Chapter 1738: To the peak of the Soul Realm (I)

An intense desire to grow stronger surged in Cain’s heart as he once again commanded the Supercomputer Assistant.

“Analyze my Oniric Truth,” he said with calm authority.

Even after all his encounters with the Proto Laws, the profound mystery and overwhelming power of the Oniric Truth continued to astonish him.

These truths were not only superior to the natural Laws that governed the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, but their influence was absolute—transcending the boundaries of both the physical and ethereal planes of reality, like a perfect blend between Laws and Concepts.

The robotic voice of the Supercomputer Assistant echoed inside Cain’s mind. In the next moment, a crystalline interface manifested before his consciousness, displaying the data with unnerving clarity.

[Oniric Truths Analysis:

Gluttony: 50%

Dominion: 19%

Destruction: 16%

Wrath: 14%

Blood: 6%

Hatred: 5%]

Cain couldn’t help but smile widely. His comprehension of the Oniric Truth of Gluttony had advanced dramatically.

“Amazing. Before I left less than a decade ago, my understanding of Gluttony was only at 21%!” he murmured.

The improvement was staggering—especially considering that his body and soul had not undergone formal training during that period. All the energy flowing through his being had been funneled into the holders of the Mark of Abaddon. Yet, it was precisely that mark that had enabled such monumental growth.

Through the Mark, those bound to him—Meylin, Bahamut, Lady Alume, and others—devoured the energy, will, and even lives of countless beings. With every soul consumed, their comprehension of the Oniric Truth of Gluttony was etched into Cain’s soul as well, branded into the core of his essence. His dominion over the Oniric Truth expanded exponentially, and his soul force rose to incredible heights.

But Cain knew that the path forward would not be so generous.

“There is a vast threshold between the first half and second half of any Oniric Truth,” he thought grimly.

He gave another command to the Assistant.

“Estimate the time required to reach 100% comprehension of the Oniric Truth of Gluttony.”

…

…

Estimated time: 445,423 years.]

Cain’s eyes widened at the figure. Then, to his own surprise, he let out a hearty laugh. The sheer absurdity of the duration was hilarious. While others might pale at such a number, Cain found it amusing.

A Void Eclipse Legend like him could easily live for over a million years. Devoting half that lifespan to becoming a Prima Deity wasn’t irrational—on the contrary, it was a worthwhile investment. Especially considering that ascending to Prima Deity would extend his lifespan even further, potentially into the tens of millions of years.

But Cain had no intention of waiting that long.

“According to the knowledge and memories I acquired from the Sun Lord, one can achieve Prima Deity status by mastering three Oniric Truths to at least 50%,” he recalled. “At that point, the soul reaches the strength necessary to ascend to Level 36.”

That route was far more accessible. With Cain’s unique talents and current capabilities, he could achieve such a feat in less than a hundred years. And yet, he shook his head.

“No. Those who follow that path are ultimately weaker. Their foundations are shallow compared to one who evolves with a single Oniric Truth at 100%.”

Cain had already chosen a different path—one filled with difficulty, pain, and constant challenge. But it was also one that held the potential for true greatness.

“As long as I help the First Realm become whole once again, the World Will shall reward me with the power I need.”

His decision had been made. A solemn light appeared in Cain’s eyes as he considered his next course of action. At present, his existence was split into ten avatars. He served as the nucleus of the Eternal Ascendant Network, channeling an infinite stream of energy to Meylin, Bahamut, Lady Alume, and the other bearers of the Mark of Abaddon.

Thanks to the Mark, Cain could sense everything they experienced. He understood just how vital this flow of energy was. That meant he could not leave the Sun Ascension Pool. But staying physically stationary did not mean his growth had to stagnate.

“Now that my black hole has reached the Peak of the Void Eclipse Rank… my soul force is comparable to a Prima Deity. With my understanding of Gluttony at 50%, there’s nothing stopping the awakening of my Doomsday Stars or the evolution of my Immortal Dragon Body.”

He smiled again, this time more calmly.

The preparations he had put in place before leaving the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe were bearing fruit. The improvement his True Name had received as part of Lord of Conquest Leviathan amplified his cultivation speed dramatically.

Without wasting another second, Cain closed his eyes.

The Supercomputer Assistant was managing the flow of energy to his allies. That left Cain free to focus the full might of his mind and soul on his own ascension. The liquid flames of the pool surged through his flesh and blood, pouring into the constellation of stars forming within him—most notably, the Sixth Doomsday Star.

Hours passed. Then days. Finally, weeks slipped by in silence. Until—

Tremor.

Cain’s entire body quivered as a massive surge of vitality and raw physical power erupted from within him. Every cell in his body emanated a devouring force so intense it felt as if space was warping around him.

His eyes snapped open, glowing with a dragonic light.

His Immortal Dragon Body had ascended to the next rank.

But it wasn’t over.

Less than an hour later, a pinprick of light manifested deep within his body. It grew brighter and brighter, until it resembled a miniature star trapped within the confines of his flesh.

“The Sixth Doomsday Star has awakened,” Cain said aloud, the echo of his voice vibrating through the pool.

He could feel the full weight of its power—reality-distorting, soul-crushing, and utterly magnificent.

A wide smile spread across his face.

“Six Doomsday Star Neo-Demon,” he whispered proudly.

His Neo-Demon Path had advanced yet again.
