The Extra Seeks Chaos - Chapter 222
Chapter 222: Emotions
Arin knew that the Raven was definitely the reason why his back was itchy, after all, that was where the tattoo was located.
As he was walking towards the male dorm building, he could hear some of the students who were still outside whispering about him.
They had looks of admiration on their faces as some pointed at him.
Arin knew that it was because of the fact that he was among the three who won the tournament for the Academy.
In fact, he had been receiving stares like this since morning.
It was also the same for Tessa.
Though, at the end, it didn’t matter anymore because all the Academies in the Kingdom were closing.
“Arin!”
Arin looked to the left where he saw Lina running towards him.
His expression instantly softened as he waited for her.
“I never knew you liked walking about,” she said with a smile as she finally reached him.
“Sorry. I was also looking for you,” Arin said as he smiled back.
“It’s okay,” Lina said. “Tell me, which city did you get assigned to? I got assigned to Spring City.”
“Blackstone City,” Arin said with a sigh.
He would’ve told her that the King sent for him because he won the tournament, but he had already told Hector that he got assigned to Blackstone City, and he didn’t want it to look like he was lying if Hector ended up telling her.
Lina’s jovial expression momentarily disappeared as she stared at the ground.
They would be apart.
Though she already knew that there was a high chance that they would get assigned to different cities, she still held on to the last thread of hope.
But apparently, she was asking for too much.
“Lina. Everything will be fine, okay?”
Arin held her shoulder as he reassured her.
She nodded lightly as she forced a smile back on her face.
“Yes, Arin. I believe,” Lina said. “We’ll meet with mother, father and Edwin tomorrow to tell them goodbye, so we’ll still see each other one more time.”
Arin nodded. “I understand.”
Now that he was talking to Lina, it felt even more painful that they wouldn’t be together.
He couldn’t help but remember when he first reincarnated into this world. He didn’t feel any kind of sibling love towards Lina.
In fact, he was hoping that he wouldn’t run into her every time classes ended.
But now…
Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around Lina, hugging her tightly.
At that point, Lina couldn’t hold it back anymore.

Tears streamed out from her eyes as she hugged Arin back, crying and sobbing.
“I’ll miss you, Arin… *sob* I’ll miss you so much.”
“I’ll miss you too, Lina.”
Finally, after two minutes, they let go of each other, and after discussing a bit, Lina left, walking towards the female dorm building.
Though, Arin’s eyes were now on Tessa who was approaching from his front.
“I wish I had siblings,” Tessa said as she reached Arin and folded her arms.
It was quite obvious that she said this because she saw Arin and Lina hugging each other.
Arin chuckled.
“It’s gonna be tough for us.”
“I know. You both just have to make sure you see each other again,” Tessa said.
“For sure,” Arin replied.
“Alright, I guess we’ll meet each other in the castle two days from now,” he added.
Tessa pursed her lips. “About that…”
She suddenly paused as she squinted her eyes.
“Nevermind,” she said.
She looked at Arin straight in the eyes before stretching out her right hand.
Arin had a slightly confused expression on his face, but he also stretched out his hand and shook her.
“Alright…” she said before walking away.
Arin just shrugged and continued walking.
He arrived in his room and instantly dropped the bracelet on the ground, and Roxanne appeared.
She greeted Arin as usual.
“Can you help me check it…? You know…” Arin said, gesturing towards his back.
Roxanne instantly understood.
“Of course.”
Arin nodded and sat cross-legged on the bed.
He pulled his shirt, revealing his back.
Roxanne was seated behind him, and immediately he pulled his shirt, she saw the tattoo.
“Woah…”
“Hey, what is it? Tell me?” Arin asked hastily, his eyes filled with curiosity.
Roxanne squinted her eyes. “It’s bigger now…”
From what Roxanne said, Arin had now confirmed that it was the tattoo that was indeed causing that itch.
He suddenly felt a jolt on his body, and he realized that it was just Roxanne who was doing what she did last time.
Her fingers were on his back, with her fingernails tracing the tattoo.
It was soothing, and it also tickled him a lot, but he quickly stopped himself from laughing.
“Roxanne…”
Instantly, Roxanne removed her hand from his back.
“Sorry… I got carried away again.”
“It’s okay.”
‘Now, how am I going to see the current size now?’
“You dumbass! Have you forgotten that you have a mirror?” Seraphine asked.
Arin’s eyes widened slightly.
‘How the hell did I even forget that?’
“Well, maybe because you’re thinking of too many things at the same time. Dumbass.”
Arin just stood up, ignoring Seraphine.
He noticed that she has been calling him dumbass for some days now, but he didn’t bother about it.
Reaching the mirror, he turned back to take a look at the tattoo.
And indeed, just like Roxanne said, it was now bigger than before.
Now, the tattoo covers the entire middle and upper part of his back.
Only the lower part of his back was still vacant.
The wingspan of the Raven was now wider, and its red eyes seemed to become even redder.
“I still can’t communicate with it,” Arin muttered.
As he was thinking of a way to communicate with it, he began walking towards the bed again.
“Well, I guess I should start making a new Chaos Element Spell.”
He knew that it wouldn’t be easy because no one has ever heard of the Chaos Element, so there were no Magic Circles for it to use as a reference.
Arin had to make Chaos Element Spells by himself, using his own imagination, and Chaos Element Mana.
Another way was that he could get Chaos Element Spells from the system, though, it was random.
Ever since he awakened the Chaos Element Affinity, he had only gotten two spells from the system, and that was only because he completed quests.
He made the third Spell by himself.
Though, before he could think about sitting down on a lotus position, he suddenly felt dizzy.
“Huh?…”
Instantly, he felt his Blood Energy being drained rapidly.
His eyes widened as he realized what was going on.
At the same time, he could already feel his consciousness slipping away.
Roxanne who was staring outside before, squinted her eyes and walked towards him worriedly as she saw him staggering.
Before he passed out, he was able to mutter, “don’t transfer your blood energy… to me…”
And then, he collapsed on the bed.
