- Chapter 81 - Chapter 81 You're an S-class awakened
Chapter 81: You’re an S-class awakened Chapter 81: You’re an S-class awakened Alice ate with enthusiasm, enjoying the delicious and spicy meal, and ignoring Miss Stella’s gaze on her.
Once she was done with the first bowl, she picked up the glass of milk that had been prepared by the meticulous Miss Stella.
Alice didn’t know what she was trying to do, or what she stood to achieve by looking so excitedly at her as she ate, or why she was even going so far to cook for her.
Was she related to Mark by chance?
She glanced at Mark standing in the corner, leaning on the wall with his arms folded.
Hmm, they didn’t have any similarities.
If anything, they were complete opposites.
While Mark was inclined and a bit dark around the edges, she was bright and often overly excited.
Not to talk of her glowing blond hair.
It was very similar to gold.
Just looking at her, one would think she was a Greek goddess.
“More?” Miss Stella asked and Alice nodded, wiping the milk drops left on her lips.
“Yeah,” Alice had taken down two bowls and thank Goodness there were enough ingredients because Miss Stella was not backing down one bit and would continue trying her best to please Alice, just to see her smile.
The third batch was still not ready though, so Alice would have to wait a bit.
As for Miss Stella, that smile she kept up while staring at her with the sparkling eyes of an inquisitive creature made Alice believe she was hiding something.
“So, can I ask what you want from me?” Alice asked, “Did the agency send you?
Wanna know my ins and outs?” “Well, you can say that.
But my business here has nothing to do with the agency,” Miss Stella said, taking the seat opposite her.
“I’m just curious about you, Miss Alice.” She smiled.
Alice gazed at her with narrowed eyes, stating she didn’t believe she was there without the agency involved.
She rolled her eyes towards Mark and said, “Good morning,” Mark looked up at her and gave a light nod before responding, “Good morning, Alice.
Did you sleep well?” Why didn’t he answer that on his own?
Her sleep was going well before they interrupted with their supposed whispers.
“Who is she?” She asked, straightforward and precise.
Since Miss Stella wasn’t going to state her reason for being there on her own then she’d rather ask the person who let her in.
“This is Miss Stella,” Mark answered, unfolding his arms.
“Yeah, I know that much.
She’s an awakened, right?” Alice added, shifting her gaze to Miss Stella who was still smiling.
She activated her third eye and scanned her energy level.
She has quite a large amount of mana; her intelligence seemed to be incredible as well.

How Alice was able to tell which was intelligence, perception, strength, and agility was actually simple.
She noticed it after meeting the council.
Aside from seeing their huge energy waves, she could narrow the perception of her third to various parts of them that showed their stats.
The arm signified their strength; feet signified agility; the brain was intelligence; the eyes were for perception; and the circle flame around their heart stood as their mana core or something like that.
She just knew she could narrow her gaze to those places and observe the energy fluctuations around those places to know their levels.
And right now, the largest energy fluctuations were around Miss Stella’s heart and brain.
And she had to admit, it was massive.
“You’re an S-class awakened.” Alice said and Miss Stella paused, shocked at being found out so soon.
Mark was equally shocked.
How did Alice know that?
“And you’re not that much of a fighter either.” She added, causing Miss Stella to burst out laughing.
It was loud but gentle at the same time.
Maybe because her voice was soft.
She laughed so heartily that her eyes produced tears.
“You’re so talented, Miss Alice.” She said, swiping the tears from the corner of her eyelids.
“Thanks,” Alice said, taking it as a compliment, whichever way she meant it.
“Now, I’ll ask again.” She folded her arms.
“What do you want from me?” Miss Stella suddenly sat composed on the chair, interlocking her fingers together and staring at Alice with a knowing gaze.
“You’re right, I did come from the agency.
And as you deduced, I am a noncombat S-class awakened.
Which means, I’m not here to fight you, so you don’t have to be so on guard against me.
” She said, but Alice did not move one inch, simply blinking and waiting for her to state her business already so she could eat the rest of the pasta and then go back to sleep.
‘My lazy days were numbered, you know.’ she thought.
“In any case, I’m not that known, so I was surprised that you were able to recognize me as an awakened and an S-class.” She added.
“Well, even if you were famous, I still wouldn’t have known who you were.
I don’t really follow the trends, so…” She yawned.
“Oh?
Then did you figure it out through a skill of yours?” Miss Stella asked but Alice responded lazily.
“Not telling.” “Hm, that’s okay.
We’ll have plenty of time to get along.” She added, causing Alice’s eyebrow to twitch.
What did that mean?
Was she planning to stick around?
“Okay, I think I’ve delayed this too much.
Let me quickly state my business here so we can start getting along.” She smiled happily but Alice was getting a bad feeling about it.
She looked towards Mark, who kept a straight face, still leaning on the wall, and then back to Miss Stella.
She looked overly excited.
Why did it feel like the thing that was making her excited would turn out to be a nightmare for Alice?
“First off, let me introduce myself properly.” Miss Stella said, delaying the climax of her sudden appearance.
“I am Stella Martins, I am an S-class healer.” *No wonder she has such high mana levels and intelligence.* ‘Is that supposed to concern me?’ *Her motive for coming here should concern you.
So, getting to know that she’s a big deal should also concern you.
You know, healers are rare and it’s even rarer to find one that’s S-class.
It’s no wonder she’s unknown.
Her life could be in danger, just spilling out that information to the public.* Alice could only roll her eyes.
Why did none of this interest her?
Ah, that’s right.
She was feeling sleep-deprived.
*You shouldn’t feel sleep-deprived; after all, you’ve been sleeping for two days.* Leo said and her eyes shot open.
‘What did you say?’ *Exactly what I said.
Now, pay attention to what the lady’s saying.
She’s about to say something important.* “Miss Alice, you’re going to be in my class so I look forward to getting along with you.” Miss Stella announced.
Alice immediately got up, startled and her chair fell backwards.
Her actions confused Miss Stella but Mark seemed to have seen that coming, so he covered his face and looked away.
“What did you say?” Alice asked her, “Tell me you’re kidding.
This is a joke, right?” She turned to Mark who was doing his best to hide his face.
“It’s exactly as I said, Miss Alice.” Miss Stella said and got up with her.
“You’re going to start school next week and in my class too.
I will be your teacher.” She smiled, “I look forward to getting to know you.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Hm, here we go with a brand new ark
