The Dean of the War God Academy finally shifted his attention away from his battered team, though he could still hear the Head Abbot giggling beside him, but he was determined to maintain his composure, as he refrained from succumbing to rage.
€œLadies and gentlemen, welcome to the second round of the inter-academy competition,€ announced the red-haired referee that had been chosen to oversee the battle as he ascended into the air, utilizing his control over mana, he projected his voice far and wide, reaching every spectator as if he stood right beside them.
With his mastery over the sound element, this task proved relatively effortless.
€œAre you all ready to witness another blood-curling and intense battle as these two academies compete to determine who would go on to fight for the title of the new supreme academy after one year?€ asked the referee, prompting the crowd to erupt into cheers filled with boundless energy.
Their collective enthusiasm resonated throughout the entire Grand Arena, causing the arena itself to vibrate.
€œI can€™t hear you!
Are you ready?€ the referee shouted again, his voice even louder than before, in response, the crowd nearly reached a fever pitch, their fervent shouts of €œYes!€ filling the arena to the brim.
A smile played upon the red-haired referee€™s lips as he regarded the outcome of his efforts.
He had purposefully incited them to shout with such intensity that their voices would carry far beyond the confines of the Grand Arena, ensuring that spectators even in distant locations would realize the battle was about to commence.
€œIf that€™s the case, then allow me to introduce on the right side of the battle ring, the Pure, the charismatic, the Holy Knight mages who adhere to the code of Holy honour, I present to you the mages of the Holy Grail Academy!€ With a sweeping motion of his hands towards the right, the red-haired referee introduced the Holy Grail Academy, prompting the fans and supporters in that section of the crowd to erupt into cheers and chant the academy€™s name.
Eleven members of the Holy Grail Academy emerged together, but a noticeable gap was evident, as five of them walked at the front, while the remaining six trailed behind, clearly distinguishing the main team from the backups.
Their pure white academy uniforms were adorned with numerous blade weapons, giving the impression of knights rather than mages, the carefully strapped swords at their waists further reinforced this image.
Observing their appearance, one would hesitate to associate them solely with magic, for they exuded an aura of knightly warriors.
In the right corner of the arena was where the Holy Grail Team where to seat as there was a shade and chairs placed for them just close to the battle ring
And the team members took their seats while their coordinator flew into the battle ring, awaiting the commencement of the draw.
€œNow, from the left side, we have the bloodthirsty, the wild, the strong, and the ancient bloodline mages from the Bloodline Academy!€ declared the red-haired referee, igniting yet another eruption of excitement from the crowd.
Alec and his team, seated in their reserved area, could discern from the crowd€™s enthusiastic response that the Bloodline Academy was the favoured contender.
The cheers and the shower of flowers cascading onto the stage were overwhelming, surpassing the grand entrance of the Holy Grail team.
Meanwhile, on the left side, the members of the Bloodline Academy began to make their entrance, led by Damien, who walked alongside his Captain, Dragov Dragonmir by his side.
Dragov possessed long, flowing white hair that obscured his face, cascading down to his shoulders.
He walked with a deliberate slowness, exuding a confident air that seemed to accentuate his arrogance, the Bloodline Academy€™s uniform was black, adorned with different-coloured edges.
As while Damien€™s uniform boasted striking red edges, Dragov€™s own had a crisp white accent.
The entire Bloodline team proceeded to their designated seating area on the left side, not bothering to engage with the fans who were eagerly showing their support.
And, just like the Holy grail co-ordinator did, the coordinator of the Bloodline Academy walked to the center of the Battle ring, surprising the entire crowd.
The reason for their astonishment was the fact that the coordinator of the Bloodline Academy happened to be a female-a revelation that caught everyone off guard, however, they knew that if she had been entrusted with such a significant role in the Bloodline Academy, it undoubtedly meant she possessed formidable power due to how the academy was being run.
No one wanted to find themselves on her bad side.
With both teams seated, the coordinators played a game of heads or tails to determine who would send out a mage out first for the starts of the battle, in the end, the decision favoured the Holy Grail Academy€™s coordinator.
The Bloodline Academy€™s coordinator maintained a blank expression even after it was decided that her academy would be the first to send out a fighter, while the coordinator of the Holy Grail Academy smiled.
This was because he understood the Bloodline Academy co-ordinator sending out a fighter first could work to her disadvantage, as it would afford him the perfect opportunity to assess the selected Mage strength and choose a mage he believed would secure an easy win.

Despite the Holy Grail coordinator€™s seemingly content demeanour, the Bloodline Academy€™s coordinator remained unfazed.
She held steadfast belief that her team would emerge victorious without needing to exert much effort, as the co-ordinator returned to their respective teams to talk tactics while leaving the Referee to continue with his introductions.
€œRepresenting the Bloodline Academy for this battle is the captain Dragov Dragonmir, a Peak Tier 5 mage, Vice Captain Damien Sorin, a High Tier 5 mage, followed by Carmilla Sorin, also a High Tier 5 mage, Connor Lupus, a Low Tier 5 mage, and lastly Kira Nightfang, another Low Tier 5 mage,€ announced the referee, introducing the main line-up of the Bloodline Academy chosen to represent them.
The crowd erupted in cheer, particularly enthused by the appearance of the Captain, Dragov Dragonmir who finally showed and also decided to fight.
€œAnd representing the Holy Grail Academy, we have Captain Julian Soul, a Peak Tier 5 Mage, followed by Vice Captain Marcus Sanctus, a High Tier 5 Mage, Cassandra Blade, also a High Tier 5 Mage, and lastly the twins Gabriel and Michael Lightbringer, both Mid Tier 5 mages,€ continued the referee, presenting the line-up of the Holy Grail Academy.
Another section of the crowd, consisting of supporters of the Holy Grail Academy, erupted in cheers as the names of the chosen participants were called.
Alec kept his focus on both academies, his curiosity piqued to see who would be sent out first to secure the first victory, he understood the importance of securing the first win, as it would boost the morale of the leading team.
Though, when considering realms alone, the Bloodline Academy appeared to be slightly weaker compared to the Holy Grail Academy.
However, Alec knew better than anyone that a mage€™s realm did not necessarily reflect their true battle prowess, he himself served as a prime example of this truth.
His gaze remained fixated on the match, uninterested in missing even the slightest detail.
Just then, a mage rose from the sitting area in the Bloodline Academy€™s zone, as it seemed they had finally chosen their first fighter, the figure walked slowly towards the middle of the battle ring, the referee eagerly awaiting them as the crowd cheered, eager for the match to begin already.
