- Chapter 246 - Chapter 246 Apologize and I won't take this further
Chapter 246: Apologize and I won’t take this further Chapter 246: Apologize and I won’t take this further Alice had definitely not expected to see anyone she knew among the trainers, but given that she had seen quite a few awakeneds, she might see a familiar face or two, but this?
Why, of all people, was one of those familiar faces Philip?
That brat that grabbed the Chairman’s collar and was acting like an entitled jerk.
“Huh?
What’s that entitled brat doing up there?” Alice asked and then, all eyes fell on her.
Their eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
How could Alice speak like that about a professional awakened?
And he was…
An S-class awakened.
Slowly, the air started getting thick and dark, and from the podium, an immense aura started surging from Philip.
His eyes were glowing in rage, his fingers cracking in anticipation, ready to tear her bone from bone.
He looked like he was out for blood and given how much rage was in the air, it could be seen that he was no ordinary awakened, and all this was directed towards Alice.
“What did you say?” Philip asked, his voice deep and hoarse.
“Outsider,” he glared at her.
“Know your place.” His words sent a rush of wind that blew through the crowd of students.
But Alice was unfazed, standing still with her arms folded and her hair dancing with the wind.
While the students cowered at the aura being released and how the air was too dense to breathe normally in, Alice had this lazy look in her eyes.
“Ah,” Alice exclaimed, lowering her head a bit and then she raised it, showing her taunting gaze.
“And where exactly is my place if not here?” “I see.” Philip said and then hopped down from the podium, prompting Miss Stella to speak up.
“Wait just a minute, you can’t do that here.” She said but Philip had gone deaf to her words.
“Philip, this is not a fighting ground.
Do not pick fights with the students.” But Philip seemed to have made up his mind.
He still carried the bead of that dinner night when Alice threw him to the wall and knocked him unconscious.
He was going to deal a blow on her, this outsider who dared to interfere in his talk with his old man and call him an entitled brat.
Even with those glasses on, he recognized her right away.
That annoying tone and that voice…
He could not mistake it for anything.
“Apologize and I won’t take this further.” He said as he approached with his dangerous aura and bloodlust leaking out of his eyes.
The students made sure to give way, fearing that they would get caught up in the fight.
“And for what, exactly?” Alice asked, still acting nonchalant.

“Oh,” she smirked.
“Is it because I told the truth and called you an entitled brat?” This provoked Philip even more and the density of his aura increased.
“I’m going to make you pay.” He said, only to suddenly get restrained out of the blue.
His aura disappeared completely, and his bloodlust vanished from the air, and all that happened after someone placed a collar around his neck.
“What the hell?!” He exclaimed, irritated, and turned around, wondering who could’ve gotten so close to him and placed a coat around his neck without his notice.
“Aiyaya, let’s not get feisty on the first day.” That sassy and often amused tone spoke and Alice turned her head, knowing who she would find at the end of her gaze.
It was Micheal.
“This ought to cool you down.” Micheal added, “What the hell is this?” Philip lashed at him and grabbed the collar.
“Get it off me right this instant.” He tried all he could to get it off but it was no use.
“No can do,” Micheal flayed his hands.
“It was a request from the pretty lady up there so I had to put it on you as soon as possible.” He said and it seemed like he was smirking through his mask as he added, “And trust me, it’s for your own good.” Philip gritted his teeth and looked up at the podium.
Miss Stella sighed, shaking her head in dismay.
It was just the first day and he was already causing trouble.
She had heard from Adolf that Alice and Philip got off on the wrong foot and they would probably never see eye to eye, but he still insisted that Philip be among the new trainers for the awakened classes sports training.
This was going to be rather difficult.
Micheal turned to Alice, who had her eyes on him, and walked up to her right away, sucking up to her praise.
“So, Alice, how have you been?
It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” He asked, suddenly taking her hand.
“And you seem to have grown even more powerful,” he glanced at her eyes, diving deep into their depth and falling into the sea of wondrous bliss.
“And your eyes have become even more beautiful.” “Thank you,” Alice said, snatching her hand out of his hold and looking away.
He was able to walk up to Philip, who was an S-class awakened, without Philip noticing.
It might’ve been because he let his guard down while focusing his rage and intimidation on her but the fact still remained.
‘Guess I’m not the only one who can’t sense his presence when he’s approaching.’ “What the hell is this?” Philip asked, trying to get off the collar.
“Why won’t it come off?” “Oh, that’s because it’s an Awakened restraint.
All your powers as an Awakened are all sealed off for now, so you’re no different from a normal person.” Micheal explained and Philip went livid.
“What?!” “Oh, but don’t worry.” Micheal added.
“Once you’ve calmed down and the students aren’t in any danger of you losing control and running rampant, I’ll take it off.” He sounded polite but Philip didn’t buy it.
How could they seal off his powers and in front of these kids?
They were basically humiliating him.
“I didn’t sign up for this.” Philip ranted over gritted teeth and turned to Miss Stella who was approaching them.
“Yes, your grandfather signed you up instead.” Miss Stella said.
“So, it would be best to behave and then you’ll get that collar off faster.” She glanced around at the worried and confused expressions of the students.
“You’re already giving yourself a bad image even without that collar so behave.” She said and sighed.
“Seriously, who loses control and tries to bully their students on their first day?” “You heard what she said to me, didn’t you?” Philip pointed his finger at Alice in his own defense.
“She called me an entitled brat.
She was the one picking a fight.” Miss Stella sighed and turned to Alice who inevitably avoided her gaze.
“Alice,” she called.
“What did we say about being on our best behavior?” “I’m sorry, teach.” Alice said and when it looked like she was apologizing, she added, “Next time, I won’t say it so loud.” “You…” Philip was enraged.
Why was she stepping on his toes?
“Alice, be nice.” Miss Stella said but Alice didn’t have a favorable impression of Philip for her to act nicely towards him.
“I’ll be nice,” She said and folded her arms.
“…only if he starts being nice to Gramps.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Yes, tell him.
