Chapter 33: Reconstructed body features and vessles Chapter 33: Reconstructed body features and vessles *Yes, yes.
You simply took a nap.
And while you took that nap, two months went by.
Bravo.* The voice said in the most sarcastic tone it had ever sounded.
And a confused and surprised Alice asked, “What?
What did you say?” *You heard me.
Two months went by while you slept like a log of wood.* Alice was shocked.
Two months?
It had been two months?
She immediately turned to where she kept the rest of the meat and discovered they had gone bad.
She fell to her knees and crouched down as invisible tears flowed down her eyes.
“My meat!” She wailed.
She dropped her hands on the ground and started regretting all her life’s decisions like she had lost the most valuable thing in her life.
“Why did it have to end like this?” She asked and raised her body, yelling at the ceiling.
“Take me instead and give me back my precious meat.” *…* The voice was speechless.
Dumbstruck, was more like it.
*What sort of comical nonsense are you displaying?* He asked.
“You won’t understand.
It…
It was so good.
I wanted to treasure it and slowly devour it.” She sobbed.
“It left me too soon.
I wish I knew this would happen, I would’ve eaten it instead.” *Well, that meat is the reason you were asleep for two months straight, sleeping beauty.* It said.
“What?
How come?” *Digesting monster meat isn’t simple for humans.
And since it was the first time, your body had to go dormant for all that power to settle down.
It usually takes only a month but since you are so much, it took a lot longer to settle down, resulting in your longer sleep.* Alice couldn’t believe it.
There was such a thing.
“Why didn’t you warn me?” *Oh, I’m sorry.
Who was the one who told me I was talking too much and should just say the key points?* It was mad at her remark.

*I told you you would find out yourself and you just did.* “Ugh, how was I supposed to know it was something so important?” *Then next time, listen to what I have to say before you cut me off.* Alice pouted.
It wasn’t her fault.
*In any case, the power has settled down in you.
Punch the wall.* “What?
Are you crazy?” *Just do it.
Would I tell you to do something that could harm you?* Alice gave it a thought.
Would he?
The voice felt offended.
*Just do it.* “Alright.” She walked towards the wall.
She decided to use a little bit of strength as she was worried she would break her knuckle if she punched too hard.
The wall wasn’t exactly like the pillars that broke.
She tried to break it with her hammer once but it didn’t work.
So, her fist…
With the little strength she mustered up, she punched the wall, only for it to shatter and her mouth widened in shock and disbelief.
“Shut…
Up.” She exclaimed and looked at her fist.
“What just happened?” *It would seem your body constitution had been strengthened a lot as well.
Your vessels, the level of strength you possess, and even your features are all improved.* “Wait, what features?” She looked down, only to discover her boobs had gotten a little bigger, not that she needed it for someone her age.
Her waist was not much slimmer than it already was, and her hips were slightly expanded.
She no longer had the features of a regular teenager but was looking like someone in her 20s.
And hot too.
Thankfully, the top she had been wearing, though torn and automatically turned into a crop top, had been loose and spacy from the start so she did not feel uncomfortable with her body expansion.
Even the shorts she was wearing were no longer loose but had become a perfect fit.
“Ahem!” She cleared her throat, her face flushing a little.
“And what use does this have in fighting monsters?” She asked.
*Hm, I don’t know.
It’s all the meat’s doing.
But at least, you got a little taller.* “Thanks?” She was unsure if to take that as a compliment or if that was the voice telling her she had been a shorty all along.
She wasn’t that short, right?
*There’s another thing.
It healed your permanent scars.* The voice said and Alice looked down.
It was right.
All her scars were gone and her skin never looked better.
Those long strokes along her skin disappeared like they were never there.
“Anyway, what else did the meat do?” She asked as she made to tie her hair up and avoid it from distracting her in the long run.
*The benefits of taking in monster meat only come in the first time.
After which, it’ll simply boost your strength little by little.
But I know you don’t care about the benefits and just want to eat so I’ll have to prepare it for you.* “Yes, please do.
This is the only thing that has gotten me satisfied since you came into my life.” She said with a mischievous smirk.
*Hm, why does that sound ominous coming from you?* “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She shrugged, feigning ignorance.
*Well, since that’s settled.
I believe it’s time to clear the remaining floors and come face-to-face with the boss.* Alice smirked, cracking her knuckles.
She was far more powerful than she was when she was facing the minotaurs and feeling like shit.
Even her hammer got lighter in her hand and it didn’t feel like it was way bigger than her anymore.
She grew.
Not only in appearance but in strength as well.
With this, she was confident that she would clear the floor in no time.
There’s this theory that the higher the floors, the more powerful monsters one would face.
And that meant the fight would only get more dangerous.
But for Alice, whose entire body and strength had been heightened, taking on those monsters that would’ve been a big problem to others, felt like a chore to her.
She swept the floor with these monsters, taking them out as fast as she could, just so she could get it over with.
“I want to see the sun already.” She exclaimed and sighed.
*Calm down.
We’re almost done.* The voice said to her.
*It’s time to take on the boss.
And after that, you can go home.* “Hm, home.” Alice exclaimed, staring at the huge door in front of her.
“I wonder where that is.” The huge door had these weird spiral symbols.
The spirals intertwined till there was none left that weren’t intertwined.
It looked so weird and suspicious but Alice wasn’t there to use her brain.
“So, it’s time to go in, right?” She asked.
*Yes.* “Hehe.” Alice snickered and raised her hammer.
*Alice, what are you doing?* “Making a grand entrance.” She said and charged into the door with her hammer, smashing it and creating a ruckus.
“Oh honey,” She smirked devilishly.
“I’m home.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Its time to face the boss.
