Chapter 339: I’ll do it
“Elizabeth Harts who have lived in England until now, and… An S-class awakened. She will be joining us from today.”
Everyone was stunned, and their eyes widened. Miss Stella had introduced that girl… That petite-looking girl… As an S-class awakened? No way!
She had short white hair that had a fringe covering her entire forehead. She also had this stoic and cold expression and that look in her eyes… It was as if everything else didn’t matter to her.
Well, why would it? She was a young girl with so much power. The likes of her mates who were weaker than her had nothing to do with her.
“Miss Stella, is that true?” Fae asked and Miss Stella barely smiled, feeling vexed at the questioning of her students.
“Do I have a reason to lie?” She asked. “In any case, you guys should treat her warmly.” She said. “I’d have asked Clarissa to explain to her where we’re at but…” She glanced at Elizabeth. “She claims she will only follow and listen to anyone stronger than her. So,”
Suddenly, all lies went to the back seat where Alice was carefreely minding her business.
‘What is this ominous feeling I feel?’ she wondered, pursing her lips.
‘Alice, I hate to do this to you but I’m afraid even I can’t handle her.’ Miss Stella thought. ‘My father should’ve explained this part to you as well but…’ she furrowed her eyebrows and then sighed, releasing it. “So, I will be entrusting her to…”
“I’ll do it.” Leo suddenly said his hand and Alice let out a sigh of relief.
She had pleaded with him to take this burden from her shoulders because, from the looks of things, she would have to accommodate a brat she didn’t care about just because it was the teacher’s orders.
“Leo? You?” Miss Stella looked surprised, but if she thought about it, it was exactly a surprising thing.
Leo was Alice’s familiar so he was probably taking the burden on her behalf. But… Was he strong enough to handle Elizabeth?
“Are you sure?” Miss Stella asked and Leo nodded.
“Alice wouldn’t do it either way,” he said. “So, I’ll just take it on. I just need to explain things to her, right? It’s not like she’ll follow us around for the rest of the time.”
“Yes, but…”
“Just speaking won’t cut it.” Elizabeth suddenly spoke, her voice chilly and cold. One could sense the pride she had in that firm ton of hers.
She was a confident menace.
“I know that,” Leo said, standing up to his feet. “So, why don’t I beat you at what you’re good at?” He suggested and pointed at the window. “We’re going out to the fields anyway, so let’s head there now and you can judge if I’m fit to lead you or not.”
Elizabeth’s firm gaze did not waver as she stared at Leo, who hardly held an expression of pride or resolution.
It was as if he was half heartedly carrying this out for the sake of it and that made her quite announced.
“Alright, let’s see. But don’t start crying when I show you the other side of the world.” She said and turned around, planning to head to the girl’s locker room and change since she was the only one in her school uniform while the rest were wearing their gym vests.
“Be my guest,” Leo responded.
Damian gulped and asked Alice,
“Will this be okay?”
It was as if the entire class wanted to hear the answer Alice would give because they quietly looked at her. Miss Stella, in particular.
She had no idea the kind of strength Leo had so she was worried.
“Oh, relax,” she said in a laid-back tone, interlocking her fingers behind her neck. “I bet you she won’t hold a candle to Leo.”
“Why the hell are you so confident?” Clarissa asked her and she opened her eyes. “That girl was a S-class. There’s a huge difference between an exceptionally talented A-class and even the least talented S-class. So, how can you be so laid back about what’s to come?”
Alice heard her out and grinned.

“Well, it’s cause there’s nothing to worry about.” She said. “If anything, we should be worried that Elizabeth does not lose her pride as an S-class when she loses to someone who she thinks is an A-class.”
“Wait, what does that mean?”
“Is Leo not an A-class but an S-class?”
“If so, it would make sense, but…”
“Explain yourself!” Lance yelled, getting up from his seat. “What did that mean? Are you, in fact, an S-class?” He asked but did not give Alice time to respond as he added. “Haha, that would explain why I lost to you.”
“Well, technically, you won.” Alice said. “We all saw it, right?”
“Don’t mock me.” Lance yelled. “You made me win.”
Alice rolled her eyes.
“Man, give it a rest. You wanted to win, didn’t you?”
The class had suddenly become quite lively and Miss Stella cleared her throat, putting their argument to a rest.
“Now, now, let’s all head out.” She said. “And though I don’t want to say anything, you can draw any conclusions at the end of Elizabeth’s challenge with Leo. Is that clear?”
“Yes, ma’am!” They all chorused.
“Now, get up and head out.”
Alice sighed and got up. Seemed like the peaceful days were slowly coming to an end. To think they would admit an S-class at a time like this.
Seriously, what did those old people want from her?
Well, she could only just do what she could for now, but if they were going to cross the line, then they better be prepared for the consequences cause she wouldn’t stay docile for much longer.
Out in the fields, the students from class A, as well as other students, were gathered. Even the trainers were all there.
“Is it true that class A got an S-class transfer student today?” The kids from the other class were already gossiping.
“Yeah, I heard it when we were heading down.”
“Wow, that means they’ve got a boss in their class now. The new student will definitely pull the reigns,”
“Yeah, that’s supposed to be the case but for some reason, it looks like something else is going on.”
They wondered why Class A was getting ready for what looked like a duel when they were only conducting an aura test.
Since Elizabeth only wanted to listen to the person who could best her in their class, they decided to test everything. It would take their time but who wouldn’t want to watch such a thing first thing in the morning?
“Wait, is the S-class transfer student planning to fight the strongest in their class or something? They should know they don’t stand a chance.”
“Hm, it looks like we already know who the winner is.” The sure-looking guy said with folded arms.
“Who?” Someone asked him and his face twisted.
“Huh? What do you mean who? It’s definitely the S-class transfer student.”
“Yeah, I know but…” They pointed at the scene. “Which of them is the S-class transfer student? They both look so hellishly strong.”
