The Golem Mage - Chapter 53
Chapter 53: Commander Chapter 53: Commander [ Blood Moon Event…]
->The system has detected that the host is about to participate in a Mid-Tier Blood Moon War, and all experience gained from this Blood Moon will be doubled.
-> There are numerous unknown missions to be completed during the Blood Moon.
-> The store will open after your first Blood Moon battle.
-> Unknown rewards will be given at the end of the Blood Moon.
Alec€™s hand trembled with anticipation as the realization sank that double experience points meant a faster leveling rate.
He couldn€™t resist the opportunity to improve himself more quickly, and his excitement was nearly uncontrollable.
Arthur stared at him, puzzled.
He knew Alec was a Battle Maniac, but such enthusiasm was only displayed when Alec fought against others, but he rarely showed his emotion during sparring sessions.
But now, Alec€™s aura surged with instability, radiating a profound thirst for battle that everyone near him could feel.
€œAlec!?€ Arthur called out, sensing that things were spiraling out of control; he needed to snap Alec out of this state quickly.
€œHmmm?€ Alec quickly regained his composure upon hearing his name, faking a cough as he responded,
€œI€™m okay, don€™t worry about me; just prepare for the battle of a lifetime because we€™re about to show these second-dimension creatures the true definition of fear.€
Alec opened his status tab, realizing he had been holding onto extra attribute points for some time.
However, his mind changed then; he wanted to go all out now that he could fight.

When examining his status tab, Alec tried to determine which areas needed immediate improvement, but he focused on his strength and pushed it up to 20.
As he did so, he felt his muscles twitching beneath his clothes.
The sudden surge in power made him want to scream in pain, but he bit his lip and stifled a muffled groan.
Brandon and Arthur exchanged doubtful looks, unable to entirely comprehend what was happening to Alec.
They knew Alec had always been a little eccentric, but his current display of pain left them confused and concerned about his well-being.
After a few seconds, Alec started to adapt to the pain, with beads of sweat covering his forehead as if he had just engaged in a fierce battle.
€œGod, I will never increase my strength by such a large number again,€ Alec whispered, exhaling in relief.
He made a silent promise to avoid making that kind of mistake.
Deciding to utilize the remaining six available points, Alec allocated them to boost his agility to 20 and his endurance to 15.
Instantly, he felt lighter and more capable of withstanding prolonged fights.
It was an encouraging development; however, when he contemplated the active skill of his armor, a sense of disappointment washed over him.
While he didn€™t regret increasing his endurance, deep down, he worried that if he outgrew his armor and his endurance fell behind his other attributes, it could hinder his performance.
As a mage who wanted to become an all-rounder fighter, he didn€™t want such limitations to affect him.
With that in mind, he opened his status tab again to assess his attributes after the adjustments.

A smirk crept onto Alec€™s face as he observed his improved attributes; he was fully prepared to face the second-dimension creatures and kick their passes now; his impatience radiated from him, palpable to the others.
€œAlec, you€™re acting strange again,€ Agnes commented, noting the eager expression on his face.
€œWell, I am; what€™s holding us back from taking down all the enemies?
I can€™t wait to kill all of them,€ Alec replied.

His behavior took aback the team; what they saw as an impending battle, he saw as an opportunity to harvest free experience.
After all, where else could he find Tier 1 realm creatures as freebies to kill and advance in rank?
Or where would he get the opportunity to freely engage in battles and kill without incurring the people’s wrath?
Alec knew there was nowhere else he could become famous than in a blood moon war for his battle contributions; it was his only hope to establish his name and make a mark.
€œI never realized you were such a battle freak,€ Agnes commented.
Having trained in Alec€™s House for the past few days, she felt she understood him quite well; Alec always acted carefree and never took anything seriously.
If someone were to ask her to describe Alec, she would say he was a lazy cultivator who found joy in experimenting with golems that often ended up blowing up; she couldn€™t understand what more he wanted, especially since she already saw Legion and Titan as valuable golem assets, even if she remained unaware of the rest of his golems.
Alec merely snorted in response.
He knew that cultivating conventionally would take him months to advance to the next level, and he needed to prepare for such a lengthy process, so he had chosen the easier way out.
He is happy because he gets double experience points.
€œGordon’s clan, formation, Lantz family, stay behind the Gordon’s family and await orders!€ Alec shouted out his first order.
The Gordons clan Tier 1 mages quickly adjusted, as Alec had already gone through the basic formations with them; however, the Lantz family appeared sluggish, but they hastened their movements to move behind the Tier 1 mages Gordons clan.
Some, like Sheila, were shocked by how events unfolded; they had expected Alec to use them as vanguards, clearing a path for his family members to gain easy kills.
But it appeared they had overthought the situation, as Alec showed no interest in that strategy; he needed to prepare to disrupt his formation just because he had an additional two hundred and fifty people under his command, even though he did intend to utilize them.

Alec€™s facial expression underwent another change, and his excitement was palpable.
He needed this to develop a super squad of fighters for the Gordons clan; the only slight disappointment was that the Lantz family would also benefit from these advantages.
