Chapter 543: Questions?.
Chapter 543: Questions?.
The two mages who had entered with the recently killed one were staring at his severed head in shock, they didn€™t move an inch from where they stood.
Despite both being at the peak of the Tier 4 Mage Realm, they recognized that the fallen mage, was a high Tier 5, and had been the strongest among them and was therefore allowed to lead by their master.
But his head had been severed with a single swipe, leaving them puzzled and uncertain about whether to advance or retreat-either option seemed fraught with peril.
If they retreated, their master would surely punish them; advancing seemed to promise only certain death, especially when they saw the fierce determination in Alec€™s eyes.
Swoosh!
While Alec pondered his next move, two golden rods shot towards the two Tier 5 mages at incredible speed.
The first mage managed to raise his blade and deflect the attack, but the second was less fortunate, as the golden rod pierced his neck.

Alec, still poised to attack, heard Arthur€™s voice from behind him as a circular wind blade with sharp edges appeared at the point where the rod had struck the masked mage.
The wind blade rotated with such speed that it eventually severed the second intruder€™s head, blood splattered, but before it could reach Alec who was at the forefront , he raised his left hand, that was holding the Changdao, which pulsed with mysterious red energy.
The red mist that emanated from it slowed down the descending blood.
The Changdao then absorbed all the blood, causing Alec to hear a small belch from the blade, but he paid it no mind.
The third Mage, who had miraculously survived, quickly dashed out of the room.
However, he wasn€™t fast enough and was eventually chased down and eliminated by Lucas.
Alec and the rest of the team emerged from the training room, only to be confronted with the chaos unfolding in the living room.
The rest of the mages that Legion had scanned were inside the room and about ten Tier 5 mages were restraining his team members.
Alec€™s fury ignited upon witnessing this, and he conjured a red flame sword in his right hand.
With his left hand, he raised his Changdao in a reverse grip, causing the flames to be absorbed by the Bloody Changdao and setting it ablaze when both his hands met in the middle.
Without wasting a moment, Alec summoned all his golems, and together with the rest of the team, as they launched a counterattack, slowly but steadily regaining control of the situation, meanwhile, Sophia had being injured and Alec had Titan protect her.

Outside the building of the War God Academy team, the High Rank enforcer from the Ancient zero clan observed all the chaos through a water barrier screen.
He had led his team of twenty Mid Rank Enforcers to their mission site only to realize there was another group there, his expression was cold as he spoke.
€œWho the hell are these idiots who have jeopardized our mission?€ the High Rank Enforcer exclaimed, his voice devoid of warmth as his eyes glowed with an icy blue light.
The sight of his now even more menacing ice mask added to the chilling atmosphere.
€œGet in there, the mission has now changed, prioritize the kidnapping of Pale Zero, anyone who obstructs you must be eliminated immediately,€ he commanded.
€œYes, sir!€ the twenty Mid Rank Enforcers behind him responded in unison, swiftly entering the Building.
The arrival of these new masked intruders gave Alec a pounding headache, as he couldn€™t fathom how they could possibly overcome such overwhelming numbers.
To Alec€™s astonishment, the new masked individuals with sky blue-coloured masks not only fought against his team but also attacked the initial group of intruders.
And It dawned on Alec that there were two distinct groups at play, with conflicting interests that led to the in-fighting.
Initially, Alec had believed he was responsible for the conflict and felt guilty, thinking that the Blaze Clan had sent mages to eliminate him.

However, upon realising the masks, he ruled out that possibility.
Now faced with two separate opposing groups, Alec realized that the Blaze Clan had nothing to do with the situation.
However, he still struggled to understand why they were being attacked.
€œHow dare you attack students under my watch!€ a powerful and resonating voice boomed toward them.
The members of the War God Academy team breathed a sigh of relief, recognizing the voice.
Even before she appeared, the room filled with water droplets, signifying her presence, however, the masked mages paid no attention to her voice , as the three Tier 6 Enforcers from the Zero clan had already rendered Pale unconscious and were attempting to escape amidst the chaos.
But they were met with who Selene stood defiantly in front of the front door blocking them, her hair cascading in wild waves around her.
Hovering behind her were Rotating water spears, their gleaming presence adding an element of danger to the scene.
And It was also impossible to miss the imposing figure of a gigantic Black Crow, positioned just behind Selene.
Across from her stood Alec, his hand on the hilt of his Changdao.
On the other side stood a mage from the opposing group of masked individuals, wearing a mask crafted from skeletons and a tattered cloak.
Alec found it amusing that he still had three bones protruding from his mask, creating the illusion that the skeleton mask itself was wearing a crown.
Additionally, he held a uniquely long sword in his hand, with the blade facing downward and the hilt firmly grasped by his two hands, the sword€™s hilt was made entirely of bones, although Alec couldn€™t determine which demonic creature had been sacrificed to create it.
However, he could discern that the spine of the beast had been utilised, as Alec peered through the eye sockets of his skeleton mask, bright red light flashed.
Suddenly, the three Tier 6 Enforcers, assigned with the main mission of capturing Pale, dropped his unconscious body.
And one of the Enforcers remained with Pale, while the remaining two prepared for battle.
€œWhy do you Zero clan enforcers always act as if you rule the clan, when in reality, you are merely lapdogs for those in the core clan,€ the man wearing the skeleton mask rasped with a dry voice.
The mention of the Zero clan caused Selene€™s expression to harden, as she recalled what she had unintentionally overheard when those clansmen of the zero clan came for Pale.
She now understood why her team had been attacked, but it only fuelled her anger that the attackers had completely disregarded the War God Academy€™s reputation.
However, Selene knew she couldn€™t act rashly now, although chaos filled the room, with Alec€™s golems providing assistance, it was only a matter of time before the masked intruders were defeated.
Therefore, Selene focused on the immediate concern at hand.
€œAnd who are you?€ Selene asked, turning her attention toward the figure wearing the skeleton mask.
