- Chapter 80 - Chapter 80 Fifty-two humans remaining
Chapter 80: Fifty-two humans remaining Chapter 80: Fifty-two humans remaining In a dark, desolate plane where bodies were stacked at every corner, human bodies and the sky were dyed red and black.
The moon?
There was none.
The sun?
Nowhere to be found.
The dark and red clouds had filled the sky for as long as she could remember.
She picked up a torch stick, lit it on fire, and started dropping the fire in every heap around, one by one, till they had all caught on fire.
This girl watched the burning bodies and sighed.
It was a hard decision but it was better to burn them than let them get savaged by the monsters.
She threw the burning torch aside and walked away, tucking her hands in her pocket with her giant hammer resting on her back.
The lonely and dark desolate land used to be filled with people and buildings.
It used to be filled with so much hustle and bustle.
“All in the day’s work,” she heard a familiar voice and raised her head to find a tanned lady with rough pigtails, wearing ragged clothes like they were in the stone ages, waiting for her up ahead, and She nodded.
When there was nothing but survival in one’s mind, they wouldn’t even bother about their clothes anymore.
She bet they would eventually end up naked, fighting monsters.
This thought made her giggle.
“Oh my, what’s so funny?” The lady asked but she shook her head and said, “Thelma needs to get new clothes.” She said and the lady looked down at what she was wearing, twisting her lips.
She was Thelma.
“Well, no one’s gonna make ’em, so where am I gonna get it?” She asked and wrapped her arms around her neck.
“Or are you gonna forfeit that fancy robe of yours?
It’s pretty neat.” “Please, I barely scraped this as a reward.” She said, pushing Thelma’s face away and Thelma laughed.
Then, a blue notification screen popped up for both of them.
It read, *Fifty-two humans remaining.
The last calamity is upon you.
Survive the last calamity, defeat the demon, and get the ultimate reward.
One wish.* Alice, the one who has survived through so many hardships and was among the last fifty-two humans standing on the planet, wanted that wish.
If she had that wish, she would be able to bring it all back, she thought.
“I guess it’s finally starting.” Thelma said, and Alice nodded her head.
“So, let’s get started.
It may be our last fight, so let’s put our all into it.” She raised her fist and Alice bumped her fist.

They both laughed.
The last fifty-two humans on earth were considered the strongest, and among them, it was funny how there was no S-class awakened.
Well, there were, and including herself but they only became S-class in a breakthrough during the second calamity.
The world decided to put their fate in them and…
She shook her head.
“Hey,” they heard a male voice and as they raised their heads, they found Mark, the Berserker, as he was called.
“We want to start planning, so we are grouping up.” Alice stared at him.
He was a guy of few words and they barely held a single conversation.
But she believed he was like her, one with many scars.
But unlike her, who chose to smile through her scars and pain, he liked to keep quiet about it.
“Mark, Mark.” She muttered and closed her eyes.
****** Alice squinted her eyes, hearing muffled noises in the background as she slept.
She could tell they were trying to be quiet but did they not know she had high perception?
Even the faintest whisper that had her name could wake her up.
Why were they talking about her and who were they?
“Awn, she sleeps so cutely.
Her pajamas are cute too.” She heard a female voice and her eyebrows twitched.
Couldn’t she see she was trying to sleep?
To open her eyes was a problem since she still wanted to sleep more.
“Miss Stella, please don’t disturb Alice any longer.
She will get mad.” That was Mark.
‘Ah, thank you.
Get her out, whoever she is.’ She hugged her pillow.
“Oh, nonsense.
What could a kid her age possibly do?
I heard she’s strong but I don’t believe it’s anything I can’t handle.” This Miss Stella claims and Alice picked up a pillow and threw it directly at her.
Stella dodged just in time, but her glasses got caught up in it, and it followed the pillow to the wall, cracking it.
Yes, Alice cracked the wall of her room with a soft pillow.
Mark, who was standing at the door and his head was very close to the pillow’s aim, let out a breath of relief.
If that thing had hit him, he might’ve been sent flying down the stairs.
They both, from looking at the crack in the wall, turned to Alice, who was breathing angrily in annoyance.
With gritted teeth, she demanded, “Get.
Out.
Of.
My.
Room!” *Bam!* She shut the door in their faces.
A dumbfounded Stella blinked twice and then said to Mark, “Well, she’s definitely promising.
Now, can you get me a new pair of glasses?” Alice walked towards her bed, scratching her hair in annoyance, and then dropped on it, her face falling on the soft pillows.
“People can be such a pain.” She grunted.
“Now, I can get back to sleep.” *Don’t you want to know who that is?* Leo asked.
“Don’t wanna.” She said, her head still buried in the pillow.
“Remind me when I wake up.” Stella was a grown lady who was wearing round glasses and a very friendly face.
She was busty, too, had nice curves, and was probably a people person.
Was she a teacher?
She looked like she taught kids and that was why she underestimated Alice for being a kid of 17.
She probably already read her information from the agency and yada yada yada.
She just wanted to sleep.
A few minutes later, Alice’s eyes shot open and she sat up, sniffing the air.
Why…
Why was her room filled with the aroma of freshly made chicken sauce pasta?
She turned her head sharply to her door.
The scent was seeping in through the tiny line space underneath her door.
Was it coming from the kitchen?
No way.
It was too direct.
But she loved the scent.
Ah, it was making her hungry.
She got down and started walking towards the door, sniffing the air.
And then, when she opened the door, she found a big bowl of chicken pasta on the floor, in front of her door, and an electric fan blowing the aroma directly into her room.
“Ah, so it really does work.” Stella said and smiled heartily at her.
She has been standing aside, waiting to see if this plan would work.
“Are you finally awake dear?
It took me quite the effort but I’m glad it worked.” She walked towards her, picked up the bowl, and handed it to her, her boobs bouncing at her quick movement.
“Here you go.
We didn’t have a good first start but I hope with this, we can get along.” She smiled.
“How about it?” Alice looked at her, down to her boobs that looked heavy, and then at the big bowl of pasta.
Her lips curled up and she grinned.
“Thanks.” She accepted it.
“But I’m gonna need seconds.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Hehe, Mark probably already told her the secret.
The only way to Alice’s good books is through her stomach, hehe.
Do that and you can be her best friend for life.
And in case anyone is confused, the first part of this chapter is something that happened in her past life
