- Chapter 248 - Chapter 248 I suddenly feel tired
Chapter 248: I suddenly feel tired Chapter 248: I suddenly feel tired Yes, it was a threat.
Micheal’s words were no different from a threat and this made the students even more curious.
Would he really kill someone for saying stuff like that to his face or was he just bluffing?
In any case, the weird man with a mask on was already a creep, so there was no telling what he would do if his buttons were pushed.
Better to stay away from trouble, right?
“Alright then,” An uncomfortable Miss Stella spoke, clearing her throat to rid the air of the sudden tension.
“Quite eventful indeed.” She said and the students began to laugh lightly.
“Anyway, there’s one more who will introduce himself but I don’t see him all of a sudden.” She looked around.
“He should be here any minute now but I guess he’s running late for some reason.” “Who is it?” One of the students asked after raising their hand.
“Is it somebody we know?” “Yeah, because these people aren’t very familiar to us.” Another one said.
“Is it another S-class awakened?
We already got two of them from two guilds and an A-class too.
It’s an honor, honestly.” “Is it a guild master?” As soon as that question was asked, everyone burst out laughing.
“Get real.
Why would a guild master want to supervise the training of rookie awakeneds like us?” “That’s the last thing to expect, alright?
They have better things to do like raid dungeons and spend time on their guild.
There’s no way a guild master would want to be a trainer.” “But we have two S-class awakeneds, isn’t that something?
None of us expected that so why not hope for a guild master?” Just like that, another topic popped up and the kids started talking again.
Fed up with all this waiting and gossiping, Alice dropped to the floor, crossing her legs and dropping her chin on her arm.
Well, if she was going to wait anyway, why not do it sitting on the floor.
This seemed to attract attention for some reason.
“What are you doing on the floor?
Get up.” Leo said to her but she stubbornly refused.
“No, just leave me here.” She said.
“Once we’re ready to start whatever it is we’re doing, I’ll stand.
For now, let me just lazy around.” “You sloth.
Come on, stand.” He grabbed her hand but she refused to budge.
Damian watched them and, though conflicted, decided to choose one side.
And, knowing Alice would remain stubborn no matter what, he decided to sit on the floor as well.
“I think Alice is right.” He said and Leo looked at him weirdly.

Of course, he would pick her side.
He was acting like a mama’s boy all of a sudden.
“Let’s just sit and wait.
It’s more comfortable than way.” Leo could not imagine sitting while everyone else stood but…
When with Alice, the unimaginable became reality.
He sighed and then sat on the floor as well.
“Fine, you win.” He said and Alice smiled.
“Yay!” Seeing what was going on, the other students suddenly started sitting on the floor as well.
“Now that I think about it, we weren’t told to stand in specific.” “I suddenly feel tired.
I’ll just sit for a while.” “The morning sun is hell.
I want to sit down too.” Clarissa looked around, wondering if they were all really following Alice’s bad example.
Their teachers were all standing so why would they sit?
“That’s quite a good idea.” Micheal suddenly said and sat on the podium.
“Miss Stella, won’t you rest your legs for a bit?” He politely asked and though Miss Stella, who did not expect this sudden development, was a bit hesitant, she adjusted her glasses and went, “Well, why not?” She sat down on the podium, sticking her legs out so she could stretch them down the side of the podium like she would when sitting on a chair.
Clarissa watched this and shut her eyes tight, grimacing subtly.
Now, the teachers were all sitting down, so what was her excuse for remaining standing?
Disgruntled, she sat down on the floor.
Amira and Philip also sat down on the podium.
Philip did not see a problem sitting down.
He could’ve started it but his pride wouldn’t let him.
He felt that he would be perceived as weak by the students, and he couldn’t afford that.
His reputation and first-time impression were already suffering, so he did not want to make his image any worse.
But since they were already doing it, he felt relieved and shamelessly sat on the podium.
But he couldn’t understand something.
Just as he feared being perceived as being weak, didn’t Alice have that thought?
She was relatively strong and he would not admit that she was stronger than him, but she was strong.
So, sitting on the ground first like that and claiming she wanted to rest, didn’t she fear that they would perceive her as weak?
Staring at her carefree attitude and how she had no worries whatsoever, he could tell that she did not care for such things.
In a way, he was envious.
She probably didn’t have to meet anybody’s expectations, maybe that was why she was so carefree in her dealings.
Whereby, he, on the other hand…
He clenched his fists and lowered his head…
She knew nothing.
“Okay, now that we’re all seated and more relaxed, are we comfortable?” Miss Stella asked and they all responded.
“Yes,” “Oh my, so lively.” She chuckled.
“I should’ve thought of this sooner.” She said and then caught sight of someone approaching.
“Ah, he’s here.” She said.
“The third male trainer.” The students started turning their heads back, hoping to get a glimpse of who it was, and of course, their eyes could not have found a better feast.
“Sorry to disappoint you, students, but he’s not a well-known Awakened like you all wanted, and he’s not an S-class either.
But he is well versed in his own area.” Seriously, who would care about him being a well-known Awakened or an S-class?
With a face and body like that, just having him by the side yelling at them to put some effort would boost their morals a hundredfold.
Alice, who was busy minding her business and hoping they would hurry and start already, felt a familiar wavelength, or to say, the energy of someone she was more than familiar with.
She suddenly perked her head up, feeling his approach, but she thought it couldn’t be him.
After all, what would he be doing in her school, right?
Didn’t he have a job to do?
He just got a new job after quitting his old one and…
Alice paused and her face slipped from her hand.
“No way,” she exclaimed in realization.
“Did he really…?” “Did you just figure it out?” Leo asked and Alice looked up at him.
“It’s him.” “Ah,” Alice exclaimed and watched him walk towards the podium.
It was really him.
Why did he apply for a job at her school?
“Sorry to have kept you waiting,” he spoke up.
“My name is Mark Steiner and…” His eyes fell on Alice, who was still quite perplexed, and he smiled, loving the fact that he was able to surprise her.
“I’ll be one of your trainers.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Awn, he smiled.
That handsome devil Ah, speaking of which, I forgot to mention this, Leo toned down his appearance to look a bit more younger so he could attend highschool without anyone asking questions as to how old he was.
And then he toned down his handsomeness a bit after the first day of school.
He liked the attention on the first day but he figured that he would only start attracting unnecessary the wrong kind of Audience and it would inevitably disturb Alice.
So, he decided to be a bit logic about this.
Sorry, I missed these little details.
They always happen to slip from my mind.
So, at the moment, the students would think Mark is way more handsome and matured than Leo
