Chapter 1735: Back to the dreams
The corpse that fell resembled that of a young man with golden hair and a sharp, refined aura. His identity was unmistakable—Martin, the Crown Prince of the Golden Star Kingdom, a figure the entire Everlife Continent believed to be dead.

But Martin had not perished.

Back when Cain, disguised as Jarkal, triggered that catastrophic explosion which engulfed both himself and Martin, he had made a calculated decision.

Instead of killing the young prince, Cain had sealed Martin within the stomach of Lord of Conquest Leviathan. There, isolated in the deepest parts of the beast’s essence, Martin’s will and ego had been constantly eroded—devoured by the Concept of Gluttony and reshaped by the Path of Conquest.

A dry cough echoed across the volcanic shoreline.

“Kuh-huh!”

Martin’s body stirred, rising slowly from the charred earth. But the man who emerged was not the same prince the world had known. His once-vibrant eyes, once filled with zeal and pride, now burned with a deep crimson flame—a controlled, unwavering inferno that seemed to command every thought, every breath.

Cain’s sharp gaze locked onto Martin, and a flicker of psychic power flooded the area, scanning every inch of the man’s body and soul. After a long moment, a small, satisfied smile curled on Cain’s lips. With a simple nod, Martin understood the unspoken command.

Without a word, he vanished into the earth—his aura completely suppressed.

Cain had taken every measure to make himself undetectable, especially from the eyes of Divine Calamity or that mysterious, godlike Lord. But the very process of such concealment would leave him completely defenseless.

That’s why Martin’s presence was crucial. The prince, now reborn as a living weapon of conquest, would act as guardian—silent, lethal, and hidden.

With that layer of protection secured, Cain inhaled deeply.

Then, with full focus, he harmonized with the five Proto Laws that pulsed within his Inner World.

The world around him shifted.

Cain’s body began to tremble as divine force coursed through his veins, and then—it started to dissolve.

Flame. Wind. Earth. Water. Lightning.

One by one, the elements embraced him.

A piece of Cain flowed toward the volcano, merging with its molten core. He became one with the lava, his essence swirling with primal fire and tempered heat.

Another fragment of him soared into the sky, dissolving into the air itself. He was no longer flesh and blood, but a breeze scattered across the winds.

A third portion dove into the ocean, fusing with the deep currents. He moved through the tides as fluid motion, undetectable, untraceable.

The fourth fragment of Cain sank into the earth, becoming part of the volcanic bedrock. His essence laced through the soil, the stone, the crystals, and magma veins, making him indistinguishable from the land.

Finally, his last spark rose into the storm clouds, and with a silent crack of energy, he replaced the lightning. He did not ride the lightning—he became it.

Cain no longer had a physical body. No soul signature. No form that could be sensed.

He was now the flame of the volcano, the breath of the wind, the tide in the ocean, the heartbeat of the land, and the flash in the sky.

A being of elemental oneness.

And yet, one tether remained—his Alter-Ego. Lord of Conquest Leviathan still carried the final spark of his ego and aura.

Cain would leave Leviathan dormant. While the body melted into elemental law, the Alter-Ego would serve as a quiet anchor. Still. Silent. Watchful.

Cain could no longer actively train in the Everstrife Empyrean World. The threat of detection was too great. But there was another place—the realm of dreams. A world where even the most powerful ArchDeities could reach.

It was time to return.

Cain’s body—what remained of it—had become indistinguishable from the landscape. His spirit had dissolved into five elements. His presence had become one with the world itself.

And now, Lord of Conquest Leviathan followed.

The immense draconic serpent began to shimmer, its colossal body unraveling into a sea of psychic power. It dispersed into the environment, vanishing as Cain had, leaving behind only a series of faint symbols—runes carved in light and intent.

They shimmered in the air above the volcanic range, floating as if carved into reality itself. These were not just marks or words. They were edicts, truths so profound that even Proto Laws paled before them.

Then, without sound or warning, the symbols began to tremble.

And in the very next instant, they vanished—consumed by a realm beyond realms.

—

The news of Cain Laurifer’s sudden disappearance from the battlefield spread like wildfire across the ranks of Divine Calamity Heaven’s army. It didn’t take long for whispers and speculation to ignite, especially among the higher ranks.

The timing aligned too perfectly with the massive explosion and violent spatial tremors that had erupted at the heart of the Endlessdeath Continent—a battle so fierce that even the skies had cracked and the land had trembled.

Many believed that an avatar of Divine Sea had descended upon the continent, perhaps in a final attempt to exact vengeance for the death of Michae. But in truth, no one knew what had actually transpired. Not a single soul had witnessed the outcome of that battle firsthand.

And Divine Calamity himself? He said nothing. There was no announcement, no declaration, no explanation. He could not admit that a young warrior had bested him, even if only through a fragment of his consciousness. His silence only deepened the mystery—and the fear.

Rumors bloomed like wildfire in a dry forest. Uncertainty gripped the ranks, and with it came hesitation. Many Prima Deities from Divine Calamity Heaven began to pull back, their resolve shaken by the unknown.

But it was not only Divine Calamity’s forces who hesitated. The Prima Deities from Divine Sea Heaven were also disturbed. They had sensed the devastating clash and recognized its terrifying magnitude—but its source remained a mystery. None dared act boldly.

And so, the weight of the war shifted.

With the major powers paralyzed by caution, the responsibility for advancing the war effort fell to the Divine Masters. Among them were the chosen—those with Scarlet Leviathans hidden deep within their Soul Dimensions.

Each of these warriors fought like zealots, driven by a singular focus: to grow stronger, to prove their worth, and to one day stand at the side of their Lord.
