold of every stream of Astral Origin flowing through his flesh and blood, compressing, tempering, and refining it before releasing it back into his system.
Immediately, Cain felt a spike in cultivation power surge through him. His eyes lit up, and without hesitation, he teleported out of the Sacrificial Ground, appearing high in the sky of the Second Level.
There, under the starlit sky, he closed his eyes.
His aura pulsed once—and then flared violently.
The compressed Astral Origin had triggered the evolution of his Astral Rebirth Path of Power, pushing it fully into the Divine Transcendence Rank.
The implications were vast, but the most important of all was the ability to gain a new Astral Supremacy Star.
