Chapter 320: Starting with that guy
The supplier became a bit confused, wondering if he had given the truth away without knowing it. He could not see the face of this lady… He could not even tell what her level was because of the Awakened dampener artifact.
He was sure her stats were nothing at the moment, yet she exuded this force that broke his will, broke his concentration, and broke his reasoning. He made a costly mistake.
“In any case, will you tell me about your boss? He sounds like a ‘wonderful’ person.” Alice said. Her tone was laced with mockery. She knew he would not say anything more but she just wanted to buy some more time.
More time to get her hands on her money, that is.
“And now, for our last bid,” the auctioneer announced, catching their attention for some reason and Alice looked at the screen. “We have yet another supply of miracle potions.”
Alice’s eyes grew dark.
“Ah, to think there was another batch.” She exclaimed.
“I made a mistake with a tongue slip.” The supplier said but Alice’s attention was no longer on what he had to say. “So, I have to kill you. Don’t take it to heart.”
“Whatever.” Alice said and stood up. “Just answer this question, is your boss in the building right now?”
“Uh? I… I just said I’m going to kill you.” The supplier said, wondering if Alice had gone crazy from the news.
“So what? I asked you a question, so answer me.” She demanded, but the supplier stood his ground setting his spear, ready to attack. “So, you won’t even answer the question of your victim?”
“He… He is. But what does that matter? You’ll be dead either way.” He declared but her lips curled up.
“Who said I was going to die?” She asked, and Vector walked in with a few workers rolling a cart filled with cash.
“Miss Black,” he called and then saw the situation he walked into. “What… What’s going on?” He asked.
“Oh, great timing vector.” She said, walking towards him. “Is that my cash?”
“Yes, Miss Black.” Vector answered but he looked at the supplier and a nonchalant Alice staring at the cash.
He gulped. It looked like things did not go well with them. Just… What had happened for the supplier to be on guard like that? What did they talk about?
“Get… Get away from her!” The supplier yelled. “I’m going to kill her and you’ll get caught in it as well. So, get away.”
“What on Earth…?” He glanced at Alice who was still acting nonchalant. Those words about killing her… Did she not hear them?
Alice was busy counting the money with her eyes and when she was sure it was complete, she said,
“Okay, that’s about it.” She said. “Now,” she stretched her hands towards it and the cash, as well as the carts, disappeared into her ring. “I don’t mind showing you guys what I have up my sleeves, after all… You’re all going to die.”
“What?”
“Starting with that guy.” She pointed at the supplier and in the blink of an eye, she had kicked him.
The supplier found himself hitting the glass with a sharp pain on his face, dulling his senses, and then he fell onto the stage, landing directly on the single crate of miracle potion that was being auctioned off.
The bottles broke and his body… He could hardly feel his body.
He coughed out blood as his fingers trembled.
He could not move a muscle and any attempt to stand was futile. It was like he had been paralyzed by that one lick up his face.
‘What… What just happened?’ he wondered. ‘I didn’t… I didn’t even see her coming.’ his eyes were fixed on the boot he had been kicked out from, and he found Alice staring at him from above. ‘She was so fast.’
Alice watched the commotion she had created. They were all scurrying away but she did not plan to let any of them go.
She knew the faces of those who needed to die and the faces of those who needed to have a limb or two broken.

She turned around to see Vector, as well as the workers, were trembling in fear.
“I told you, Vector.” Alice said, flipping her hair behind her shoulder. “I’m not a good person, so resent me.”
Vector had crashed on the floor, his eyes dilated and his body trembling. Just what… What was going on?
Alice stared at his pitiful state and felt kind of sad for him. If she killed a pitiful guy without knowing his crimes, she’d feel like a true murderer.
“Vector, have you ever killed anyone?” She asked him but he was too frightened to speak. “Come on, I don’t have all day.” She checked her watch. It had been an hour since she entered the auction house.
So, she had an hour left to clean up the mess she created.
“Who is making a ruckus in my auction house?” The master of the auction house arrived with a few of his men behind him.
Alice glanced up from Vector at him. Just like Vector, he also had a skin mask, covering his real body.
“By chance, are you the one who makes those miracle potions?” Alice asked him, her eyes scanning his internal state.
He, too, had consumed demon blood, just like Vector.
“I’m not that capable.” He said and she sighed. So, the big boss was still at large, hm? She glanced back at the supplier. She doubted he would still be able to speak about his boss after what she did.
“Alright, I’m shutting this place down.” She declared, earning a frown from him.
“What?! Who the hell are you? Do you think you can just walk in here and…”
“And I’m killing all of you as well.” She added, shocking them. “You can thank me when you get to a better place. Because,” her right eye glowed blue as she stared at the wicked energy buried in all their hearts. “…I’ll be saving you from becoming mindless zombies.”
