- Chapter 295 - Chapter 295 That elixir works magic
Chapter 295: That elixir works magic Chapter 295: That elixir works magic Damian now shared the same height with Leo and the same build too.
He was no longer that cute munchkin Alice liked to adore, grabbing his face and rubbing cheeks together.
But he was still handsome, so she would let it slide and still treat him as the munchkin she wanted him to be.
But that would be after they were done with what they had to do.
Walking down the street, Alice strode with her head high and her hands in her jacket pocket.
She wore a nose mask to hide her identity while walking alongside a handsome guy walking.
They drew attention but she was already used to this kind of attention.
And it seemed like all eyes were on Damian this time around.
Well, only a blind man would ignore this kind of beauty that was walking past them.
“Where are we going, Alice?” Damian asked and Alice stopped.
“We’re going to meet my friend.
I’ll introduce her to you.” She said.
“Your friend?” Damian looked surprised.
“A girl?” “What?
Did you think I didn’t have friends?” She stepped towards him, imposing her body towards his but he stepped back, turning his face away in embarrassment.
“Well, not that.
I just…
Didn’t know you had a girl-friend.” He said to her, and Alice rolled her eyes away, accompanied by a few steps sideways.
“Why so?
Do I come off as someone who keeps only guys close by?” She asked and that would’ve sounded rather offensive if he agreed so he said, “No, I didn’t mean it like that.” He frantically said in an anxious attempt to avoid her from getting the wrong idea.
“I just never saw you with any female friends before.
I’m sorry.” He brushed the back of his neck.
“We haven’t even known each other for so long so I don’t have the right to say that.
Please, forgive me.” He was about to bow his head when she dropped her hand on his shoulder and said, “It’s fine.” She said.
“But you seem to forget that Miss Stella is also female and she’s my friend, so…” “Friends…” Damian slowly darted his eyes away, his face flushing.
“…your age.” “Oh!” Alice exclaimed and then thought about his words, coupled with his expression.
She ended up laughing really hard.
Damian watched her laugh but didn’t know what to do about it.
He was shy and a bit inclined and seeing her laugh made him extremely nervous.

What if people started calling her names?
He didn’t want that so he wrapped his arms around her and said, “It’s alright.
Please, contain your laughter a little bit.” He said and a stunned Alice blinked.
His arms were…
Around her.
His arms were holding her so firmly that she could no longer ignore that he didn’t look like a kid anymore.
“I get it.” She said, dropping her hand on his chest.
She planned to push him back but once her hands felt his pectoral muscle through the white shirt he was wearing, her eyes lit up.
They were firm.
As firm as the others.
Now, this was one additional good body that she could not ignore.
“That elixir works magic.” She said, subconsciously fondling his chest while they were out in the open and he squinted his suddenly teary eyes.
“A-Alice,” he called, huffing gently.
“What are you doing?” She looked up at his flushed face.
That look of embarrassment on his face as he tried to cover it up with the back of his palm made him look extra cute and…
Subconsciously, she licked her lips.
But as soon as she did that, she snapped out of it.
What was she thinking just now?
“No, wrong thoughts.
Bad thoughts.
Let’s not try to do that to an innocent kid like him.” She slapped her face.
She was glad she was wearing a nose mask; if not, he might’ve seen her lick her lips so shamelessly.
‘I need to snap out of it.’ She thought.
“Alice,” Damian innocently called.
“Are you okay?” Alice looked at him.
Ah, that sweet innocent boy was still in that perfectly grown body.
He was adorable.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Alice said, getting her act together.
“Anyway, let’s keep going.” She started walking backward.
“We don’t want to keep Diane waiting.” “Alright, but is it safe to walk like that?” He asked, following her and she shrugged.
“Nothing’s safe in this world.” She remarked and then Damian’s eyes widened.
“A-Alice, look out.” He warned, reaching his hand out towards her.
“Behind you.” “Hm?” But by the time she turned her head, her back had already collided with the huge man who had been walking on his own in her direction.
“Huh?” She raised her head and she could hardly tell the face of the man she had bumped into because the sun was right behind his head.
But she could tell one thing though.
He was putting on shades.
“Who are you?” He asked, his voice deep as a stallion.
“Alice,” Damian summoned courage and reached for Alice’s hand, pulling her away from the bully man and began to apologize.
“I’m sorry for the trouble.” “Why are you apologizing?
It’s not like he’s offended.” Alice said and turned her head towards the man.
Now that she was standing upright, she could see his face clearly and something told her she had met him before.
Tanned skin, a fan of Hawaii shirts, and thick sunglasses to hide the color of his eyes.
Hm, now where did she meet someone so quiet and ‘brute’ looking as him?
“You are that kid, right?” He suddenly asked, and Alice tilted her head.
“Well, there’s both of us so which kid are you referring to?” She asked him.
“I’m talking to you.” He pointed at her.
“I remember seeing you for the first and last time at the council meeting.
Though, I didn’t have much interest in what you lots were going on about because you dragged me from my vacation to listen to jack-shit.” His deep voice sounded threatening but to Alice, there was nothing threatening about this man.
“Hm, now that you mention it, you do look familiar.” She said, placing her hand on her chin.
“You’re a guild master, right?
What guild was it again?
I was sure I would remember because it had something to do with your appearance.” “Wh-what?
A guild master?” Damian was in shock and almost panicked but Alice calmly thought it through before snapping her fingers.
“Ah, right.
You’re the guild master of the Brute guild.
Aren’t ya?” She smirked.
“And your name is…” “Samson!” A very familiar female voice called out to him from behind and Alice’s ears perked.
As Samson turned around, Alice dashed past him and ran after the owner of the voice.
“Hey, where are you going?” Samson yelled at her, but she ignored him, and the owner of the voice, Diane, saw a dashing light approach her.
Before she knew it, she was off the ground.
In one fell swoop, Alice lifted her off her feet with a cheerful laugh and said, “Diane, it’s so nice to see you again.” She said, pulling down her nosemask and they all stared in shock.
Just what was going on?
Diane looked at Alice’s beaming face.
A smile she had never seen before.
It was quite an impossible thing to get out of someone who lived a dog and the last time they met…
She bit her lower lip, her eyes growing teary as she called out, “Alice, you’re so troublesome.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Awn, so cute you guys.
you’ll never guess why Samson is there, hehe
