Chapter 231: Getting Information [2]

The Chaos Element.

The major weakness of the Three Supreme Races.

Even Liora, a Progenitor, experienced the severe pain that came from it.

Then if Liora felt that kind of pain, then how would it be for this red-haired Vampire who was obviously much weaker than her?

There was only one way to find out…

“W… Wh… What are you doing?” the Vampire stammered as he shook his head, trying to get Arin’s hand off his face.

Slowly, Arin’s Chaos Element Mana began seeping out from his fingertips.

The instant it entered the Vampire’s body…

“AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

The Vampire let out a blood-curdling scream as his veins became visible.

The veins on his head, hands, and legs popped up, and his eyes widened to the point that it looked as if they would come out from their sockets.

“STOPPP! MAKE IT STOP! IT HURTS!!!!”

The Vampire kept screaming, but only Arin and Tessa were able to hear him because of the sound barrier.

Arin glanced at Tessa and noticed that she had a slight frown on her face, but apart from that, she looked okay.

[Do you want to remove the effect of the Chaos Element from this Vampire?]

“Not yet,” Arin muttered.

He walked closer to the Vampire before speaking, “I can make the pain stop, but only if you tell me what I want to know.”

“Nygh…. Just make it stop!! Make it stop!”

Arin sighed as he removed the effect.

Instantly, the Vampire stopped screaming and began breathing heavily.

Relief filled his face as his shirt stuck to his chest due to the way he was sweating buckets.

“You see,” Arin began, “don’t you feel relieved now?”

He continued,

“You know, I can easily make you feel that pain instantly. Do you want that? Or don’t you like the fact that you’re not experiencing any pain now?”

The Vampire instantly began breathing heavily again.

The feeling of the pain he just felt resurfaced in his mind.

That was no ordinary pain.

It was as if his head was being smashed a million times, and his insides were being diced into pieces.

It was a kind of pain that could make one lose their sanity!

The feeling he got because of the pain was one of the aspects of the Chaos Element.

The Destructive Aspect.

Did he really want to feel that again?

The Vampire’s eyes darted from left to right as he thought about it.

Arin could see the fear in his eyes.

The Vampire opened his mouth, though his lips were trembling.

Finally, after a few seconds, he finally spoke.

“I’ll tell you…”

Arin nodded. “Perfect…”

‘That went easier than I expected,’ he thought. ‘I guess the Chaos Element really causes a lot of pain.’

With that, the Vampire began speaking.

“I don’t know if you’ll understand some terms I’ll use, bec-”

“Don’t worry, I’ll understand,” Arin instantly said.

The Vampire furrowed his brows.

“You’ll understand? Are you a Vampire?”

“Just speak,” Arin said, clicking his tongue.

“O-okay. My master is P-progenitor Vaelric… And he’s the one who led me along with about 500 other Vampires to the human realm.

We stayed in the forest in one of the cities for about a week. I think it was called Blackstone City.

After capturing some humans, about 100 of them, Progenitor Vaelric turned them into Vampires.”

Arin squinted his eyes.

“Wait… Did the capturing happen before you all attacked five different cities?”

“Yes,” the Vampire replied.

“How were you all able to capture humans without them noticing?”

The Vampire bit his lips, but he had no choice, he had to speak in order not to experience that pain anymore.

“In the Vampire Realm, Progenitor Vaelric brought a human from among the humans who were captured in the last war living there. The human was able to somehow imbue Mana into me and the other Vampires, and even taught us how to use the Mana.”

Tessa’s eyes instantly widened.

“S-so… You’re telling me that about 500 Vampires that are here in the human realm can use Mana and even have affinities!?” she asked with a shocked expression.

“Yes,” the Vampire said.

Arin was just as shocked.

He didn’t know about this, and he was very sure that Thalos who was the King of the Vampires, Liora, and even the other Progenitors were also unaware of this.

Tessa gasped.

“If that’s the case, then… Then the Vampires are even stronger and more of a threat than we think they are.”

“Exactly,” Arin said.

He looked at the Vampire again.

“So, does that mean that the human also taught you all how to cover your Blood Energy?”

“Yes, he did. S-so, we can fight under the sun.”

Arin raised a brow.

“This is truly surprising.”

‘No wonder they were able to come to the human realm confidently even without knowing what season it was,’ Arin thought. ‘Though, even without the Mana, this rainy season would have still made it possible for them to fight in the daytime.’

The Vampire continued talking.

“I don’t know where Progenitor Vaelric is now, but he formed groups, and sent each group to different parts of the Kingdom.

Before all these, he had gathered information from humans, so he gave us that information and made it easy for us to know different locations in the Kingdom.

His order to each group was to go to the location assigned to us, and try capturing humans discreetly and turning them to Vampires. This would increase our army. At the same time, he also took a large number of Vampires and prepared them to launch a full-scale attack on five different cities.”

The Vampire continued talking as Arin and Tessa listened.

“The twelve of us ended up getting assigned to this part of the Kingdom. And we realized that this part of the Kingdom had a lot of Villages.

We decided to start with this Village, and turn as many as we could into Vampires. But if they resisted, then we would kill them just like Progenitor Vaelric commanded.”

Arin sighed.

“That’s a lot…”

Tessa was just silent, digesting all the information she just received.

But all in all, one thing was certain.

The war has truly begun.

“Please… Kill me…”

“Huh?”
