Chapter 201: What?
Why is she acting so arrogant Chapter 201: What?
Why is she acting so arrogant *Thud* the sound of the big textbook slamming into the teacher’s desk at the front of the class got everyone’s attention.
“Good morning, students.” Miss Stella greeted, smiling warmly at her students who made sure to get on their feet and greet back.
“Good morning, Miss Stella.” With a smile too.
‘Whoa,’ Alice at the corner exclaimed in her mind.
‘They suddenly turned from rowdy teens to trained soldiers.
Guess this is what happens when Miss Stella is in charge.
She can be pretty terrifying even with a warm and nice smile on her face.’ The moment Alice stepped into the class, she could tell there were B and A-class awakeneds in that class.
But of course, their energy levels were far inferior compared to hers.
They were lucky she decided to humor them by crushing her aura to the bare minimum and avoiding standing out.
She stood in front of the class and next to her were Leo and Damian.
“Now, as you can see, we have three new classmates joining us today.” She explained.
“While one of them is a schoolmate who just awakened, these two are newcomers.
So, be nice to them and be of good cheer.” Some looked interested, probably wondering what levels the new classmates were, while others were disgruntled, probably fearing that the spotlight would be taken from them.
Especially the blond-haired pretty girl sitting in the second row.
“Make introductions.” Someone yelled from the back and the rest of the class followed in agreement.
“Tell us your names, your class, and your experience levels.” The demand was high but Alice stayed silent, her expression hidden from prying eyes as she kept her gaze down.
‘Are the grounds thick enough?’ She asked herself.
‘If monsters came up here, will they fall to their deaths or will this ground be sturdy enough to accommodate them?’ *It’s probably sturdy.* Leo responded to her.
*This is a class filled with high-powered awakened kids who would definitely like to ‘play’, so of course, the floors would be sturdy.* ‘Hm, good point.’ “Come on, say something already.” One of the students complained and it looked like they were starting to get annoyed.
Miss Stella stayed silent, waiting for Alice’s response.
If she wanted to reply then she wouldn’t stop her, but she was sure she wouldn’t reveal the fact that she was the only legendary class on the planet.
“Phew,” Alice let out a little sigh and raised her head to finally respond.
“My name is Alice.” She said.
“Forget my last name.” She turned to Leo.
“This is Leo and that shy cutie over there is Damian.” Damian flinched at hearing her description of him.
“Anyway, we’ll be in this class till the end of the session.
I plan to graduate with you by all means, but…
That’s all you get to know.” “What?

Why is she acting so arrogant?” “She’s pretty cute, though.
Just take a look at that body and face.” “You’d think she’s an awakened with a beautification skill.” Someone added and they all laughed.
“Hah!” The blonde girl on the second row suddenly chipped in.
“Such a useless power.
She might be A or B class but it’s all for junk.” Alice went silent.
So, it had begun, huh?
The ridiculous thing called bullying.
She had just arrived, and yet they were already passing their judgment on her and making remarks how they saw fit.
Such a bunch of lost teenagers.
“Ah,” she softly exclaimed.
“My powers don’t have to do with beautification though.
I was born this way.” She said, acting soft.
“In fact, it might be hard to say but I’m a warrior type awakened.
And to prove it…” She suddenly took out a sword from her ring.
“Here’s my weapon.” Miss Stella was surprised.
Alice came prepared, didn’t she?
She was kind of worried that Alice would get annoyed and bring out her hammer to prove a point, which everyone may or may not recognize.
But she was smart.
“Now, I’d hate to want to prove myself past this point.” She said, “But I am a little annoyed.
So, know this, you weak little brats,” her tone turned sour and spiteful.
“…If any of you try to come at me then I will show you hell that your mother tried to keep you from.
I will carve your skin, gorge out your eyeballs, and break your bones if I have to.” The atmosphere in the classroom turned eerie with Alice’s threat.
“And that goes for anyone who tries to bother me or my two pals over here.
So…
You’ve been warned.” The death in her eyes immediately disappeared and she smiled softly.
“That will be all for my introduction.” She turned to Miss Stella who was still a bit out of it.
“Miss Stella, where do we sit?” Miss Stella blinked and then shook her head, getting that frightening threat out of her mind, and then cleared her throat.
“It’s not a nice thing to be hostile first thing in the morning, Alice.” She said.
“Oh?
Then, I’ll keep that in mind.” Alice warmly said.
“Then?” “Back seat will work well for you, right?” She asked and Alice nodded.
The last row was usually empty in case of new students.
So, Alice, Leo, and Damian made their way to the backseat.
Alice wanted to take the seat closest to the window but Leo beat her to it.
He sat down and acted like he did nothing wrong.
An irk formed on her forehead but she decided to be calm and just sit next to him.
Besides, that way, she would be able to keep a closer eye on Damian.
Damian sat down, placed his bag on the table, and found Alice staring at him.
“Ah, what…
What are you looking at?” He asked, shyly hiding his face.
“Well, how was it?” She asked him.
“Do you think I scared them off well enough?” “Well, you…
You did.
But…
Oftentimes, provocation like this brings out curiosity and since they want to know if your threats hold any water, they will tempt you.” He lowered his head.
“And when that happens-” “It’s okay.” Alice said, dismissing his worries.
“They can come at me all they want.” She glanced at the rest of the class that was keeping an eye on her, some secretly, and others openly.
She could tell they were getting hostile.
But oh well, what better way to train a hostile animal than to give it a few beatings?
She’s gonna make sure to teach them properly.
“Okay, now,” Miss Stella took out her pen.
“Settle your auras.
If anyone wants to test Alice, then you’re free to do so, but let me warn you, proceed with caution.
I don’t want to hear that a student from this class visited the infirmary multiple times.” “Don’t worry, Miss Alice.” A guy sitting in the front row said.
“We won’t break anything in her body.” He looked smug.
“We’ll just ask a few friendly questions and if she doesn’t respond, then maybe we could get a little rough.
But we’ll act with caution.” Miss Alice perked up her glasses and then said, “Idiot, it’s not her I’m worried about.” She sighed.
‘I won’t be here at all times.
I just hope she doesn’t stick to her threats.
Try not to stand out, my foot.
She was already at the top of their minds now.’ CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah yeah, tell em, teach
