The Golem Mage - Chapter 474
Chapter 474: Parting.
Chapter 474: Parting.
Although the Flarefang Saber tiger lunging at him appeared incredibly dangerous, but Alec merely regarded it as another oversized kitten, and now that he knew he could summon his golems, he saw no reason to hold back, as with a wave of his hand, he summoned all his golems.
But the golem designated to confront the Tier 3 Flarefang Saber tiger was Titan, as It conjured a shield of ice, halting the tiger€™s assault, then tilted the shield to the side, using the momentum to launch an attack with its free hand, an ice mace hurtled straight toward the tiger€™s head.
[> Mid Tier Spell €“ Inferno Roar <]
However, before the weapon could connect, the Flarefang unleashed a deafening roar that intensified the heat in the area.
The roar created a wave of scorching air that repelled Titan, sending him flying as the ice weapon crumbled upon impact.
Alec, who had just landed, watched in surprise, he hadn€™t expected any demonic beast of the same realm to match Titan in strength, yet he couldn€™t help but be impressed by how the demonic beasts of the Beast Forest executed powers beyond their realm, but he still held a belief that Titan wasn€™t going to lose.
After summoning all his golems, Alec stood still, issuing a domineering command.
€œKill them all!€ he ordered, and all his main golems advanced to confront the horde of Flarefang Saber tigers charging their way, with those capable of summoning minions already doing so.
Titan rose again, this time summoning a mace that was significantly larger than the previous one, with a long ice chain attached to its end.
As Titan engaged the Tier 3 Flarefang Saber tiger, presumed to be the leader, Alec took a leisurely stroll through the heated battlefield, observing his golems as they dispatched the Flarefang tigers.
The likes of The Hive Queen, Oni, Butcher, Sword Saint, Legion, and Magnito dealt with the smaller Tier tigers who were no match for them, while Titan clashed head-on against the Tier 3 demonic beast.

Fifteen minutes later, the battle had concluded.
With Titan resting his massive mace on his shoulder, its spikes stained with the Blood, evidence of his victory.
He had relentlessly crushed the skull of the Tier 3 Flarefang Saber tiger with his spiky mace, demonstrating his fierce combat instincts despite the tiger€™s primal fighting technique.
Alec observed Magnito and sensed it was on the verge of evolving to the next stage, he smiled, feeling as though this world was a perfect paradise created solely for him.
The bodies of the recently slain Flarefangs seemed to merge with the earth, vanishing from view, but Alec€™s attention was already shifting as he spotted another group of Flarefang Saber tigers emerging from various directions.
This new group included three Tier 3 Flarefang Saber tigers, one with a flame pattern on its forehead, while the other two displayed the unique flaming patterns on their tails.
Alec watched them with a smile, conjuring a throne from the earth element and sitting comfortably, flanked by his golems.
However, the new tigers that appeared realized Alec was responsible for the massacre of their kin, becoming enraged in the process and charged toward him, and all Alec did was gesture with his hand, directing his golems to meet the oncoming assault.
He had been contemplating the structure of the Beast Forest and had concluded that the first level seemed to contain beasts ranging from Tier 1 to 3, for such demonic beasts, he felt his presence was unnecessary; his golems were more than capable of handling the situation.
Though it was an amusing sight to see someone dressed in simple loincloths sitting on a stone throne, but Alec felt that for once, he should be able to intimidate and bully the demonic beasts of the first level , especially after recalling how he had been killed the previous day in the second level.
€“
Alec€™s eyes snapped open as he was ejected from the Beast Forest and this time he didn€™t die, he had spent about three hours there, and during that time, Magnito had advanced to the next realm, making Alec proud.
All his golems had now reached the Tier 3 realm.
His only concern was waiting for the golem that would be the first to ascend to the Mid-rank realm, and with the Amulet Artifact he believed that would be happening very soon.
He noticed Pale, who was still standing at the entrance of the cave, keeping watch.
€œHow long was I out?€ Alec inquired.
€œAbout an hour, In thirty minutes, it would have been Arthur€™s turn to take over,€ Pale replied without turning back, but Alec, feeling wide awake, decided to relieve Pale and take over Arthur€™s position in the night watch.
As he pondered the fact that the ratio of time between the Amulet world and the real world was three to one.

As the early morning sun shone into the cave, it served as an alarm for the entire team, everyone woke up to find Alec engrossed in their scroll of missions.

€œHey, did you stay up all night?€ Pale asked in surprise, remembering that Alec had taken over the night watch duties from him, and the fact that Alec was still awake suggested he might have foregone sleep entirely.
€œYeah, I did,€ Alec confirmed as he turned to his team.
€œYou should have woken me when it was my turn, i would have gladly done my part,€ Arthur complained, but Alec dismissed his grumbling with a weak smile.
He had stayed awake for an entirely different reason, and he was about to share the news with them all.
€œNow, settle down everyone, I have some announcements to make,€ Alec said, prompting them all to turn toward him with full attention, eager to understand what was causing Alec€™s current unease.
€œFirstly, you should all be aware that, given our current pace, it€™s clear we won€™t be able to complete all the missions assigned to us, and I€™ve decided to take on all horde-related missions by myself, dividing the team into two groups, as this will allow us to tackle the missions more effectively and complete them all before the last day and meet our deadlines.€
As Alec finished speaking, Brandon was already raising his hand, but Alec didn€™t acknowledge him or allow him to share his thoughts.
€œNow, I know you€™re not all comfortable with these changes, but believe me when I say that none of you can accompany me, the group needs all hands on deck, so Trust that I can handle my side of the problems; just focus on yours, and we would definitely cross parts along the entire duration a few time.
€œ
€œHere, I€™ve outlined every mission you€™re to undertake and the things I think you need to be cautious of, for now, I want you to give your vice-captain, Beatrice, the same level of respect you would give me, that€™s all, now get ready, pack up, and move on to your next mission!€
Alec concluded his speech with his head held high, hands behind his back, and a slight smile after throwing the scroll to Beatrice, somehow, the team had already begun to feel a sense of longing for him, even before they had parted ways.
