The Golem Mage - Chapter 479
Chapter 479: Growth (2).
Chapter 479: Growth (2).
The leader of the sea demon had underestimated Alec€™s resilience and fighting ability, as humans typically didn€™t have an advantage against other races especially ones with unique racial talents, so the leader was taken aback.
As throughout their battle, Alec showed no signs of fatigue, almost as if he possessed an endless reserve of stamina, adding to the leader€™s astonishment, Alec€™s skin proved impervious to a Tier 5 attack even as a Tier 4 Mage, an extraordinary feat for a human as no Tier 5 human would try taking hiss attacks head on without no armour on.
Secretly, the leader hoped that this might all be a hallucination, but the sight of Alec€™s determined and intense gaze, despite the numerous cuts and flowing blood o his skin, dispelled any doubt, and he realised this was undeniably real.
€œ Since you desire death so ardently, allow me to teach you why you should never provoke the wrong race,€ the leader declared, summoning another water trident, this time in a light green shade, he took a moment to observe Alec€™s cautious reaction to the new water element particles encompassing the weapon.
In a swift and unexpected movement, the sea demon leader charged at Alec with tremendous speed, catching him off guard, and thrusting his rotating trident towards Alec€™s chest, the leader intended to strike a fatal blow.
However, Alec quickly crossed his hands in front of his chest and summoned stone fists, extending them up to his shoulders, his determination to shield himself from the trident€™s piercing attack was unwavering.
Yet, the outcome wasn€™t what Alec had anticipated, as the sharp points of the trident pierced into his stone fists, a mysterious force lifted him into the air, causing him to rotate at a dizzying speed alongside the weapon, and the situation took a sudden and dangerous turn.
€œHump!€
The force from the sea demon leader€™s trident sent Alec hurtling into yet another building, amidst the wreckage, Alec coughed and struggled to his feet, his body aching from the impact, despite the bruises and the pain, a smile played upon his lips as he locked eyes with the sea demon leader.
€œWhat€™s so amusing?, while you may possess the innate defensive strength of a Tier 5 Mage, there is no way you can defeat me, little boy, i have vast experience outweighing yours,€ taunted the sea demon leader, a hint of arrogance in his voice.
Unperturbed, Alec retorted, €œYou talk too much.€
The sea demon leader, undeterred by Alec€™s words, waved his hands, summoning countless particles of green water, these particles seamlessly formed into temporary water serpents, seemingly infused with life.
€œJust you wait, you won€™t be laughing when my variant water element becomes the cause of your demise, although I have only recently awakened to its power and my control is lacking, I should be able to kill you within these few minutes, sending a message to other human mages who dare to encroach upon my territory,€ boasted the sea demon leader.
His familiarity with the nearby cities€™ organizations and mid-ranking mages allowed him to deduce that Alec was not a native of this region.
€œYou really do talk too much, now, you shall face the consequences of your actions.
BIND!€ Alec interrupted, swiftly executing a series of intricate hand signs.
It was then that the sea demon leader realized something was awry with their surroundings.
The ground beneath them appeared to be covered in a blood-like array, and both he and Alec stood precisely in the center.
The sea demon leader knew he hadn€™t cast such a complex array himself, leading to the realization that Alec was the one responsible for this unexpected turn of events.
That is when he realised that his realm was rapidly dropping`, the sea demon leader struggled to comprehend the drastic drop in his realm till he reached the Peak of Tier 4 realm as the sea demon leader€™s spell began to crumble, it became evident that his current realm lacked the capacity to sustain the power the variant spell wield, Alec€™s words echoed in his mind, instilling a sense of uncertainty.
€œYou see, while I possess the power to resist a Peak Tier 5 lifeform and Mage, it€™s no secret that no matter how many times I beat and smash them, I won€™t be able to defeat or kill them due to their evolved physique and overwhelming firepower,€ Alec calmly explained.
A glimmer of determination flickered in his eyes as he continued,
€œOn the other hand, my physical prowess is on par with theirs, but unfortunately, my destructive powers have not yet reached the level necessary to bring about your demise, However, I have devised a way to level the playing field.€
