Chapter 1707: Greatest treasures of Divine Calamity Heaven
“BOOM!”

A thunderous explosion of psychic energy erupted from within Cain’s body, radiating outward in every direction and shaking the very air. The blast tore through the atmosphere like a storm of divine force. All the exhaustion from the recent Spiritual Tribulation Enhancement vanished in an instant, erased by the overwhelming surge of power that now coursed through him.

The might of the Lord of Conquest Leviathan had returned to its peak within his core.

“Excellent… now I am truly at full power!” Cain roared, clenching his fists. A new wave of energy surged from him, and his full cultivation was released in a destructive pulse that caused the earth to tremble.

But amidst his exhilaration, Cain’s sharp focus returned. He turned his gaze toward the spirit form of the Lord of Conquest Leviathan, observing closely. While the Thirty-Six Revolutions Flame had healed its physical wounds and restored stability, it hadn’t provided any visible increase in power.

“It makes sense,” Cain muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing in thought. “A Thirty-Six Revolutions Flame possesses the potential of a lifeform at the bottom of the Prime Deity Rank. Leviathan’s strength and potential, however, crossed that threshold long ago.”

Cain wasn’t disappointed—he had anticipated such an outcome. Perhaps if he could refine a Thirty-Seventh Revolution Flame, it might spark some evolution in Leviathan’s capabilities.

“If I truly seek improvement, I need to evolve my Tribulation Enhancer abilities to the Arch-Deity Rank. Only then will I unlock real progress.”

With his thoughts aligned, Cain took a long, calming breath. His disguise as Jarkal returned, cloaking his form once more as he left the [Samsara Arsenal Module]. With a thought, the clone he had summoned earlier vanished into smoke. Sitting cross-legged upon the rocky ground, Cain pondered his next move.

“I’ve already taken everything the underworld had to offer,” he mused. “The only prey left are the Prime Deities from the Divine Sea Heaven’s ranks.”

The image of the white stag Deus Behemoth passed through his mind. Suspicion toward Cain had lessened over the past few months, largely thanks to his unwavering decisiveness on the battlefield. Still, the vanishing of other Prima Deities would raise doubts and paranoia and could blow up his cover.

Then, a gleam of cunning flashed in Cain’s eyes, cold and calculating. A devious idea formed.

“No one knows I’m Jarkal… I could use my disguise to assassinate Prime Deities from within Divine Calamity Heaven’s own ranks.”

To Cain, there was no distinction between the Prime Deities of Divine Calamity Heaven and those of Divine Sea Heaven. Apart from rare individuals like Alucard, who might one day fight beside him in the revolution, the rest were simply prey—resources to be consumed in his pursuit of ultimate strength.

Just as Cain was refining his thoughts, a spiritual message arrived, echoing inside his mind.

“Cain, return to the fortress on the shore. You have one day.”

A faint frown formed on Cain’s face. He had questions—many, in fact—but he could not afford to disobey Zoro’s orders. Without hesitation, he summoned a new clone, this one stronger and cloaked in a refined aura, powerful enough to deceive even some Prime Deities if they didn’t probe too deeply.

Silently, Cain departed the Volcano Tree, traversing the Endlessdeath Continent with stealth and speed. Thanks to his vast network of Scarlet Spies, he moved unseen, slipping past borders and checkpoints with ease. Within a few hours, he arrived at the coastal stronghold.

Immediately, Cain noticed something unusual.

The city was teeming with life, a hive of activity. Prime Deities that were previously assigned to expand Divine Calamity Heaven’s territory had gathered here. Something significant was happening.

Though unaware of the reason for the assembly, Cain said nothing. He merely approached in silence, joining with the rest of the members of the Gu Sect behind Zoro.

Deities from the Everlife Continent glanced at him, and several eyes narrowed. Though Cain masked his cultivation and psychic energy well, the power of his body—his flesh and blood—had grown to the point where it now surpassed even standard Prime Deity treasures. That raw physical pressure could not be hidden entirely.

Pation, Lancer, and Karter exchanged knowing glances, smirking slightly. They turned to the representatives from the Eclipse School and the Golden Star Kingdom, showing mocking smiles.

Rumors had begun to spread recently, whispering that Cain had chosen the role of a scout to avoid real combat—that he was a coward. Such claims were absurd, of course. Scouting was often more dangerous than open battle, and Cain had already proven his worth in the legendary Sea of Misfortune Battle.

But rumors rarely require logic.

Now, with Cain standing among them, his presence and power undeniable, such rumors were effortlessly crushed. No one would dare question him again.

Cain, unaffected by the opinions of others, simply waited, calm and unreadable, for the purpose of the gathering to be announced.

He didn’t have to wait long.

Roughly two hours after his arrival, the sky shimmered as Andrew, the Atrox-Inferno Hybrid, descended from the clouds. His eyes were sharp as he stared at every single Prima Deity.

“Good. Everyone’s here. I’ll begin now.”

Floating in his palm was a small, black pyramid etched with golden lines. Its surface pulsed with ancient power. In the next instant, the pyramid expanded, growing rapidly until it hovered like a monument in the air, nearly matching the size of the fortress itself.

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he analyzed it.

“Minimal offensive capabilities… but its defenses? Even with all my strength, I doubt I could break through.”

The gathered deities stood in awe, many instinctively backing away from the oppressive aura radiating from the structure.

Andrew allowed the group to bathe in the pyramid’s presence for several seconds before speaking again.

“Within this pyramid are the greatest treasures and techniques of Divine Calamity Heaven. You can all access them… if you fulfill one task.”

A hush fell over the crowd.

“You must kill the Prime Deities from the opposing side.”
