Despite the chastisement, Alec had reasons to be pleased.

She understood that every exceptional mage held their own secrets, guarded with their lives, so if Alec was unwilling to share, she wouldn€™t push further, for now, she was just glad to see him using the pills to support the team when the academy couldn€™t.
