- Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 She would not abandon them as the world had abandoned them
Chapter 72: She would not abandon them as the world had abandoned them Chapter 72: She would not abandon them as the world had abandoned them Alice was up against a hundred fake Big Stach that were strangely as powerful as S-class awakeneds, thanks to Big Stach ingesting demon blood.
That was their theory.
Now, they had no idea where Big Stach got demon blood from or if his skills were a result of the demon blood.
No one had seen Big Stach use this skill, neither of them present there, at least.
So to say, this skill was his trump card.
“So, what do you mean it’s complicated?” Alice asked, her senses heightened to the Max, in case any of them tried to harm the kids and Diane.
*Remember the minotaurs?* “Yeah?
What about them?” *Just take it as you’re taking our minotaurs.
Even if you kill the leader, the others will still be able to attack on their own.* “But this is different.
These are clones, created from one body.
If the body dies, won’t they die as well?” She asked, irritated that she was not understanding the situation as simply as she should.
Why couldn’t they apply basic knowledge to this situation?
How was Leo going to explain to her that she would understand properly?
*In fact, just aim to kill them all.
It’s as simple as that.* Because in the end, she was stronger than all of them combined.
Unless Big Stach consumed more of the demon blood and made himself, as well as his clones, go berserk, she could take them easy peasy.
But the problem here was that she could not exactly fight them all at once and protect the people behind her at the same time.
They were a burden that she wished to carry…
This time.
She would not abandon them as the world had abandoned them.
She, too, has been abandoned but she would make sure to liberate them.
If this was the only good deed she could set her heart on then she hoped she would be able to accomplish it without any loss.
Everything else could go to hell, honestly.
Now, she just had to wait for the smug and notorious Big Staches to attack.
She was certain that if she stepped out of range, even for a second, the rest of the 100 would attack them.
She may be fast but she could not guarantee that no one would fall victim to her rash action.
“Alice,” Diane called and Alice glanced at her over her shoulder.
But before Diane could say anything, another one of the Big Stach attacked from the side.
She had to leave Diane’s side and kill that one off.
But at that same moment, the rest started attacking.

She did her best to fend them off but she was not precise, as she was mindful of how she swung her hammer in front of the kids.
One slip and she would be the one ending their lives with her bare hands.
“Come on, you gotta be shitting me.” She gritted her teeth and hardened her step on the floor, moving at top speed and slashing through the necks of all the Big Stachs that were in her path.
She couldn’t make a mistake, she told herself.
Focus on killing them all and then go for the main body, she told herself.
But had she been too slow?
Or was she just negligent because once she swung her hammer-axe on the last one in her path, she heard Diane scream, “Hells flame,” she looked away from her opponent for a second, only to catch a glimpse of Diane struggling as Big Stach held her by her hair.
She tried using the flames from the gauntlet but they were no more than firework sparks on the enhanced body of Big Stach.
He was bigger than he was before and even more bigger than the clones, indicating that was the real body for sure.
In a word, he was a few inches bigger than the minotaurs she fought at the dungeon tower.
“Haha, did you think you could get away from me?” He asked and licked her cheek with his disgusting long tongue and cackled.
The kids were scared.
Diane was scared and shaking but did not relent and kept trying to use the gauntlets that had been given to her but they did nothing but only amuse Big Stach.
Alice’s blood boiled, but at that moment, she had looked away and was distracted for a brief moment.
The other Big Staches took this as an opportunity, and each attacked her at once, planning to slam her to the ground with their fists and enhanced strength.
“Hahaha, look at that.” Big Stach pointed at the supposedly defeated Alice and the kids were shaken even more greatly.
Diane watched, tears gathering in her eyes.
Would she really never be able to escape this fate?
“Hells flame!” But this only made her even more relentless.
“Your struggle is starting to grow annoying.” He said and grabbed both gauntlets on her hand with his huge hand, crushing them along with her arms,, and she gave out a bone-chilling scream.
“Yes, yes.
That’s music to my ear.” He said and glared at the kids shivering in fear.
“Now, does any one of you want to do what she did?” He asked but there was no response, only fear, and he cackled.
“Haha, I thought so.” They thought they had landed the punch and were all grinning but when the dust had died down, their grins fell as they saw Alice standing unscathed with a nearly transparent forcefield around her.
It had blocked their attacks combined and had only left an impact on the ground beneath his feet.
“Impossible.” One of Big Stach’s clones claimed, in shock and eyes widened in disbelief.
“I think it’s time to get a little more serious.” She said, as blue lightning gradually sparked around her and her hammer.
She raised her deadly gaze at them and released a wave of energy that swept them away and thankfully, she was far from the kids, so it was nothing more than a rough breeze blowing at them.
The sand raved as well, so they had to shut their eyes to avoid some getting in their eyes.
So, no one saw how Alice, in a split second, cut a total of forty clones in just a few seconds.
All they heard were the sounds of her hammer crushing the ground, increasing the amounts of sand and dust in the air.
And then there was the sound of crackling lightning.
“What the hell is going on?” Big Stach asked, as he couldn’t feel the presence of his clones anymore and thanks to the sand covering the entire place, he could not use his physical eyes to see what was going on either.
“You wanna know?” He heard Alice’s voice right behind him and his eyes widened.
How did she…?
But before he could turn around, Alice dug her hand inside him like a spear, through his thick muscles and grabbed his beating heart.
“Ah, for a moment, I was more than certain that you didn’t have one.” She said and then got serious, glaring at him with her cold and deadly eyes that looked like they could kill him if he made even one wrong move.
“Now, let her go.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Yeah, rip his heart out
