- Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 I wanted to reach children, especially those with broken hearts
Chapter 83: I wanted to reach children, especially those with broken hearts Chapter 83: I wanted to reach children, especially those with broken hearts “Miss Alice is young and immature.
She likes to eat and doesn’t want to engage in any drama that compromises her freedom.” Mark started listing out, making them wonder about his motive for doing so.
“Miss Alice is a girl who grew up in a harsh environment.
With no warmth.
She…
Needs a lot of care and I hope the association, as well as the agency, take that into consideration when dealing with her.” He raised his head, stood up tall, and said, “So, yes.
I agree with the motion to send her to school, even if it’s just to get a diploma.” What Mark felt when he was saying that, was the feeling one would get when wishing the best for the person they care about.
He wanted Alice to live a life that everyone else, well most people, got to live.
He wanted her to meet normal people, make friends if possible, and share tales of how her day went awful with a math teacher giving her a ‘D’ on a test she worked so hard to solve.
He wished she could be like that and that was why he agreed to the motion.
But Alice just saw it as an attempt to send her to hell.
Alice, with folded her arms and tapping her feet ferociously on the ground, looked at Mark with annoyance.
He knew right away that she did not like that idea.
“You could’ve just said, ‘No, she’s fine the way she is.
Have a great day’, but nooooo, you went ahead and said yes.” She raged at him.
He only told her he affirmed the decision and did not speak about all the words he said to the council.
“And I’m guessing because I’m soooo special,” she rolled her eyes.
“…I was assigned to Kiss Stella’s class.” “Well, you can say that.” Miss Stella said.
“Though it’s a normal school, we can’t have young awakeneds causing trouble, so they have special classes.” “Great, why don’t they just build a whole different school for young awakeneds to learn.” She said, half heatedly.
“Hm, it’s been commissioned but the project hasn’t started yet.” Miss Stella said and Alice paused.
“For real?” No, she shook her head.
School was school.
It was still hell.
*Oh, get a grip.
You seem to be forgetting that you’re the strongest person alive right now.
If you’re still so scared of being bullied then you’re stupid.
In fact, they should be scared of you and not the other way around.* Leo scolded her and she dropped in tiredness, pouting her lips like a relentless teenager.
She knew that but…
She just didn’t like it.
“So, Miss Alice, I’ll be expecting you in my class in a week.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.” Miss Stella said with so much cheer and enthusiasm, forcing Alice to roll her eyes towards her and then sigh.
“Miss Stella, why are you a teacher?” She suddenly asked.
“Oh.
I did not expect to get that as your first question, but I will happily reply.” She walked towards Alice and then squatted before her.
“You see, from the moment I got into college, I knew what my calling was.
I wanted to reach children, especially those with broken hearts.” She smiled softly.
“I wanted to show and give them the love that they need.
And that was even before the apocalypse.
I don’t know if it was because of the passion I had in my heart but I awakened as a healer.
And the most powerful one too.
I didn’t look at my powers as something given to me to be privileged; I looked at my powers as the hope I could instill in the hearts of many, especially children.
Helping them heal from the wounds they got when their family was torn right in front of their eyes or the likes…” She shook her head.
“I wished more than anything to heal their hearts and that is why I put my all into my profession as a teacher.” Alice stared at her.
Amidst all her plenty talk, she could only make out the fact that Miss Stella was fond of children.
She loved them, in fact.
So, instead of going to raids and becoming popular for being the strongest healer, though she didn’t know to which extent her healing capabilities were.
“You say you want to heal the wounds of kids, then why are you only teaching the special class?” Alice asked.
“Oh, but I’m not.” Miss Stella said and got up, placing her hands on her hips and bouncing her melons for breast in a proud manner.
“I’m just the homeroom teacher and class advisor of that class.
The students in that class are under my supervision, so any complaints from the other teachers will be directed to me.” She said and then started looking a bit angst.
“And I get a lot of complaints.
My students are very…
Well, lively.” “I’ll say,” Alice rolled her eyes.
They were a bunch of immature awakened kids.
She wouldn’t expect anything less.
‘Sigh, I guess I’ll have my hands full taking care of those brats.’ she thought with a proud shoulder.
*Don’t act like you’re any better.
You’re so very immature.* Leo burst her bubble and she clicked her tongue.
‘Just let me gloat, will you?’ “So, Miss Alice,” Miss Stella called and Alice looked up to find her in a more modest pose, her hands down and smiling gently at her.
“I do hope you come to school and…
Get along well with your mates.” Alice stared at her and then closed her eyes, falling back in exhaustion.
She threw her hand up in the air and waved.
“Yeah, yeah.
I got it.” She said, and Miss Stella’s face lit up.
“That’s great.
I’ll take your measurements right away for your uniform.” She said, stretching out her tape that came out of nowhere.
She came prepared.
Alice stared at her with a slightly disgruntled expression, looked at her smile, and then the tape in her hand that sorta resembled a killing weapon.
Was it just her eyes?
It must’ve been her eyes.
“Wait, are you also a part-time tailor?” She asked but Miss Stella shook her head, laughing lightly, and said, “Oh, don’t be silly.” She chuckled.
“But I do own a boutique.
It’s ‘G’ house.” She said, and Alice’s mouth fell.
When she said she owned a boutique, Alice thought she might’ve been referring to a menial boutique.
But that wasn’t it at all.
She was actually referring to that very big and expensive clothing district along their expensive street.
“Ah,” Alice exclaimed.
