The Female Leads Truly Loves You - Chapter 281
Chapter 281: Mixed bathing
“Seaview Park?”
“What, you look like you’ve never heard of it?”
“What? Of course, I’ve heard of it. I’ve been in Kuhang long enough, thank you very much… It’s just, why would you suddenly want to go there? In my memory, isn’t that place so rundown and old that only the elderly go there? Plus, it doesn’t really seem like your style, Officer Aurora.”
“Ha, you’re just out of the loop. Seaview Park was renovated earlier this year. It’s become a hotspot for the younger crowd. Plus, I’m off today, so what’s wrong with just hanging out? Or do you have other plans?”
“What plans could I possibly have?”
“Then stop complaining. I’ll come pick you up.”
“Ugh, so annoying… I have to put on makeup and change clothes…”
“Alice, you’re 26 years old. Can’t you act a bit more grown-up? Staying home all day at your age, you’ll rot.”
“Why do you have to say it like that… Fine, fine, I’ll wait for you to come get me.”
That was why Alice, who had the day off and seemed to be quite free lately, ended up at Seaview Park with Officer Aurora.
Who could have expected, though, that such an ordinary day would bring such an encounter?
At first, everything seemed perfectly normal, even boringly so.
It was supposed to be just a casual day out—strolling, grabbing a coffee, living a bit like the young folks, except the company wasn’t the opposite sex she fancied.
“It’s really crowded, isn’t it?”
Alice, dressed casually without any special effort, just light makeup and a jacket, stood out with her striking face and undeniable figure, and spoke somewhat boredly.
“Ha, you look so listless. Is it because you’re out with me instead of Sam, and that’s why you’re bored?”
Aurora was clad in a loose trench coat, her tall stature and cultivated, brisk demeanor giving her an effortlessly cool appearance that could make any woman take a second look.
Alice spoke irritably, “Can we not bring him up all the time?”
Lately, Alice hadn’t had much of a chance to spend time alone with that Sam.
“What’s the matter? You and Sam having a spat?” Aurora asked with a somewhat schadenfreude grin.
Alice narrowed her eyes.
“No, it’s just that I’ve barely seen Sam recently, I’ve been insanely busy.”
“Why don’t you ask him out then?”
“Aren’t you the one who asked me out?”
“So if I hadn’t asked you out, you would have asked him, right?”
“That’s not necessarily true. Why should I give him that satisfaction and ask him out?”
Alice’s face was full of disdain, as if she held all the confidence and some unspoken initiative.
She spoke very nonchalantly.
Aurora couldn’t help but laugh.
“He’s got plenty of girls around him, you sure it’s okay to just let things be?”

Alice wanted to say, would not letting things be somehow magically keep him tied to her? Obviously, that was impossible. Alice realized she just couldn’t take the initiative with Sam.
But she would never admit defeat verbally.
“It’s fine, no worries at all.”
“Hmm? That guy over there… looks like Sam.”
Suddenly, Aurora pointed in a direction.
Alice replied irritably. “Can we not play these kinds of jokes right now? You’re so childish.”
“No, seriously, take a look. Isn’t that Sam?”
“What the hell is he doing here at this time? You think…”
Alice was about to say: You think he likes coming to places like this? But the next moment, as her gaze shifted, the words seemed to get stuck in her throat.
Because even from a slightly blurred silhouette, a familiar sensation washed over her.
Without a doubt, she couldn’t mistake that boy’s figure.
That height, that silhouette, that demeanor, even the shape of the hair at the back of his head… she knew it all too well.
So…
“Officer Aurora… Miss Alice? What are you doing here?!”
The moment he was spotted, Sam felt his scalp tighten.
Geez, he thought today was going to be a rare peaceful day, but how did it suddenly turn into such a dramatic scene?
And with these two women, of all people!
“Officer? And… a teacher? Huh?”
Zoe, standing next to Sam, looked suspiciously at the two women across from them.
Her first impression was that both women had a unique aura and were strikingly beautiful. It would be rare to see even one such woman in other places, let alone two at once.
Then she was puzzled by the titles Sam had blurted out.
How did these roles… come to be associated with Sam, and it seemed their relationship with him was not ordinary.
Finally, Zoe realized something shocking.
This officer… had she seen her somewhere before?
This teacher… wasn’t she the one downstairs that day, the first clue Zoe had that Sam’s life was complicated?
In an instant.
Zoe’s expression began to change, as if something invisible was beginning to flow. It was like a river that normally flowed smoothly was now rushing into a turbulent undercurrent.
“Sam, so even your days off are this stylish, huh? You really do have no shortage of women around… And who might this be?”
Alice seemed unaware that Zoe already knew her.
She simply felt annoyed by any woman who appeared next to Sam.
Especially a new one.
And…
Why did she look like a siren? And what was with that figure? Why were her breasts so large!
Alice had always been quite confident in her own figure, which she considered her greatest asset.
But upon seeing Zoe, Alice could only sigh…
That was just outrageously voluptuous!
That waist-to-hip ratio, those enormous breasts!! It was just too exaggerated!
At this moment, Sam’s eyes were darting around, unsure which side’s emotions to soothe first.
It seemed like he should explain something, but what exactly should he explain?
Where were the options?
Why, even though he was the mc, were there no answer choices appearing before him now?
He looked from side to side, then said with tense nerves,
“Ah, this is my neighbor Zoe, a ‘big sister’ who takes very good care of me.”
“Big sister?”
“Yes, and this is my homeroom teacher, Alice, a very responsible teacher. My rapid academic progress is all thanks to Miss Alice.”
“Homeroom teacher?”
“Right, and this is Officer Aurora.”
Aurora had been enjoying watching Sam figure out how to handle this clearly abnormal situation.
Hearing Sam finish up like that, she paused.
“Is that it?”
Sam looked at Aurora strangely.
“Is there something I missed? Hmm? Or should I do an introduction for you?”
“…Fine, fine, fine!”
Aurora clenched her fist, her knuckles cracking loudly.
She had initially thought to let Sam slide this time for Mia’s sake, but now she was done covering for him. She was curious to see how he would wrap this up.
Zoe looked suspiciously at Alice.
“Miss Alice, have we met somewhere before?”
Alice was taken aback, Zoe’s gaze making her slightly uncomfortable.
How to put it—without any specific reason, a woman can intuitively tell whether another woman’s gaze is aggressive or benevolent.
“Have we…? It’s unlikely.”
Alice instinctively denied it, as she truly didn’t remember such an encounter.
But Zoe was already certain. Even though the clothes were different from what one would wear in summer, that one momentary image was enough to confirm many things—the voice, the gaze, and the profile from this angle were all the same.
There was no doubt about it.
Heh, it seems today just got a lot more interesting.
Zoe suddenly flashed a radiant smile.
“Then I must have remembered wrong. After all, a beauty like Miss Alice, one would probably only see on TV, right?”
What was with this woman, suddenly buttering up like that?
A duel of compliments?
Did she think I’ve been a teacher for so many years for nothing?
Alice’s lips also curled into a smile that held its own, revealing a beautiful grin.
“How could that be? I find a beautiful woman like Miss Zoe quite rare indeed. Not just the face, but this figure, like a dairy cow… tsk tsk tsk, it even makes my heart flutter.”
Zoe covered her mouth and giggled, seemingly shy about such praise.
“No wonder you’re a teacher, your words are so lovely. With Miss Alice guiding him, it’s no wonder Sam has improved so much. I really appreciate it, Miss Alice~”
As she spoke, Zoe casually hooked her arm through Sam’s.
It looked like a big sister thanking the teacher on behalf of her little brother.
But…
They were just neighbors, not siblings at all!
Sam clearly saw Alice’s eyes twitch noticeably.
What was this undercurrent all about?
Why did Sam suddenly feel an urge to jump straight into the sea?
He realized that things were starting to go awry and couldn’t let certain things ferment any longer.
So, Sam smoothly withdrew his hand from Zoe’s arm.
“I really didn’t expect to run into you all today… maybe you should continue having fun, we should probably be heading back…”
Time to bolt!
Hurry, hurry, bolt!
But just as Sam spoke,
“Eh? You’re leaving already?”
“Since we’ve met, why not join us? Four isn’t too many or too few, isn’t it just perfect?”
Zoe and Alice both chimed in with this suggestion.
Sam glanced between the two women, their gazes too intense to meet directly. He instinctively looked towards Aurora. “Uh… it doesn’t seem like there’s much to do around here, and today was kind of a last-minute thing. Maybe we could hang out some other time…”
Aurora gave a slight smile.
“Oh dear, I’m suddenly feeling a bit hungry. Have you guys eaten yet? How about we grab something together?”
“Eat?”
Sam blinked in surprise.
Aurora narrowed her eyes.
You think it’s over? Kid, I’m setting you up for a big day today!
“Oh! Right, just eating is too boring. Oh, I remember there’s a new hot spring that opened nearby. It’s got great reviews, supposedly very good for beauty and skin health, very healthy…”
“Hot springs?!”
Where did this tidbit come from?
But…
Alice hesitated for a moment.
“Hot springs? So, we soak… what about him?”
Exactly, soaking in a hot spring isn’t like swimming. Each to their own pool, even if they start fighting, it wouldn’t involve him, right?
Aurora’s smile grew even brighter.
She almost couldn’t help but hold her forehead and bend over in a fit of exaggerated laughter.
“Don’t worry, I remember this hot spring has mixed bathing…”
Mixed bathing?!
Are you kidding me?!
