- Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 Indeed, I wouldn't get paid enough as a regular teacher
Chapter 84: Indeed, I wouldn’t get paid enough as a regular teacher Chapter 84: Indeed, I wouldn’t get paid enough as a regular teacher The ‘G’ house was the name of the fashion district and not just one or two buildings.
It was the entire street.
The ‘G’ practically stood for grand as it held so many grand products.
They sold high-end quality stuff, and not just clothes too.
Even Alice, who was a dog in a den, knew of that famous place.
But of course, she could never dream of stepping foot in there.
That was the place this high school teacher claimed to own.
Alice looked at Mark with disbelief and he nodded his head.
“You should ask Mark to take you there sometime.
He comes to buy clothes from me all the time.” Miss Stella included.
“Ah, could that be where he got all the erroneous and blinding pink clothes and supplies from?” “Ah, I think so.
He did get a big batch of pink supplies just recently.” She said, and Alice shot her gaze to Mark who looked away like a guilty crab.
“I think he said something about renewing the pink in one of his spare rooms.
I’m guessing it’s yours, right?
That room you were sleeping in.
It had a lot of pink.” Alice rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, tell me about it.* “I didn’t know you had such a taste.” Miss Stella said, placing her hand on her cheek in a girly delight.
“It’s so-” “Please, don’t.” Alice interrupted her.
“It’s not my style at all.
I’m forced to live in that pink hell.” She grumbled.
“Oh?” Miss Stella glanced at Mark.
“I don’t really know what to say about that.
But I believe you two can sort it out later.
Use your words.” She smiled.
Alice shook her head.
If talking about it could get her away from that pink hell, then it would’ve worked.
After all, Mark made it specifically clear that, even if she were to change the clothes, the pink room stays.
“Anyway, I know S-class awakeneds are loaded, but you don’t go on raids or actively work with your powers, so how were you able to open that huge and expensive fashion district?
I know teaching won’t get you anything, so how did you do it?” “Indeed, I wouldn’t get paid enough as a regular teacher, but I’m not a regular teacher, haha.
And the amount I get paid by the government and the agency, keeping those young awakened in check, is huge.

So I go by just fine with that.” “And with that, you opened a fashion district.” Alice said but she shook her head and said, “I give it all to charity, mostly to orphans.” ‘Christ, where does this one come from?’ Alice exclaimed in her heart, squinting at the blinding light emanating from her pure heart.
*If the world was filled with people like her then it would be a better place.
But of course, these ones are prone to fall prey to the wicked and scheming faster than anyone else.* ‘You said it, not me.’ “Well, I’ll be off now.” Miss Stella said.
“Miss Alice, can I call you Alice?” “Yeah, sure.
I’m going to be your student, after all.
Calling me ‘Miss’ isn’t exactly the way to go.” Alice said, scratching the back of her head.
“Then I guess I’ll call you teacher.” “Ooh, that’s so lovely of you.” She hugged Alice, squeezing her head against her melons and Alice tried to look away.
This was oddly…
Comfortable.
When last did she have someone to hug her like that?
She couldn’t remember.
“Alright, alright.
Get away.
You’ve overstayed your welcome.” Alice nagged but Miss Stella took that as a light gesture.
“Let’s not forget your measurements.” Miss Stella said, once again stretching out her killing- I mean, measuring tape.
Alice stood up and got her measurements taken.
“You’re pretty mature for a 17-year-old.” Miss Stella said, poking her boobs with her pen but Alice threw her gaze away.
‘Look who’s talking.’ Miss Stella literally had melons for boobs.
“But oh well, you’re an awakened with special powers, nothing out of the ordinary there.” She said.
“Well, I’ll get back to you when it’s ready.” She suddenly took out her phone and stretched it towards Alice.
“What’s this?” Alice asked, referring to her intentions.
“Your number, please.” “Gosh, I don’t think I should be cultivating this sort of close relationship with my teacher.” Alice folded her arms, staring at her nonchalantly.
And this made Miss Stella blush in embarrassment.
“Well, I…
I do think it’s more important to have this close relationship with my students.
After all, I’m not just a teacher.
I’m an awakened and the best at healing too.
So, if you…
Get into any trouble, I’ll…
Heal you up.” She blushed.
Alice couldn’t tell if she was being gullible about it.
She just wanted to be close to her.
But having a healer as a close confidant wasn’t so bad.
“Alright,” she took the phone.
“Ah, but I don’t remember my number off-hand, so hold on a sec.
I’ll go grab my phone.” “Oh, alright.” Miss Stella said, taking back her phone.
Instead of Alice taking the stairs, she decided on a quick route, leaped up, and landed on the top floor in a split second.
One reason was so Miss Stella would know what she was dealing with.
She might’ve heard about her from the agency but she definitely didn’t know what she was capable of, to have underestimated her from the start.
But even with this, she doubted Miss Stella would understand the gravity of her powers.
She got back with her phone and exchanged numbers.
“Great.
I’ll keep in touch.” She hugged Alice once more before leaving.
‘How does a gullible and sweet lady like that take care of so many brats?’ Alice wondered.
She had to have a few fighting skills if she wanted to control other awakened.
Alice turned to watch Mark coming out of the kitchen.
He had been silent almost all through her conversation with Miss Stella.
She knew he was a guy of little words but to have been quiet and only observed throughout was to a whole new level, she thought.
Maybe he just needed to observe and confirm that Miss Stella had no other hidden motives that could put her, Alice, life at risk.
He dropped the bowl of freshly dished out pasta and dropped it on the dinner table, announcing, “Alice, the last batch is rea-” he didn’t even need to complete his words before Alice sped towards him and sat down.
“Home sweet pasta.” She said, salivating like a hungry dog.
She took in a long and hard whiff of its delicious aroma and then let out a satisfied sigh.
“Such good stuff.” Mark watched her, feeling satisfied.
He also dropped his plate, which had a minimal amount, compared to hers and sat down to eat.
While Alice ate, something seemed to have cropped up in her mind and she decided to speak on it.
“Hey Mark, can I ask you something?” Alice asked, and Mark lifted his gaze from his food to look at her.
“What is it?
Is something bothering you?” He asked and she pursed her lips, wondering how to bring up the topic.
“Well, it’s about Diane and the kids.
Where were they taken?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Okay, so I just wanted to say how happy I am that u have reached this point.
