Unlike the first time he emerged from the forest, Cain was currently wearing dark metallic armor, and the sword in his hand was a powerful magic treasure that seemed to enhance the power of the lightning coursing through it.

The armor and weapon significantly improved Cain’s offensive and defensive abilities.

Yet he could not be careless as one of the massive fire snakes increased in speed and lunged toward him from the side with such speed he could not dodge it.

Cain’s eyes grew sharp as he increased the energy output through his left hand before extending his palm.

“Electric Shield,” Cain uttered.

The next second, a massive barrier of lightning emerged.

“¡BOOOOMMMM!” A powerful explosion rent the air as the massive fire snake collided with the lightning barrier, erupting into a searing blast of flames.

The force of the impact was enough to scorch the earth beneath them, but the shield held firm, proving Cain’s skill and the power of his magic.

The difference in the spells’ power was stark.

Cain did not have time to relax.

Just as he blocked one of the massive fire snakes, the other came crashing down from the sky with shocking momentum.

He simply raised his sword.

“Electroflare!” A burst of lightning-infused fire emerged from the sword, obliterating the massive snake instantly.

Immediately after that, Cain’s focus intensified, and the lightning coursing through his figure grew even stronger.

He flashed forward with his highest speed, his movements a blur of lightning and steel.

His sword crackled with electricity, a testament to the power of his magic and the intensity of his concentration.

Rellin was taken aback by the defensive and offensive abilities of Cain.

He could barely track the speed of the young man as he streaked through the sky, his movements a dance of fire and lightning.

Without time to think, he summoned all his strength and conjured a massive hand of flames that descended rapidly, its heat searing the air around it.

Since the old man could not see Cain, he unleashed a spell that could cover a massive range, forcing the young man to pull back.

However, not only did Cain not retreat, but he pierced through the massive flaming hand, leaving Rellin dumbfounded.

Rellin’s mind raced as he tried to comprehend the speed and power of his former apprentice.

He was frozen in shock, unable to react as the lightning sword flashed towards his neck, a testament to the depth of his defeat.

Magic defensive barriers instantly activated around the old man, but the lightning sword cut through them, advancing with utter strength and stopping just one centimeter away from his neck.

Cain stopped his attack, retrieved his sword, and patted the old man’s shoulder.

“I guess I have won.” Rellin was still recovering from the shock and only sighed before nodding.

“You took less than a month to master the abilities and managed to easily defeat me even after your energy was restricted to Level 17.” “Hahaha, part of the reason I won is the powerful armor and sword you granted me.” Cain only smiled before his energy pool burst with power, and a cracking sound emerged from his body as a magic matrix covering his figure shattered to pieces.

Even without his new Stormfire Adept class, Cain would have easily defeated Rellin by relying on the immense brute power of his Sky Lord Level 20 cultivation.

However, to make the fight more challenging and interesting, he allowed the old mage to put a weakening magic matrix on his body.  Rellin expected to at least equal Cain once the young man’s energy fell to Level 17, but he was easily defeated.

Although it was a heavy blow to his ego, it also made the old man happy.

The more impressive Cain was, the better it would be for him.

“There is nothing more that I can teach you, and I doubt you can find anything that can improve your cultivation in this place, so it is time for us to go to the Saint Trinity Realm,” Rellin spoke solemnly.

The old man knew that a powerful figure like Cain would interest the rulers of the Trinity Kingdom, but it would not be easy to obtain knowledge of the Legendary Realm.
