- Chapter 233 - Chapter 233 Well, I wish I knew
Chapter 233: Well, I wish I knew Chapter 233: Well, I wish I knew “Ah, one more thing,” Alice added.
“Do you believe in a previous life?” As soon as she said this, Leo opened his eyes slowly.
“What?
A previous life?
Why would I want to believe in something that has no relevance to my present life?” Clarissa asked quite reasonably and Alice shrugged her shoulders.
“Ah, you’ll never know.” She said.
“This hatred you feel.
What if we knew each other in our previous lives and I did something that made you hate me so much?
That would explain why you feel a sudden hatred for me right now, don’t you think?” She smiled and Clarissa gave it a thought.
A previous life, huh?
“But you know something,” Alice added and Clarissa raised her head to find a sudden melancholic look on Alice’s face.
“That hatred from your previous life could’ve all been one big misunderstanding and you hated me for no reason.
Don’t you think hating me now for no reason and just the feelings from your previous life would only continue with that misunderstanding?” “Why are you talking like it’s real?” Clarissa asked her.
“Well, it’s something I thought long and hard about.” Alice said.
“It could be a simple speculation that held no water but it could also be true, right?
So, if that were the case, don’t you think it’s time to let go?” Alice smiled softly.
Her smile was warm, and she looked like she was pleading.
“What is wrong with you?” Clarissa asked and Alice broke out of it.
“Ah, that was embarrassing.” She said, looking away.
“And to think I poured my heart into that.
Well, it’s no use, I guess.” Clarissa felt like Alice was speaking in riddles because she could not understand anything she was saying.
“Oh, well.
Miss Stella, can we go now?” Alice asked.
“I believe this issue is settled, right?” “Well,” Miss Stella glanced at Clarissa.
She couldn’t exactly say the issue was settled but what to do when Clarissa was like this?
She sighed.
“I guess you can go back to your classes now.
I’ll see you in a bit.” “Sure.” Alice stood up and walked towards the door with a simple look on her face but just before she walked in through the door, Leo asked, “Are you okay?” Alice paused and then she tittered quite sadly.
“Well, I wish I knew.” She opened the door and walked out.
Leo took one good look at Clarissa before walking out.

Damian was at the door, waiting anxiously for them.
He was worried that Alice would get in trouble, so as soon as she walked out, he asked, “What did she say?
You’re not in trouble, are you?” “Of course not,” she laughed.
“Who do you take me for?” “Then,” he glanced at the door.
“Is she in trouble?” Alice went silent for a while and then shrugged.
“Even if she were in trouble, that wouldn’t be any of my concern now, would it?” She started walking forward.
“Come on, let’s get to class.” Miss Stella looked at Clarissa.
“Can I also leave now?” Clarissa asked.
“Yes, but since you don’t know what’s wrong with you, I advise you to get examined.” Miss Stella said.
“Try to see a healer.” “Thank you for your concern, Miss Alice.” Clarissa said, getting up from her chair.
“Oh, and…” Miss Stella added but was a bit reluctant with her next words.
“I know what Alice said might’ve sounded fictional but…
Try to think about it.
I believe that all this must be a misunderstanding somewhere.” “Are you taking her side, Miss Stella?” Clarissa suddenly asked but Miss Stella shook her head, stating cleanly, “I’m on no one side.
I stand for you all, my precious students.
And if there’s something like this going on, I’d very much like for both sides to think rationally and figure out what’s going on calmly.
Don’t you think that’s best?” Clarissa was silent.
But she ended up bowing her head and heading out of the office with no more words.
Whether to think deeply about what she had heard or just brush it aside was all her choice.
She walked out of the office and sighed.
Her lips quivered and she bit them, her forehead creased and her eyes narrowing in tears.
She cried.
Just what did she do to deserve this?
Why was she so out of control?
There was someone in the shadows watching her and by the time she cleaned her eyes with her hand and started walking away, the shadow disappeared.
After a while, Clarissa calmed herself and headed to the class.
The first thing she planned to do was apologize to Maki and Steph.
Most especially Steph because she had been hurt when trying to stop her.
But the moment she opened the class door and walked in, she found Maki and Steph at the back of the class talking to Alice.
Alice was smiling like nothing had happened, and Maki was admiring Steph’s hand, which had miraculously been healed of the frostbites.
What was going on?
Why were they with Alice?
“Oh, and it looks like that little scar on your pinky was healed as well.” Maki pointed at and Steph gushed.
“Oh my, you’re right.
That potion works wonders.” Steph said.
“I’m so grateful, Alice.
It almost feels like we were in it when that happened but I was honestly just curious about what you had done to Lance.
But Clarissa went too far this time.
I don’t know what came over her.” Clarissa took slow steps toward the back.
“It’s alright.
Let’s just assume she’s on that time of the month and everything irritates her.” Alice said.
“Don’t take it to heart, okay?” “Ah, you’re such an angel.” Steph said, dropping her hand on her face in a dreamy way.
“Even after all that Clari did to you, you still take her side.
I don’t know why she hates you so much.” Alice shook her head.
“Haha, I’ll just assume I offended her in our past lives and this is me atoning for my sins by tolerating her antics.
It’s not that big of a deal, really.” “What are you saying?” Clarissa asked and they all turned to find her with an angst expression on her face.
“Why are you speaking like that?
Alice, what are you planning?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah The title…
