- Chapter 223 - Chapter 223 She wanted to punch Leo
Chapter 223: She wanted to punch Leo Chapter 223: She wanted to punch Leo “Wow, that was very good.” The teacher said, impressed that Alice read it all word for word.
And she didn’t make the same mistake Clarissa made.
Clarissa was already clutching the leg of her desk, doing her best not to break it.
Her hatred for Alice seemed to grow even more than before.
‘I’ll kill her.
I really will.’ Alice shook her head.
There was no helping it.
That much hate couldn’t have been accumulated from just one day of knowing her.
She definitely hated her guts in her previous life.
And Leo was not helping matters in that regard as well.
It was almost like he wanted to fuel the flames of hatred even more.
“You’re so talented, Alice.” The teacher said, a light flush on his face and a smile of approval.
“You just joined the class yesterday, I assume?
You’re a genius.” ‘Please, if you keep praising me like that, I just might fall in love with the praises.’ Alice thought, feeling a bit proud.
‘But as much as I love the little attention, I don’t think I have the energy to handle it.
I’m so lazy that I want to just live quietly…
for now.’ *That quote contradicts your character, doesn’t it?* Leo said to her with a sneer and Alice closed her eyes, her head gradually boiling.
The teacher backed the class and faced the board.
“Now that that’s settled, let’s…” *Bang!* The loud sound of something smashing the wall interrupted the teacher, and he, as well as the rest of the class, turned their heads to see what it was.
Alice’s fist was on the wall, which had inevitably been crushed by her punch, and Leo’s face was just an inch away from the spot she crushed.
“What was that?” The teacher asked and Alice took her hand back, particles of the broken wall following her fist.
“Oh, I’m sorry, teacher.” She said, beaming a fake and forced smile.
“There was an annoying fly on the wall and I really hated the noise it was making, so I crushed it.” “Ah, it looks like the fly wasn’t the only thing you ended up crushing.” He said, gulping at what a delicate-looking girl like her did to the poor wall.
In this class, one couldn’t trust looks one bit, or else you’d be in for one hell of a surprise.
Alice perked up her glasses with the hand she had used to smash the wall and then flung the dust off.
Damian, as well as the rest of the class, were still staring with shocked eyes.
But they weren’t shocked at the fact that she broke the wall with her fist since most of them could do that, but rather it was the fact that she didn’t actually punch the wall to kill a fly and that she might’ve been aiming for someone in particular.
Based on the assumption and the way Leo’s face was just an inch away from that damage, grinning fearlessly at her as if provoking her, it was clear that she wanted to punch him.
But why though?
“Did you see that?” They started murmuring.

“She wanted to punch his face, didn’t she?” “Why though?
She could’ve ruined his face.
Aren’t they dating or something like that?” The teacher cleared his throat but even he was curious as to what really happened.
Even if she looked so delicate, it looked like she had quite a temper.
Ah, these kids were dangerous.
Every single one of them.
The bell rang just at that moment and the teacher started packing up his books, relief coursing through him.
“Well, that’ll be all for today.
See you in our next class.” He needed to escape and catch his breath.
The air in the class was becoming tense and one would never know when a fight would break out.
“Are…
Are you okay?” Damian asked and Alice turned to him.
“Yeah, what about it?” “Well, you punched the wall, and…” He fidgeted, not knowing if asking that would make her mad, but she suddenly patted his head.
He looked up at her to find her smiling warmly at him.
“Thanks for worrying about me, but don’t do that.
You should smile.” She said, drawing her face closer to his.
“If you smile more, I bet I’ll feel so much better.” “R-really?” He stuttered and she nodded.
Damian’s heart thumped.
Her face was so close to his, and she was smiling too.
She was so pretty and nice, and…
“Then, what about your hand?” Damian asked, and Alice nudged her head, signaling he looked towards the other side.
He looked past her and found Leo cleaning her dusty hand with a handkerchief.
He was kind of confused.
Didn’t she get mad at him and punch the wall?
Wasn’t he mad that she tried to punch him?
So, why was he cleaning her hand?
What was going on?
His head was slowly blowing a fuse when Alice tittered and said, “We’re cool.
And I’m not mad at him.
I just wanted to let off some steam.
If I did want to hit him, it wouldn’t be here in the classroom.” She rested her back on her chair.
“Why so?” Damian dared to ask and Leo glanced up at him.
“Because that would only lead to a fight and we would shatter the school building.” He answered.
“We don’t want that now, do we?” Damian silently gulped.
So, they were really just messing around, huh?
Well…
he glanced at Alice, blinking his eyes gently as he watched her talk to Leo like nothing had happened.
Then, his eyes traveled to the wall.
It was still slowly cracking and if it got hit a second time, it would break down for sure.
She did a good job holding back.
But…
There was one question he wanted to ask.
He found out from his brother that Alice was the same girl on TV, the one who had smothered the Eclipse dragon by just lifting her hand, and he knew she was very powerful but…
He had no idea what class she belonged to.
She was way stronger than his brother, who was an S-class awakened, and possibly stronger than the chairman of the Awakeneds Association, who was SS-class, so how much stronger was she?
Was she SSS-class?
Because the gap was way too big for him to comprehend.
“So, um…” He started quite softly and shyly, and Alice turned to him, waiting for his words.
She waited for him to speak, but before she could, someone walked up to them.
It was a black-haired dude with an indifferent expression on his face.
The way he walked made it look like he was putting on airs, and everyone in the class was beneath him.
He had quite the cat eyes, so he was good-looking, for a normal person’s standard, that is.
Alice wouldn’t ogle over his looks, not when there were Leo, Devon, and Mark, who had top-notch looks and the body to go with them.
Even Damian looked better than him by her standards.
He was more on the cute and adorable side but he was still irresistible.
Just looking at him made her mood better.
But this black-haired dude just has to come and ruin the moment.
She tilted her head and asked with disinterest in her tone.
