Chapter 1710: Ouroboros System in the Omega War
The revelation of Rank 10 Star Power was already incredible, but the shock escalated to an entirely different level as the assembled Prime Deities grasped the full implications of what they had just witnessed.
They all vividly remembered the battle above the Sea of Misfortune, where Cain had unleashed a stunning display of might. At that time, his Star Power had undoubtedly reached Rank 9, a feat impressive enough on its own.
For him to have evolved it even further—into the mythical Rank 10—meant only one thing: his Astral Rebirth Path of Power remained anchored in the Divine Realms.
That defied all logic. For Cain to remain Divine while still growing so explosively revealed a level of talent and potential that transcended comprehension.
Even Andrew, Zoro, and Maria—the ruling triumvirate of Divine Calamity Heaven’s army—were visibly taken aback. Their expressions, though quickly masked by experience, betrayed brief flashes of awe and surprise.
Cain, on the other hand, paid no attention to the stunned looks around him. His focus was razor-sharp. He kept his grip firmly locked around Martin’s throat while his Dark Moon Eye twisted Martin’s senses, disorienting his perception of time, space, and self. The prince was utterly paralyzed.
“CRACK!”
The sickening sound of bones straining under pressure echoed across the gathering. Martin’s neck began to fracture. A thin trickle of blood ran down his collar, and yet none of the Prime Deities from the Golden Star Kingdom dared intervene.
Cain’s raw power radiated outward like a force of nature. They knew if they took even one step forward, they might suffer the same fate.
“Enough!”
Andrew’s voice cut through the tension like a blade, filled with unquestionable authority. His aura exploded outward and slammed into Cain like a tidal wave of scorching heat and divine fire.
Cain frowned slightly at the pressure. It was undeniable. Yet beneath it, he felt something else—a sense of satisfaction. The last time a Peak Prima Deity had released his full might upon him, Cain had struggled. Now, his body and soul endured it with relative ease.
A cold, monstrous gleam lit up in Cain’s eyes as he stared into Martin’s terrified gaze.
“I only need to push the Dark Moon Eye a bit further… Given his current mental state, I could shatter his ego, erase his will.”
But even as the thought crossed his mind, Cain released his grip. Martin collapsed like a puppet with cut strings, coughing and gasping for air.
Cain took a few steps back and turned toward Andrew. He gave a small bow, signaling that he would not challenge Divine Calamity Heaven’s authority.
He had made his point.
The confrontation with Martin wasn’t born from emotion or insult. Cain didn’t care what the prince had said. His words held no weight, no sting. But Cain needed to send a message. His strength was not to be questioned.
When the day came that he returned with the severed head of one of Divine Sea Heaven’s Triumvirate, the doubters needed to believe he was capable. A mere Middle Prime Deity would never be trusted with such a feat. Worse, they might assume treachery—that he had faked the kill or conspired with the enemy.
He had to erase that doubt—right here, right now.
Cain and Andrew locked eyes for several seconds, tension still crackling faintly in the air. At last, Andrew gave a nod.
“Do as I say. Return to your duties. I expect Prime Deity corpses piled at my feet before long.”
The Prime Deities surrounding the scene nodded, though whether they would truly risk their lives for the chance at the pyramid’s treasures was yet to be seen. But one thing was certain: they all wanted what lay inside.
Just as the crowd was beginning to disperse, Cain’s voice rang out once more.
“Lord Andrew, before I depart, I nearly forgot. I have a proposition.”
Andrew’s brow twitched with mild irritation, but again, he held his temper. It was unwise to antagonize someone like Cain, who could bring so much death to the battlefield. So he simply nodded in acknowledgment.
“Speak.”
“I would like to implement a system of my own. I call it the Ouroboros System. Of course, it’s not meant to compete with Divine Calamity Heaven’s arsenal. Mine is designed specifically for Divine Cultivators.”
Andrew narrowed his eyes briefly. But ultimately, the matter was trivial. Divine Cultivators were insignificant assets in the grand war.
“Go ahead.”

“Thank you, Lord.”
Cain bowed deeply. Then, releasing a pulse of psychic power, he summoned a clone next to the massive pyramid and handed over two spatial rings. Each was filled with oceans of treasure—more than enough to make even a Divine Transcendence Cultivator lose control with greed.
The Ouroboros System was now in motion.
The Prime Deities began to disperse in earnest. Cain glanced toward Zoro. The Inferno-Daemon gave a slight nod of approval, and with that, Cain transformed into a streak of storm light and vanished across the horizon.
Zoro watched him go in silence.
Part of him would have preferred a warrior as decisive and powerful as Cain directly on the front lines. However, he also understood the value of the intelligence Cain brought as a scout. And so, for now, he would allow the young powerhouse to operate from the shadows.
It didn’t take long for Cain to leave the stronghold far behind. Beneath the canopy of ancient trees, he resumed his disguise as Jarkal, blending seamlessly into the land. Minutes later, he reached the towering Volcano Tree and, without hesitation, teleported himself into the [Samsara Arsenal Module].
The moment he arrived, he inhaled deeply, drawing in the dense Soul Enlightenment Mist that filled the sacred chamber. The air itself seemed to pulse with wisdom and power.
Cain retrieved the ancient tome that contained the Blood Burst Technique, placing it in front of him with reverence. He opened his soul and allowed its essence to immerse fully in the knowledge stored within.
Moments later, a torrent of understanding surged into his mind.
All the principles, formulas, and spiritual frameworks of the technique unfolded before him like a divine tapestry.
