Chapter 395: Now, shall I get started?
“Figure it out yourself. I’m too busy to be chatting with you.” She said and turned around. She watched Domus fly down with the students in its back and some hanging from its claws. “Don’t you dare fire any more attacks at the crimson Griffin? If not, you’re dead.”
Her threats got them gulping down hard. She was just a student, so how were her words hitting them so heavily?
They shouldn’t mind the words of a child, but they couldn’t just do whatever without knowing what the situation was, so they decided to wait and see with their own eyes.
It wasn’t too late to launch a full attack if the crimson griffin started attacking them.
Domus finally landed on the floor and they saw the students in its claws and on its back.
“Great work, Domus.” Alice patted him. “Did you get hurt by the attack just now?” She looked around but it didn’t look like it got hurt.
Luckily, their attacks were flimsy.
The students got down and Alice glared at them.
“If you want to help, stay as far away from the school building as possible. That’s the least I can say.”
She went back up with Domus and then they carried more students. She couldn’t trust humans and their fears so she decided to guard Domus while carrying a few of the students as well.
It didn’t take long before they got everyone out, including Steph, Maki, Damian Lance, Miss Stella, and Diane.
So, the only people remaining were Alice, Leo, and Clarissa, who kept reinforcing the ice to prevent the monsters from breaking in.
“Good work, Clarissa,” Alice said to her as she patted her back and Clarissa finally stopped.
She was sweating a lot. If not for her mana training, she might’ve collapsed by now.
“Leo, please take Clarissa down?” She asked and Leo nodded, grabbing Clarissa’s arm.
He carried her in his arms while she stared at Alice, wondering what she was going to do.
From her side eye, Alice was able to tell that they were gone. She searched the entire building with her perceptive skill, which she got from her third eye, to make sure there were no more students.
“Now,” she opened her eyes. “Shall I get started? I wonder if I can crush gates with this power of mine?”
Well, there was only one way to find out.
The ice stopping the monsters broke on cue, and the monsters charged towards her with their weapons, planning to rip her into pieces, but she smirked, and in the blink of an eye, they were all on the ground.
She activated her gravity skill and crushed every single living being in the building, but unfortunately, she could not crush the gate.
Yet… She did notice something. The gate shifted and a little bit of it cracked.
“Wow, so it’s not indestructible after all.”
She stopped the gravity and by this time, the monsters were already a bloody mess. Their flesh melted and their bones broken.
Alice took a look at the gate. It had a crack at the corner.
Did this mean she could destroy gates as well? This was particular. Very particular.
‘I wonder,’ There were still monsters in the gate but if she willed it, she just might be able to close the gate with the monsters inside.
The rules were to destroy every monster in the gate or at least, the boss monster, to get the rewards. The gate would disappear afterward if it was that type of gate, but… who made those rules?
Was it the demons? If then, could she use the little demonic energy she had in her to influence the gate?
“Oh man, I’m doing a lot of thinking just after waking up.” She mumbled, looking at the gate in amusement. “But I’m more fascinated by this discovery, should I try it? If I add a little bit of the demonic energy to my gravity impact, can I crush the gate?”

Demons made the gate so if she had the same power as them, she could also destroy the gate, right?
“Only one way to find out.” She released the gravity to the maximum, not minding that the building would collapse along with it, and in the process, focused on the demonic energy circling around her heart.
She manifested it through her fingertips and it sizzled around the gate. It was going according to how she thought.
The gate… It was breaking.
With a great shatter, she destroyed the gate. Something no human had done before. Seeing the gate shatter, Alice’s eyes glowed red in delight.
“This is it,” she exclaimed and began to laugh like a maniac. “This is the kind of power these bastards use that they think it’s okay to erect havoc in this world,”
“Alice,” Alice heard her name from Leo and turned her head to find him standing next to the wide exit that used to be a wall with windows.
“Oh, hey. I just discovered something interesting.” She said and he approached her.
“Blink your eyes twice,” he said, staring at her red eyes, and though she did not understand, she did it, and her eyes went back to normal.
“Was there something in my eyes?” She asked but he shook his head.
“No, it just looked weird for a minute.” He looked towards the place the gate had been and he stared in astonishment.
He saw it with his own eyes. He saw as she destroyed the gate and how crazy she looked as she accomplished it.
It was the demonic energy. He could feel it from her eyes and her body.
“Did you use demonic energy?” He asked, turning to her.
Destroying a gate wasn’t something a mere human could accomplish, even with the power of a constellation. It just wasn’t done.
Because the power that created those gates belonged to an opposite power of the constellations. They don’t mix and thus, they have no effect.
He knew she had demonic energy but for her to accomplish it so early on… And she didn’t even ask him how. As if she had become extremely brilliant all of a sudden.
“Only a little,” Alice said. “But it goes well with ‘gravity impact’ so I was able to destroy the gate. Isn’t it amazing?”
“Yes, it is. Now calm down.” He said to her but then the foundation began to shake. “It looks like the school building is going down.”
Alice simply shrugged and said,
“It’s fine. I never liked school anyway.” She turned around and started heading for the exit. “Shall we get going?”
Leo stared at her for a while, glanced back at the mess she had made, and then sighed.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
Alice walked out in mid-air as if there was an invisible staircase.
“I feel so cool doing this,” Alice said and Leo, following in toe, nodded.
“Yeah, it is pretty cool,” she smiled and hugged his arm.
“What should I have for dinner?” She asked, staring at the sun that would set in an hour or two.
“I wonder,”
Behind them, the building was collapsing completely, but they were in their own world, strolling down in mid-air as if the commotion had nothing to do with them.
“I should really treat Domus to something nice. Do you think he’ll like goblin meat or kobolds?”
“I’m sure he’ll eat anything you feed him so it doesn’t matter.” Leo said. “But maybe you should roast them a bit. I think Domus has gotten an appetite for burnt food.”
“We have Diane to thank for that,” Alice said and laughed. “I’ll get her to roast them up for him.”
Their feet finally touched the ground amidst the sea of dust that had been created from the crumbled building.
“Shall we go get Domus?”
