Chapter 340: …I declare Leo the winner
From the middle of the fields, in the arena that had never been used by anyone were Leo and Elizabeth, both giving off tremendous aura flow.
Emanating from their bodies was a sea of pure strength and power, intimidating all those who set their eyes on them.
Without even looking, those around felt it.
It was dangerous, so surreal and…
“Wow, what a view,” Alice said, perking up her glasses.
Leo emanated a white aura, while Elizabeth emanated a purple aura.
“Hm, doesn’t that color contradict her personality?” Alice carefreely asked.
Unlike everyone else who was being intimated by the aura output, it was nothing but a soft breeze against her skin.
Damian was trembling, but he held Alice’s shoulders and gritted his teeth. He needed to keep his eyes open and watch carefully what was going to unfold before them.
“Darn Leo, I know you’re not even releasing a quarter of your aura but everyone is already trembling.” She exclaimed and Damian gulped.
Leo wasn’t… Releasing a quarter of his aura? He got even more frightened.
Just how powerful was he?
“Ahem, I… I think that’s enough.” Miss Stella said and they both stopped their aura output.
She exhaled in relief.
“Elizabeth,” Miss Stella called,
“Yes?” Elizabeth responded, not bothering to be respectful in the least.
“Are you sure you released your aura to the max?” Miss Stella asked and Elizabeth answered, still coldly and calmly.
“Yes,”
To Elizabeth, she had intimidated everyone in the surroundings and her aura had even gotten past the school gates. She was proud that she had even gotten the teacher, who was secretly an S-class healer, to sweat.
She felt so full of herself but then… She got the most shocking news.
“If that was all then,” Miss Stella shook her head. “For the aura test, I declare Leo the winner.”
“What?!”
Elizabeth was in shock, and so were the rest of the class.
“What is the meaning of this?!” She demanded with a calm tone, but the look in her eyes was deadly.
She was probably trying to intimidate Miss Stella but none of it worked.
“I said what I said. While both auras were clashing, you probably focused on the outcome and not on who was causing the outcome.” She said and gritted her teeth. “I wish I could say more but this is as far as I’m allowed to say?!”
“No! I will not accept this. How could a mere A-class have more aura output than me?” She asked and Miss Stella shook her head.
“If you’re still unsatisfied, you can prove yourself during the rest of the test.” She said and watched Leo get down from the arena. ‘Why do I have a feeling he didn’t use his full power?’
She couldn’t say more than the results she called, because then she would be giving out a secret that the public was yet to know.
While their auras clashed, Leo’s Aura had actually swallowed up whatever impact Elizabeth’s Aura was creating and that was what gave her chills.

That terrifying power… No normal human could have such power.
Well, she guessed they weren’t normal, to begin with… She glanced at Leo talking to Alice and her glasses glinted… those two.
Elizabeth was seriously vexed, but she decided to take it that the criteria of this place might be different from that of England. Yet, she still couldn’t believe she lost to an A-class.
“Wait,” her eyebrows furrowed. “I couldn’t even get a reaction from him.”
While she had been calmly standing in one place and letting her aura rage, which was to be expected of her character, Leo did the same thing.
With his hands in his pockets and his eyes fixed on her, he did not flinch one bit when faced with her aura.
Just… How was that possible?
Everyone else trembled. Everyone… She gasped… Why was that girl so calm?
That brown-haired girl that had been with the boy, why was she so calm?
‘I feel like they’re making a fool out of me. How dare they?!’ she thought, keeping her expression straight and simple. ‘I’ll show them what it means to go against an S-class. I’ll give them the privilege of failing at my hands.’
While everyone was stunned by the results, the students from Class A were not too surprised. Though, one couldn’t say they had expected it but… They had seen too much from the both of them, Alice and Leo, to not even consider them as S-class. All that remained was to give them that tag.
Clarissa, who took one good look at the prideful Elizabeth, clicked her tongue and declared she would rather swallow her hate and root for Leo than be behind that obnoxious pride.
No one was allowed to be rude to Miss Stella. No one!
And thus, the entirety of Class A did not look at Elizabeth in a favorable light. Reason was… She had been rude to Miss Stella and held no regard for her as their teacher.
In this battle, she was on their own… Not that she needed any support.
“Alright, we got the mana testers,” Miss Stella said. “We got it on short notice but it’s one of the best in the agency,”
Alice looked at the mana testers and memories flashed through her mind. She had some kind of history with that thing, didn’t she?
“Um, Miss Stella,” she called out, smiling nervously. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to conduct a mana test.” She said. “We already know she’s an S-class, so why bother?”
The students looked at her, wondering if she was trying to hide something. That anxious look on her face made it clear that she was hiding a secret and it made them eager to know.
Who knows? Leo just might be an S-class and they were lying all along.
Mark, who saw Alice acting this way, immediately recalled what had happened back then, when she was getting her mana tested.
Things… Did not go well.
‘Wait, is she saying Leo has just as much power?’ he wondered, worriedly looking towards the machine. ‘If so, then that machine will…’
“Why are you interrupting?” Elizabeth suddenly asked her with that cold and rude tone of hers.
“Huh?” Alice turned to her.
“You’re being a nuisance by interrupting when you don’t have a say.” Elizabeth continued. “Do you think we’ll stop the test just because you say so? When powerful people are speaking, weaklings like you need to shut up and just watch.” She turned away from her. “That’s the only way you’ll survive in this world.”
Her words were right out harsh and insulting, and something dark suddenly began to rise from Alice’s body.
“Ha!” She laughed, there was no smile on her face. Nothing was funny. “Could you repeat that? I didn’t quite catch your words, your ‘Highness.’ Did you just call me a weakling?” Alice said and Elizabeth signed.
“It’s cocky bastards like that tend to die quick.” Elizabeth said, paying her no heed. “Just because you’ve got some power, you think you’re something. What you have isn’t power, it’s…” Her eyes widened as she sensed killing intent but before she could react, other forces had jumped in.
