- Chapter 293 - Chapter 293 When pushed to the edge, even the devil's hand would look nice
Chapter 293: When pushed to the edge, even the devil’s hand would look nice Chapter 293: When pushed to the edge, even the devil’s hand would look nice Hearing that someone from the agency did something like that, Alice’s eyes blazed, and she turned to Miss Stella.
“Did you hear that?” She asked and for some reason, Miss Stella gulped.
It wasn’t like she was the one to blame but guilt haunted her heart for some reason.
“The bastards from the agency are all shameless.
Noah should thoroughly sweep his house if he doesn’t want flies and rodents to taint it for much longer.” She said over gritted teeth and then sighed, letting out the thick rage that was accumulating in her chest.
She looked at Susan.
She thought she was a girl around her age but she was over 27 years old.
She looked young for her age.
No, she couldn’t even see her face clearly, thanks to the veins, but her body structure was what she looked at.
She was more on the petite side, it would seem.
“Please, continue.” Alice said, even though she knew this story would only wake up sorrowful resentment in her heart.
But that was what Alice wanted.
Only with a lot of resentment can one seek revenge in the afterlife of the next life they lived.
Susan couldn’t leave her younger sister in the hands of those thugs so she went after them with her nearly awakened powers, even if she was weak.
But when she got there, she found her sister dead.
She had been defied over and over but the bastards who took her.
There was no part of her body that hadn’t been sullied and no part of her that hadn’t been bruised.
Her reddened body floated in the bloody tub they had left her to float in, and her lifeless eyes, which had lost their color, stared at Susan.
It haunted her.
How many times did her younger sister scream for help?
How many times did she call out to her?
It was a nightmare that she was slowly losing her mind.
She wanted to get back at the bastards that did this to her but they overpowered her quite easily.
Just when they were about to rip her to shreds, with their ugly masculine instincts, she got away.
It helped that she had the power of speed, even if it wasn’t much help.
She didn’t run far and had to hide, holding her breath and cursing in her heart at the people who were chasing after her.
Susan was devastated and that was when the hooded man approached her with a ‘miracle potion’.
Even if she wasn’t one to believe in miracles, at that point in time, she needed a miracle.
A miracle that could save herself and get revenge on the people who reduced her happiness to that.
“Take this,” the hooded man said.

“And you will be stronger.
Strong enough to defeat your foes.” It was like a sweet whisper, slithering into her ear and corrupting her heart.
Susan had her values but what good would her values do for her in the face of trouble?
She took the potion and drank it right away.
She gained the strength of a thousand in an instant and was able to defeat the people who were after her.
But they were more than that and there was a leader who commanded them.
She wanted to go there and teach them a lesson.
Make them beg for mercy and then end their wretched life.
But the more of the potion’s power she used, the more changes occurred in her body.
She started noticing the red veins and how her thinking was often clouded by hate.
It wasn’t normal, so she decided to go find the hooded man and ask for a cure.
She had not eradicated the thugs entirely, but her instincts told her that if she kept fighting, she would lose her very sanity, and there would be nothing worth fighting for.
Her husband was still alive.
He just lost his sight, that was all.
So, she needed to stay alive and be there for him.
Just when she was searching for the hooded man where he had approached her, he appeared before her.
But there was something different about him.
He was taller, and it seemed like he was a different person compared to the one who approached her the first time.
He stood before her wearing a mask to hide his appearance while resting his back on the wall.
He was the one who told her that if she was able to annihilate Alice, he would free her from the corrosion.
And that was how Susan ended up coming to Alice’s doorstep after watching her for a few days.
Susan sobbed.
“I…
I had no choice.” She said.
“But it doesn’t mean that what I did…
Kegh…
Wasn’t bad.
I tried to kill an innocent child…
Kegh…
For my own benefit.
I’m sorry.
I really am.” Alice watched her as she cried and sobbed.
Do so many people suffer like this?
She wondered.
Those thugs were probably a gang that did these sorts of things so often that their hearts were no longer human but that of boars.
They deprived the happiness of so many homes and pushed women like Susan to the brink where they had no choice but to accept help from even the devil.
She gritted her teeth and raised her fist.
Susan thought she was going to hit her but Alice punched the ground instead.
It broke, her fist sunk into the broken floor and it smoked.
“Tell me,” her voice rang through Susan’s ears.
“Is there nothing else of the hooded man that you remember?” Susan, unfortunately,, shook her head.
“No, I could not see the face of either of them.
But…
Kegh…
the only distinct feature was that the one who sent me to kill you wore a mask.” ‘A mask, eh?’ Alice turned her head towards the floor she had broken.
She raised her hand from the floor and then wiggled her fingers.
‘That’s way too abstract to think point as a clue.’ “The address of those thugs is…” Susan wanted to say something but her eyes kept rolling backwards.
“Address…
Of…” “Hey, snap out of it.
What’s going on with you?” Alice asked, but her mouth had already begun to foam.
“Shit!
What’s this?” But even as Susan struggled to keep her sanity, her mind was already getting taken over, yet…
Her fingers moved on the floor, writing down the address by scraping her very flesh and using her blood as ink.
Damian covered his mouth.
The sight was horrible.
Alice looked at the address on the floor and then at Susan, who had apparently died, and she sighed.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of this.” She said and reached her hand to close Susan’s eyes when Susan caught her hand.
Susan squeezed her hand tight and then tried to bite her hand off like a mindless zombie, but Alice used her other hand, fingers pressed together tightly, and decapitated her.
Susan’s head dropped to the floor, and Alice sighed.
“Your death will not be in vain.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah That’s tragic, honestly
