Chapter 394: Things are about to get dangerous
“Alice, be real. How can you think of falling asleep after seeing what’s going on?” Diane asked.

“It’s because I feel sleepy,” Alice said as she yawned. “But I guess I can hold back a bit.” She looked at Miss Stella. “Miss Stella, are you okay? You look like you’re lacking three days of sleep.”

“Ah, is that how I look right now?” Miss Stella asked. “It’s nothing that grand so don’t worry.” She finally concluded the healing and stood to her feet. “Anyway, I don’t know how long we can stay here since the entire place is swarming with monsters, but I’m sure there should be reinforcements entering the building after the explosion.”

“Then, that means we’re going home, right?” Alice said and then stood up but then she sensed it.

She suddenly sensed a demonic aura coming from behind Miss Stella, but there was nothing there. Was she imagining it, or…?

Then, a red gate spawned in the speed of light. Miss Stella turned around, but she was too sluggish from losing too much stamina, and a monster axe swung at her.

‘I can’t dodge.’ She thought, horrified but someone quickly pulled her by the hair.

She landed on the floor but she was alive and uninjured. She looked up and found Alice with a deadly glare, staring at the axe she had caught in her hand.

“Would you look at that?” She asked, her grip hardening and the blade of the axe cracked. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” She crushed the axe and yelled. “Come out here, you walking cow. I’ll take you on.”

From the gate emerged a minotaur with glowing red eyes, and as it stepped out, it blew on the horn it was carrying with all its entire strength, summoning the rest of the horde from within the gate.

The ground started shaking as not just the monsters coming from within the gate but from the other parts of the school building began to rampage.

“Things are about to get dangerous,” Alice said and glanced back at the horrified students, as well as her friends. “For you guys, that is.”

She seemed relaxed. So, there might actually be nothing to worry about.

“Diane,” Alice called. “You still have ‘Hermes heels’ on, right?”

“I never got anywhere without em,” she said, displaying the booths she was wearing.

Since she could customize them, she wore them with everything she wore. So, she didn’t even need new shoes. Plus, they were super comfortable.

“I’m going to let out Domus,” Alice said. “He’s bigger now, so he’ll be able to carry seven people on its back and hold at most four with its claws. You know what I’m asking?”

“You want me to get them all on Domus, got it.”

The minotaurs had started to charge, but Alice could not let a single one of them get close to the students, so she took out her hammer, changed it into an axe in a split second, and split their heads off their shoulders with a single strike.

It was an instant strike, one where the others could not fully understand what they saw but it took out all the minotaurs that were out of the gate.

She was able to detect a few monsters raging towards their direction from the lower floors but before they got there, the students should be out of the building.

Clarissa, without being told, froze the entire wall. The windows were already destroyed from the wave of Alice’s strike so what was the difference with breaking the wall?

“Lance,” she called and Lance looked at her. “Smash the wall,” she said, and seeing he finally had something to do, his eyes lit up.

He grinned and threw his punch, demolishing the entire wall that was affected by the ice.

“Go now,” Alice said, releasing Domus from the ring outside.

Their eyes widened as they saw the crimson griffin appear out of nowhere, and it shrieked, spreading its wings as it had been let out for the first time in a while.

“I’ll treat you to something nice later, Domus.” Alice said, rubbing its head. “But for now, we need to work.”

The kids were trembling in their boots at the sight of the crimson griffin.

“Stop being wimps and get on,” Diane said and started picking them one by one, activating the effects of her boots. It made her move at the speed of light. She threw them on Domus’s back one after the other. “Better hold on and if you’re scared, just pass out.”

And they did. Three out of the seven she put on Domus’ back passed out.

There were over 20 students and only 5 of them were awakeneds.

They might be able to hold off a bit while the regular students were taken down.

“I’ll try to seal the entire place to stop monsters from coming in,” Clarissa said and used another skill to freeze their surroundings, including the red gate, but she had her doubts that it would be able to stay for long.

Minotaurs were tenacious and strong so they would break out soon. The ice barricade she made wasn’t as strong as the one she made earlier with her bow and arrow.

“Thanks, Clarissa. This should help a bit.”

“We’re ready for the first drop.” Diane announced, but then they received an attack from below, causing one of the unconscious kids to fall off. “No!” Diane yelled.

Alice turned and saw what was happening.

She immediately flew down to catch the kid and seeing this, Diane sighed in relief. Who were the bastards that fired that shot?

She looked down and saw the professionals at the bottom, staring at Domus as if he were a threat.

Ah, they did not take that into consideration.

Alice was able to catch the student, who fell and landed on the ground quickly.

“Hurry, we need to take down that monster and save the students in the building.” One awakened, a mage, yelled but Alice yelled back.

“You will do no such thing!”

They turned to find her glaring murderously at them.

“Attack my Domus one more time and I’m feeding you to it.” She threatened them and her words sent chills down their spines.

“Who… Who are you? Are dare you threaten us? Are you in cahoots with the monsters?”

“Don’t be foolish.” Alice said and threw the kid towards them. “You better stay still or I’m taking you up there to fight the minotaurs with me.” She said.

“Minotaurs? What do you mean?”

Alice nearly clicked her tongue at them. They had no idea monsters were rampaging inside the school, and that was why they were just standing outside, waiting for the monsters to break through the iceberg. They were so incompetent.

And they dared to fire their attacks at her Domus who was helping far more than they were.

The thought of it made her angry and she felt that if she talked more with them, her already low IQ would only fall lower.

“Figure it out yourself. I’m too busy to be chatting with you.” She said and turned around. She watched Domus fly down with the students in its back and some hanging from its claws. “Don’t you dare fire any more attacks at the crimson Griffin. If not, you’re dead.”
