- Chapter 91 - Chapter 91 I'm just trying to teach him a lesson
Chapter 91: I’m just trying to teach him a lesson Chapter 91: I’m just trying to teach him a lesson “I’m going to burn you useless junk to the ground for messing with me.” Justin said, and the fire started raging; his body caught on fire, but his clothes didn’t burn.
He made sure to wear his fire-resistant clothing this time before coming out to challenge Alice, just in case there was a need to use his fire skills.
“You’re clearly insane.
Do you know this is a residential building?” Devon yelled at him but he snickered and said, “Do I look like I care?
You will all burn, muhahahaha!” He laughed like a lunatic and Devon decided to teleport him out but before he could, Alice poked him and asked, “Is this a good enough reason to fight back and not be tagged as a fighting maniac?” “Well, yes.
You’re trying to stop a lunatic, so…” “Haha, then I’ll take it from here.” She said and stepped forward.
She watched him rage and said, “You don’t even come close to a lava eel.” “What?!” “Let me test my new skill.” She said, stretching her arms out.
“Are you still underestimating me?
Do you know that I can burn you and everyone here to the ground and leave no traces?” He dared to say but she ignored him and spoke what was on her mind.
Her worry.
“Hm, I don’t know how powerful it is.
Hope I don’t end up being the one to destroy the building.” This ticked Justin off and he yelled, “Are you ignoring me?” Alice looked him in the eyes and said, “Yes, Yes, I am.” With that, her eyes blazed, and the gravity around Justin increased tenfold, forcing him down to his knees and putting out the fire raging from his body.
“You…
What are you…?” He was finding it hard to even speak.
It was hard.
What was she doing?
“Phew, I was using as minimal output as I could.
Now, let’s add a little bit of it.” She said, and the gravity increased a lot more, forcing him to kiss the ground.
She kept adding till his body started cracking the ground.
“Do you want to taste more of my skill?
I’m not even at a quarter yet and you can’t even move.
Isn’t that laughable?” “Miss Alice, any more than this and the ground will definitely break.” Devon said to her and she rolled her eyes aside.
She knew that.
“I’m just trying to teach him a lesson.” She said and added a bit more gravity.
“Haha, where’s that proud grin of yours now?” Her smile gradually fell and she asked with a serious expression, “Do you regret it?” She stepped on his back as she remembered their first encounter.
“Justin, do you remember what Devon told you the first day we met?
The first day where you beat me up and said I’d deserve to die for being weak.
Do you remember?” She asked but Justin did not answer.
More like, he could not answer since his face was buried to the ground.
She didn’t know if he could hear her but she would say what she wanted to, regardless.

“‘Justin, know that a day will come when you will come to regret your actions.’ Devon said those exact words to you that day as he carried me from the floor you had beaten me into.” She let out a comical scoff.
“And what did you say?
Oh, it was something like, ‘I long for that day when I, Justin, will have the leisure of feeling regret.’ You said those exact words.
And now that day has come.
So, tell me, how does it feel?” She bent her head down and asked in what seemed like a whisper.
“How does deep regret feel?” Mark and Devon watched Alice taking her revenge so calmly.
Devon was even more surprised that she remembered those words.
He thought she had fallen unconscious then.
Was she just pretending?
“Phew, I think he’s passed out.” Alice said, releasing her skill.
And then she turned to them.
“Do you know where this guy lives?
We need to go pick up whatever we can do we can settle for the damage he’s caused.” “Yeah, I believe that’s reasonable.” Devon said, going to her side.
“Just don’t indulge her.” Mark said, looking at them in disbelief.
“She’s planning to wreck his place the same way he wrecked ours.” “Pft, of course not.” Alice denied but that had actually been her plan.
So, maybe she could change it up on the way.
“I’ll just pick up anything that has value and leave.
It’s quite simple.” “That’s stealing in another form.” Mark said and grabbed her hand.
“You are not a thug so let’s leave that.
We can get compensation from his guild later.” “Oh, why don’t we go to his guild to get what we want and-” “No!” He sternly refused and she pouted, folding her arms.
“You’re no fun.” Devon laughed and she looked at him, surprised that he was laughing.
With that handsome face, his laugh looked quite…
Charming.
“Hey, don’t laugh unnecessarily.” She said and he asked, “Why not?” Averting her gaze, she lied, “‘Cause it’s contagious.” Devon observed her and noticed she was lying but he could not tell the initial reason why he asked her to stop laughing.
“Anyway, ahem,” she cleared her throat.
“What do we do with him then?” She asked.
“Let’s have the agency deal with that.” Devon answered and stepped foot on Justin before snapping his fingers.
He teleported him to the agency’s front desk, startling them.
The lady at the front desk looked up, wondering if he had suddenly fallen from the sky.
“Wait, isn’t that Justin of the Red Flame Guild?” Someone pointed out.
There were awakeneds that either came to register, get their mana level checked, or do some other random things, so the front desk that was the closest to the entrance was packed with awakeneds.
And so, they started taking pictures, spreading across the world images of the badly battered Justin.
“I believe that will take care of things.” Devon said and then glanced at Mark who had his eyes fixed on him.
Was he trying to figure him out?
“Okay, now that he’s gone and ‘somebody’ doesn’t want us to raid his guild or his house, who will pay for this damage?” She asked, folding her arms and rolling her eyes away from Mark.
Mark cleared his throat and said, “Don’t worry.
I’ll pay for it.
We’ll just get the agency to compensate later.
For now, let’s fix our front door to avoid more uninvited guests.” He eyed Devon and then turned away to call building maintenance.
“Hm, I guess that can work.” Alice said and then turned to Devon.
“So, Devon, I forgot to ask but what’s your purpose for coming here?
Do you have business with me?” She looked at him, genuinely wondering why he was at the house when she flew across the sky.
“Why don’t we discuss that over dinner?” He asked.
“What do you say?” Her ears perked up and she accepted.
“Well, why not?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Author_fredah Let’s hope no one steals Alice away with a good meal
